Secret Lord, for a bodhisattva who abides in these dharmas, I do not say that he can perfect even a little of the bodhisattva conduct. Secret Lord, what is the reason for that? Because these dharmas are great obstacles to the bodhicitta of the bodhisattvas. Then the Secret Lord Vajrapani said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, how much merit will increase for a son or daughter of good family who abides in the samaya of this secret essence? After he asked this, the Bhagavan said to the bodhisattva Vajrapani: Secret Lord, can you fathom the extent of the sky? He replied: Bhagavan, there is no limit to the sky, so it is impossible to measure its limit. The Bhagavan said: It may be possible to fathom the extent of the sky, but the amount of merit accumulated by a son or daughter of good family who sees the samaya in the mandala of the secret essence of existence cannot be fathomed. What is the reason for that? Secret Lord, this mandala can see the arising of the Buddhas. Secret Lord, the so-called mandala is the essence, the main thing, the ultimate of all essences, and there is no Tathagata mandala above it. It is the essence of all roots of virtue, it is a place, it is a refuge. Secret Lord, therefore, a son or daughter of good family who wishes to enter this mandala, mudra, and samaya, in order to obtain entry into the mandala, mudra, and samaya, even in a world filled with flames, should walk on with both feet. 应当生起敬爱善知识的念头，父母的念头和堪布的念头。那是什么缘故呢？对于那些菩萨，即使用自己的血肉供养，也无法报答，更何况其他的供养呢？秘密主，依靠谁能够断绝众生地狱的延续，不再转生为旁生，不再有阎罗王的世间身躯的菩萨，通过密咒之门也在行持菩萨的行径，如何能够报答他们呢？那些菩萨安住于不平等和平等之中，被一切如来的加持所加持，应当了知他们是具有如虚空般无处不在的行境者。秘密主，我将要告诫你，应当知晓。未来的时候，愚笨之人，执着于有相，执着于坏聚见，显现执着，智慧颠倒，没有确定自己心之所处的人们，会迷惑而说：这些不是佛所说的，而是自作者自己制造的。秘密主，应当了知那些愚笨之人会堕入两种恶趣，哪两种呢？即是地狱和旁生。秘密主，我不说那些人有丝毫善根的因。那是什么缘故呢？因为他们是趋入摧毁根本者，是阻碍成佛者，是被魔所控制者，是具有邪慧自性者，是没有习惯大乘者，是认为声闻乘为精华者。任何具种姓的男子或女子，如果对这部法类显现精进，就会说那些戒律败坏、行持罪恶之法的人，哪里会有佛的菩提呢？那些愚笨之人说了那些不悦耳的话语，就会堕入两种恶趣，因此，行持密咒之行，就像这样，一切遍知薄伽梵为了利益众生

One should generate the thought of a loving spiritual friend, the thought of parents, and the thought of a Khenpo. Why is that? For those Bodhisattvas, even if one were to offer one's own flesh and blood, it would not be enough to repay them, let alone other offerings. Secret Lord, how can one repay those Bodhisattvas who, through reliance on them, the continuum of sentient beings' hells is severed, they no longer go to the place of birth of animals, and the aggregates of the Lord of Death are no more, and who also practice the conduct of Bodhisattvas through the door of secret mantras? Those Bodhisattvas abide in the unequal and the equal, are blessed by the blessings of all the Tathagatas, and should be known as those who have a realm of activity that is like space, without any place to abide. Secret Lord, I shall admonish you, know this. In the future, foolish people, those who have views of inherent existence, views of the aggregates of destruction, manifest attachment, whose wisdom is inverted, and who have not settled the place of their own minds, will be confused and say: These are not spoken by the Buddha, but are self-made by self-creators. Secret Lord, it should be known that those foolish people will go to two kinds of bad destinies. Which two? Namely, hell and animals. Secret Lord, I do not say that those people have even a little bit of the cause of virtuous roots. Why is that? Because they are those who have engaged in destroying the root, those who obstruct Buddhahood, those who are overpowered by demons, those who have the nature of corrupt wisdom, those who have not become accustomed to the Great Vehicle, and those who perceive the Hearer Vehicle as the essence. Any son or daughter of good family who becomes manifestly diligent in this Dharma category will speak unpleasant words, saying, "Where is the Buddhahood of the Buddhas for those who have broken their vows and practice sinful Dharma?" Because those foolish people speak those unpleasant words, they will fall into two bad destinies. Therefore, practicing the conduct of secret mantras is like this: the Bhagavan, the all-knowing one, for the benefit of sentient beings

为了安立的缘故，宣说了这一切。对他们生起嗔恨心，会变成痛苦的承受者。那是什么缘故呢？要知道，他们是如来佛的秘密持有者，是天人等世间所应顶礼膜拜的。 然后，世尊毗卢遮那佛又对金刚手等如十方佛刹微尘数般的持金刚者们说道：善男子，为了守护、救护和隐藏他们，善男子，我将他们交付于你。你们要恒常不断地守护这些善男子，要完全地救护，也要从损害中遮止。如是说道后，金刚手等如十方佛刹微尘数般的持金刚者们异口同声地说：世尊，如来佛，法王，如您所说的那样，我们都会照做。这些善男子，直到证得菩提心要之前，我们都会守护。世尊说道：善男子，太好了，太好了！你们无论如何都要这样做，使得导师的教法不会衰败。然后，秘密主金刚手对所有持金刚者们说道：朋友们，如来、阿罗汉、正等觉佛陀们历经百千难行才成就的，就是这无上正等菩提。因此，你们都要精进努力地守护他们。那是什么缘故呢？因为这样我们就成了如来佛的如教奉行者。这将会变成守护如来佛的教法。这将会变成不平等与平等。这将会变成持有十力。因此，为了守护、救护和隐藏这法类，我们都要恒常精进。这些善男子们，也要为了守护、救护和隐藏而精进。如是说后，那些持金刚者们

All these were spoken for the sake of establishment. Generating hatred towards them will turn one into a recipient of suffering. Why is that? Know that they are the holders of the secrets of the Tathagata, worthy of being worshiped by the world including gods. Then, the Bhagavan Vairochana again addressed Vajrapani and the others, the Vajraholders as numerous as the dust particles of ten Buddhafields: "Noble sons, for the sake of protecting, saving, and concealing them, noble sons, I entrust them to your hands. You should constantly and continuously protect these noble sons. Completely save them and also avert them from harm." After he spoke thus, Vajrapani and the others, the Vajraholders as numerous as the dust particles of ten Buddhafields, spoke these words with one voice: "Bhagavan, Tathagata, King of Dharma, we will do everything as you have said. These noble sons, we will protect them until they reach the essence of enlightenment." The Bhagavan said: "Noble sons, excellent, excellent! You should do it in such a way that the Teacher's teachings will not decline." Then, the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, said to all those Vajraholders: "Friends, this is the unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment that the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfect Buddhas have accomplished through hundreds of thousands of difficult deeds. Therefore, all of you should generate diligence and protect them. Why is that? Because by this, we will become those who act according to the Tathagata's command. This will become the protection of the Tathagata's teachings. This will become unequal and equal. This will become holding the ten powers. Therefore, for the sake of protecting, saving, and concealing this Dharma category, we should always strive. These noble sons should also strive for the sake of protecting, saving, and concealing." After speaking thus, those Vajraholders
