ན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ངས་ཇི་སྐད་དུ་མདོ་སྡེ་དེ་དང་དེ་དག་གི་རྒྱུ་དང་འབྲས་བུ་བསྟན་ནས་སེམས་ཅན་མང་པོ་རྣམས་ཀློག་པ་དང་། ཁ་ཏོན་དུ་འདོན་པ་དང་། མངོན་པར་བསྒྲུབ་པར་བསྐུལ་ནས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྱི་བགེགས་ལས་ཡོངས་སུ་བཟླས་པ་ དེ་བཞིན་དུ་འདིར་ཡང་དེ་ལྟར་བསྟན་པ་ཡིན་པས། གང་ལ་ལ་ཞིག་གིས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་གྲངས་འདི་ཐོས་ནས་སྐུར་པ་འདེབས་པར་བྱེད་པ་དེ་ནི་ཚེ་འདི་ཉིད་ལ་ལྕེའི་དབང་པོ་ལྟུང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་གྲངས་འདིའི་མིང་ཅི་ལགས། ཇི་ལྟར་ཡོངས་སུ་གཟུང་བར་བགྱི། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་གྲངས་འདི་ནི་ལེགས་ཉེས་ཀྱི་རྒྱུ་དང་འབྲས་བུ་བསྟན་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་སྟེ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་སྤྱོད་པ་མངོན་པར་སྒྲུབ་པར་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བར་ཡང་ཟུང་ཤིག །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་གྲངས་འདི་བསྟན་པ་ན། ལྷ་དང་མི་སྟོང་ཕྲག་བརྒྱད་ཅུ་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཏུ་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །བུད་མེད་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་དུ་མ་ཚེ་འདི་ཉིད་ལ་བུད་མེད་ཀྱི་དབང་པོ་མེད་པར་གྱུར་ནས་སྐྱེས་པའི་ལུས་མངོན་པར་གྲུབ་པར་གྱུརད་ཏོ། །སྡིག་པ་སྤྱོད་པའི་སྐྱེ་དགུ་སྟོང་ཉིས་བརྒྱ་ནི་གདུག་པའི་སེམས་སྤངས་ནས་བདག་གི་ཚེ་རབས་དྲན་པར་གྱུརད་ཏོ། །དགེ་བ་སྤྱོད་པའི་སྐྱེ་བོ་ཚད་མེད་པ་དག་ནི་མི་སྐྱེ་བའི་བཟོད་པ་ཐོབ་ནས་རྟག་པར་བདེ་བ་མྱོང་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །ཚེ་འཕོ་བར་འགྱུར་བ་ཚད་མེད་པ་སྙེད་ནི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་ཡོངས་སུ་དག་པར་སྐྱེས་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་རྣམས་དང་མཉམ་ཞིང་མཚུངས་པའི་གྲོགས་སུ་གྱུར་ཏོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ནས། འཁོར་འདུས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་རང་གི་གནས་སུ་དོང་སྟེ། བསོད་ནམས་མངོན་པར་འདུ་བྱེད་ཅིང་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བས་དགའ་བཞིན་དུ་སྤྱོད་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །འཕགས་པ་ལེགས་ཉེས་ཀྱི་རྒྱུ་དང་འབྲས་བུ་བསྟན་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་མདོ་རྫོགས་སོ།། །།ཞུ་ཆེན་གྱི་ལོཙྪ་བ་བན་དེ་ཆོས་གྲུབ་ཀྱིས་རྒྱ་གར་དང་རྒྱའི་དཔེ་ལས་བསྒྱུར་ཅིང་ཞུས་ཏེ་གཏན་ལ་ཕབ་པ།། །། འཕགས་པ་ལེགས་ཉེས་ཀྱི་རྒྱུ་དང་འབྲས་བུ་བསྟན་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ཐེག་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་མདོ།

那逝（佛陀）说道：根嘎沃（阿难），我如是宣说了那些经部的因和果，劝勉众多有情阅读、诵持和证悟，从而完全从痛苦的障碍中解脱。 同样，这里也如是宣说。任何人听到这个法类后加以诽谤，那他在今生就会失去舌根。 然后，具寿阿难对世尊说道：世尊，这个法类叫什么名字？应如何受持？世尊说道：根嘎沃（阿难），这个法类名为“宣说善恶之因果”，也可以受持为“发愿证悟菩萨行”。世尊宣说此法类时，八万天人和人发起了无上正等觉之心。无数百千妇女在今生失去了女性的根，显现为男性的身体。一千二百造恶众生舍弃了恶毒之心，忆起了自己的前世。无数行善之人获得了无生法忍，恒常享受安乐。无数将要转生之人往生到清净的佛土，与菩萨们成为平等和相同的道友。世尊如是宣说后，所有集会眷属都回到自己的住所，显现福德，极其欢喜地行持。 《圣善恶之因果宣说经》圆满。 校勘者的译师班德·曲珠从印度和汉地的范本翻译、校对并确定。

The Departed One (Buddha) said: Ananda, as I have explained the causes and effects of those sutras, encouraging many sentient beings to read, recite, and realize them, thereby completely liberating them from the obstacles of suffering. Similarly, it is explained here as well. If anyone, after hearing this Dharma discourse, were to slander it, they would lose their tongue in this very life. Then, the venerable Ananda said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, what is the name of this Dharma discourse? How should it be upheld? The Blessed One said: Ananda, this Dharma discourse is called "Explaining the Causes and Effects of Good and Evil," and it can also be upheld as "Making Aspirations to Realize the Conduct of a Bodhisattva." When the Blessed One taught this Dharma discourse, eighty thousand gods and humans generated the mind of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Countless hundreds of thousands of women, in this very life, lost their female faculties and manifested as male bodies. Twelve hundred beings who engaged in evil deeds abandoned their malicious minds and remembered their past lives. Countless beings who engaged in virtuous deeds obtained the patience of non-arising and constantly experienced happiness. Countless beings who were about to transmigrate were born in pure Buddha-fields and became friends equal and alike to the Bodhisattvas. After the Blessed One spoke thus, all the assembled retinue returned to their own abodes, manifested merit, and joyfully engaged in practice with great delight. The Sutra of the Explanation of the Causes and Effects of Good and Evil is complete. The translator-editor Bande Chodrup of Zhuchen translated, edited, and finalized it from Indian and Chinese exemplars. The Sutra of the Great Vehicle, called the Explanation of the Causes and Effects of Good and Evil.
