那成为（人）是因为向三宝供养马和车辆。转生为人后感官敏锐，是因为询问佛经并念诵经文。转生为人后感官不敏锐，是因为从畜生道而来。转生为人后成为他人的奴隶或婢女，是因为欠债而来。转生为人后不稳定且轻浮，是因为前世做过猴子而来。转生为人后患麻风病，是因为诋毁三宝而来。转生为人后手脚僵硬弯曲，是因为紧紧捆绑众生的手脚而来。转生为人后身体上出现伤口和疮，即使长期用药治疗也无法痊愈，是因为殴打众生而来。转生为人后天性不驯顺，是因为做过毒蛇而来。转生为人后六根齐全，是因为守护戒律而来。转生为人后感官不齐全，是因为破戒而来。转生为人后不干净，是因为做过猪而来。转生为人后喜欢唱歌跳舞，是因为做过乐师而来。转生为人后贪欲极大，是因为做过狗而来。转生为人后脖子上有赘瘤，是因为独自吞食而来。转生为人后口臭，是因为用恶语辱骂他人而来。转生为人后没有男性性器官，是因为阉割狗和猪的睾丸而来。转生为人后舌头短，是因为在寂静处对上师说不悦耳的话而来。转生为人后特别喜欢奸淫他人的妻子，死后会堕落为天鹅。转生为人后特别喜欢奸淫自己亲近和有亲缘关系的人，死后会堕落为麻雀。

That becoming (human) is due to offering horses and vehicles to the Three Jewels. Becoming a human with clear senses is due to inquiring about the sutras and reciting them. Becoming a human with unclear senses is due to coming from the animal realm. Becoming a human and being a slave or servant of others is due to coming from being in debt. Becoming a human and being unstable and frivolous is due to having been a monkey in the past. Becoming a human and being afflicted with leprosy is due to denigrating the Three Jewels. Becoming a human with stiff and crooked limbs is due to tightly binding the limbs of sentient beings. Becoming a human with wounds and sores on the body that cannot be healed even with long-term medication and treatment is due to beating sentient beings. Becoming a human with an untamed nature is due to having been a venomous snake. Becoming a human with all six senses complete is due to upholding moral discipline. Becoming a human with incomplete senses is due to breaking moral discipline. Becoming a human and being unclean is due to having been a pig. Becoming a human and enjoying singing and dancing is due to having been a musician. Becoming a human and having great greed is due to having been a dog. Becoming a human with a goiter on the neck is due to swallowing alone. Becoming a human with bad breath is due to insulting others with harsh words. Becoming a human without male genitalia is due to castrating the testicles of dogs and pigs. Becoming a human with a short tongue is due to speaking unpleasant words to lamas in secluded places. Becoming a human and particularly enjoying adultery with the wives of others will lead to falling into the state of swans after death. Becoming a human and particularly enjoying adultery with those who are close and related to oneself will lead to falling into the state of sparrows after death.
