པལ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་མཚན་ལེགས་པར་ཡོངས་བསྒྲགས་དཔལ་གྱི་རྒྱལ་པོ་དེ་ཐུགས་དང་པོ་བསྐྱེད་པ་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་སྤྱད་པ་སྤྱོད་པ་ན་དེས་སྨོན་ལམ་ཆེན་པོ་བརྒྱད་རྒྱུན་མ་ཆད་པར་བཏབ་བོ། །བརྒྱད་གང་ཞེ་ན། དེའི་སྨོན་ལམ་ཆེན་པོ་དང་པོ་ནི་གང་གི་ཚེ་བདག་མ་འོངས་པའི་དུས་ན། བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་པ་དེ་ན་སེམས་ཅན་གང་ལ་ལ་དག་ན་བའི་ནད་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་ལུས་ཡོངས་སུ་གཟིར་ཏེ། རིམས་དང་། གཤེད་བྱེད་དང་། བྱད་དང་། རོ་ལངས་དང་། འཇིགས་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་གཙེས་པ་དེ་དག་བདག་གི་མཐུས་བདག་གི་མིང་ཡིད་ལ་གནས་ཤིང་། བདག་གི་མིང་ལན་བདུན་བརྗོད་པས་དེ་དག་གི་ནད་ཐམས་ཅད་རབ་ཏུ་ཞི་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག །བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་མཐར་ཐུག་གི་བར་དུ་རིམས་དང་། སྡིག་པ་ཅན་གྱི་གདོན་རྣམས་མེད་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག །རབ་ཏུ་ཞི་བར་གྱུར་ ཅིག་ཅེས་བཏབ་བོ། །དེའི་སྨོན་ལམ་ཆེན་པོ་གཉིས་པ་ནི་གང་གི་ཚེ་བདག་མ་འོངས་པའི་དུས་ན་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་པ་དེ་ན། སེམས་ཅན་གང་དག་ལོང་བ་དང་། འོན་པ་དང་། སྨྱོན་པ་དང་། ཤ་བཀྲ་ཅན་དང་། ནད་ཚབས་ཆེན་པོས་བཏབ་པར་གྱུར་པ་དེ་དག་བདག་གི་མཐུས། བདག་གི་མིང་ཡིད་ལ་གནས་ཤིང་། བདག་གི་མིང་ལན་བདུན་བརྗོད་པས་དེ་དག་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་མཐར་ཐུག་གི་བར་དུ་དབང་པོ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཡོངས་སུ་ཚང་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག །སྡུག་བསྔལ་དང་ནད་ཐམས་ཅད་རྒྱུན་ཆད་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག་ཅེས་བཏབ་བོ། །དེའི་སྨོན་ལམ་ཆེན་པོ་གསུམ་པ་ནི་གང་གི་ཚེ་བདག་མ་འོངས་པའི་དུས་ན་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་པ་དེ་ན། སེམས་ཅན་གང་དག་འདོད་ཆགས་དང་། ཞེ་སྡང་དང་། གཏི་མུག་གིས་བསྒྲིབས་པ། མཚམས་མེད་པ་ལྔ་བྱེད་པ། བྱ་བ་མ་ཡིན་པ་སྤྱོད་པ་མང་བ། དམ་པའི་ཆོས་སྤོང་བ། སྡིག་པ་མི་དགེ་བའི་ལས་སྣ་ཚོགས་བྱེད་པ། ངན་སོང་གསུམ་དང་། སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བར་འགྲོ་བ་དེ་དག་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་ཆེན་པོར་སྐྱེས་ནས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྱི་ཚོར་བ་མྱོང་བ་དེ་དག་བདག་གི་མཐུས། བདག་གི་མིང་ཡིད་ལ་གནས་ཤིང་བདག་གི་མིང་ཡིད་ཀྱིས་བརྗོད་པས་དེ་དག་གི་མཚམས་མེད་པ་ལྔ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ལས་ཀྱི་སྒྲིབ་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཡོངས་སུ་བྱང་ཞིང་ཡོངས་སུ་ཟད་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག །བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་སུ

具德如来应供正等觉善名称吉祥王，从最初发心时起，在行持菩萨行时，曾不断地立下八大宏愿。哪八大宏愿呢？他的第一大宏愿是：当我在未来之时，现证无上正等菩提成佛之时，任何众生为种种疾病所困扰，被瘟疫、死神、邪魔、僵尸和恐惧所折磨，那些众生因我的威力，心中忆念我的名号，念诵我的名号七遍，他们的所有疾病都完全平息。直至菩提究竟，愿瘟疫和罪恶的鬼怪都消失，愿完全寂静。这样立愿。他的第二大宏愿是：当我在未来之时，现证无上正等菩提成佛之时，任何众生是盲人、聋人、疯子、白癜风患者，以及被严重疾病折磨的那些众生，因我的威力，心中忆念我的名号，念诵我的名号七遍，那些众生直至菩提究竟，愿所有感官都完全具足，愿痛苦和疾病都完全断绝。这样立愿。他的第三大宏愿是：当我在未来之时，现证无上正等菩提成佛之时，任何众生被贪欲、嗔恨和愚痴所蒙蔽，造作五无间罪，行持诸多不如法之事，舍弃正法，造作各种罪恶不善之业，堕入三恶道和地狱的众生，那些生于大地狱中感受痛苦之感的众生，因我的威力，心中忆念我的名号，心中念诵我的名号，愿他们的五无间罪等所有业障都完全清净和完全灭尽，直至现证无上正等菩提成佛之
English
The glorious Tathagata, Arhat, perfectly complete Buddha, King of Auspicious Renown, from the time of his first arising of mind, while practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, continuously made eight great aspirations. What are the eight? His first great aspiration is: When I, in the future, manifest complete perfect enlightenment, at that time, any sentient beings who are completely afflicted in body by various diseases, tormented by plagues, executioners, demons, zombies, and fears, may those beings, through my power, hold my name in their minds, and by uttering my name seven times, may all their diseases be completely pacified. Until the ultimate end of enlightenment, may plagues and evil spirits be absent. May they be completely pacified. Thus he aspired. His second great aspiration is: When I, in the future, manifest complete perfect enlightenment, at that time, any sentient beings who are blind, deaf, mad, afflicted with vitiligo, and afflicted by severe diseases, may those beings, through my power, hold my name in their minds, and by uttering my name seven times, may all their senses be completely complete until the ultimate end of enlightenment. May all suffering and disease be completely cut off. Thus he aspired. His third great aspiration is: When I, in the future, manifest complete perfect enlightenment, at that time, any sentient beings who are obscured by desire, hatred, and ignorance, who commit the five heinous crimes, who engage in many improper actions, who abandon the sacred Dharma, who commit various sinful and unwholesome deeds, those beings who go to the three lower realms and to hell, those beings who are born in the great hell and experience the feeling of suffering, may those beings, through my power, hold my name in their minds, and by uttering my name in their minds, may all their karmic obscurations, including the five heinous crimes, be completely purified and completely exhausted, until the manifestation of complete perfect enlightenment,
