འི་གླིང་གི་མི་ཐམས་ཅད་དེར་ཡུད་ཙམ་ཞིག་མཆོག་ཏུ་རྨོངས་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ། ། གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ན་གནས་པའི་སྲོག་ཆགས་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་དུ་མ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ལུས་ཀྱི་ཕྱེད་བཅད་པ་མཐོང་བ་དང་། སྡུག་བསྔལ་དྲག་པོས་གདུངས་ཏེ། ཀྱི་ཧུད་ལྷ་བསད་པ་ནི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ལོ་ཞེས་སྒྲ་གཅིག་ཏུ་བསྒྲགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ལ་ལ་ནི་ས་ལ་འགྲེ་ལྡོག་གོ །ལ་ལ་ནི་དཔུང་པ་བརྐྱང་ནས་ཆོ་ངེས་འདེབས་སོ། །ལ་ལ་ནི་མཆི་མའི་རླབས་ཀྱིས་སྐད་འཛེར་བར་ཚིག་འདོན་མི་ནུས་ཏེ། ཀཽ་ཤི་ཀ་ངའི་ལུས་ཀྱི་སྦྱིན་པ་འདིས་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་ཏེ། སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་འཁོར་བ་ལས་བསྒྲལ་བར་བྱའོ། །བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་ཁྱོད་རང་གི་ལུས་ཡོངས་སུ་ཟད་པའམ། གཏོང་བའམ། ཡོངས་སུ་བཏང་བས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ སེམས་རྣམ་པ་གཞན་དུ་གྱུར་པའམ། འགྱོད་པར་མ་གྱུར་གྲང་། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་སྨྲས་པ། ཀཽ་ཤི་ཀ་ང་ལ་ནི་འགྱོད་པ་མེད་དོ། །བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཇི་ལྟར་ཤེས་པར་བྱ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་སྨྲས་པ། ཀཽ་ཤི་ཀ་དེའི་ཕྱིར་ངའི་ལུས་ཀྱི་ཕྱེད་བཅད་པ་འདི་གནས་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་དུ་ཞོག་ཤིག །དེ་ནས་ལྷའི་དབང་པོ་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱིས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ལུས་ཀྱི་ཕྱེད་བཅད་པ་དེ་གནས་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་དུ་བཞག་གོ །དེ་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་རྗེས་སུ་འགྲོ་བའི་བྱམས་པའི་སེམས་ཉེ་བར་བཞག་ནས་བདེན་པ་གསོལ་བར་བྱེད་ཅིང་དེའི་ཚེ་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་དེ་སྨྲས་པ། ཇི་ལྟར་བྱང་ཆུབ་འདོད་གྱུར་ནས། །སྙིང་རྗེས་ལུས་ནི་བཏང་བས་ན། །སེར་སྣ་མེད་ཅིང་ཞུམ་མེད་དེ། །དེང་ནི་འགྱོད་པར་གྱུར་པ་མེད། །འགྱོད་པའི་སེམས་ཀྱང་མེད་གྱུར་ན། །བདེན་ཚིག་འདི་དང་ལེགས་བྱས་པས། །བརྒྱ་བྱིན་དེང་ནི་ང་ཡི་ལུས། །འདི་ནི་སྔོན་གྱི་ཇི་བཞིན་དུ། གནོད་སྦྱིན་དང་། ནམ་མཁའ་ལྡིང་དང་། མིའམ་ཅི་དང་། ལྟོ་འཕྱེ་ཆེན་པོ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ངོ་མཚར་དེ་མཐོང་བ་དང་། ངོ་མཚར་ཀྱིས་མིག་གདངས་ཏེ། ཅ་ཅོ་དང་ག་ཞའི་སྒྲ་སྒྲོགས་སོ། །སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་ཆེན་པོ་འདི་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་ངོ་མཚར་དང་རྨད་དུ་བྱུང་བ་དང་། ལྷ་དང་མི་རྣམས་ཡིད་སྡུག་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཆོ་འཕྲུལ་དང་། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ལུས་ཡོངས་སུ་རྫོགས་པ་མཐོང་བ་དང་སྲོག་སྟོར་བ་ལས་སླར་རྙེད་པ་བཞིན་དུ་མཆོག་ཏུ་ངོ་མཚར་སྐྱེས་སོ། །འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་ཀྱང་སྨྲས་ཏེ། ཀྱེ་མ་ཁྱེད་ནི་སླར་འཚོ་བའི། །ངོ་མཚར་དག་ནི་བལྟ་བར་གྱིས། །ས་དང་ནགས་སུ་བཅས་པ་ཡི། །འཇིག་རྟེན་འདི་ནི་སྐལ་བར་ལྡན། །དེ་ནས་ལྷའི་དབང་པོ་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱིས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ལུས་སྔོན་གྱི་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་དུ་གྱུར་པར་མཐོང་བ་དང་ངོ་མཚར་གྱིས་གདུངས་པའི་མིག་དང་། སྤྲོ་བ་བསྐྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར་སྨྲས་པ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བློ་ཤིན་ ཏུ་དེས་པ་དང་། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྨོན་ལམ་མི་འགྱུར་བ་དང་། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སེམས་ཅན་ལ་སྙིང་རྗེ་ཆེན་པོས་རྗེས་སུ་ཞུགས་པ་ནི་ལེགས་སོ་ལེགས་སོ། །གང་ཡང་ཁྱོད་ནི་ཡིད་ཀུན་དུ་སྐྲག་པར་བྱེད་པ་རྣམས་ལ་མི་འཇིགས་པས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་འབད་པ་འདི་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་ཡུན་རིང་པོར་མི་ཐོགས་པར་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་འཚང་རྒྱ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ལྷའི་དབང་པོ་བརྒྱ་ བྱིན་གྱིས་དེའི་ཚེ་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་དེ་སྨྲས་པ། ཀྱེ་མ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བརྩོན་རབ་དྲག །བརྟན་པ་ཉིད་ཀྱང་བླ་ན་མེད། །ཀྱེ་མའོ་སེམས་ཅན་ལ་སྙིང་བརྩེ། །ཀྱེ་མའོ་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཡིད་ལ་བརྟན། །ཀྱེ་མའོ་མི་རིང་འཇིག་རྟེན་འདི། །མགོན་པོ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་སྐྱོང་གྱུར་ཏེ། །སྡུག་བསྔལ་རྒྱ་མཚོ་དྲག་འཇིགས་ལས། །ཡང་དག་མྱ་ངན་འདའ་བར་མཛད། །དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། ལྷའི་དབང་པོ་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་མཆི་མ་ཆར་བཞིན་དུ་འབབ་ཅིང་སྐད་འཛེར་བཞིན་དུ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ལ་བཟོད་པ་གསོལ་བར་བརྩམས་ཏེ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་གང་བདག་གིས་ཉམས་བསྐྱེད་པའི་བསམ་པས་ཚོར་བ་དྲག་པོ་ལས་ཀུན་དུ་སྦྱོར་བར་མཛོད་ཅིག །གཞན་ཡང་གང་གི་ཚེ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་ན་ཡང་བདག་ལ་དགོངས་ཤིག །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་སྨྲས་པ། ཀཽ་ཤི་ཀ་བཟོད་ཀྱིས་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་བྱས་ཏེ་ངས་ཀྱང་དྲན་པར་བྱའོ། །བར་སྐབས་དེར་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་མཐུས་དེ་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ནམ་མཁའ་ལས་ལྷའི་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་ཆར་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་པ་ཡིད་དུ་འོང་བ་འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་བབ་པར་གྱུར་ཅིང་འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་རྒྱན་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་གང་བར་གྱུར་པ། ལྷའི་སྣང་བ་བས་ཀྱང་གསལ་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་རི་ལ་གནས་པའི་དྲང་སྲོང་དེ་ངོ་མཚར་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་རྨད་དུ་བྱུང་བ་མཐོང་བ་དང་། ངོ་མཚར་གྱིས་བསྡུས་པའི་ཡིད་ཀྱིས་བསམས་པ། སྔོན་མ་བྱུང་བའི་ངོ་མཚར་བྱུང་བ་འདི་ཅི་ཞིག་ཡིན། འདི་ལྟ་བུའི་མཐུ་སུའི་ཡིན་སྙམ་མོ། །དེ་ནས་དྲང་སྲོང་དེ་ལ་བསྟི་གནས་ན་གནས་པའི་ལྷ་གཞན་གྱིས་གཏམ་འདི་རྒྱས་པར་སྨྲས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་དྲང་སྲོང་དེ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཤིན་ཏུ་དཀའ་ཞིང་བ་ All the people of the continent were greatly bewildered for a moment. When hundreds of thousands of beings living in the city saw the Bodhisattva's body cut in half, they were tormented by intense suffering and cried out in one voice, "Alas, killing the god is suffering!" Then some rolled on the ground. Some stretched out their arms and wailed. Some were overwhelmed by tears, their voices hoarse, unable to speak, crying loudly and beating their chests. Some, thinking of the power of impermanence, sat in silence, their hearts filled with sorrow and discomfort. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, knowing that the Bodhisattva was as immovable as Mount Meru from the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and completely relinquishing the Bodhisattva's miracle, and seeing the hair standing on end, greatly rejoicing and excelling, opened his eyes in wonder and, together with the four sons of the gods, made the Brahmin's attire disappear, abiding in his own form, and said to the Bodhisattva: "Great King, I am not a Brahmin, I am the Lord of the Gods, Indra. Great King, well done, well done! Alas, your diligence! Alas, unwavering steadfastness! Alas, giving up your own body without attachment! Alas, compassion for sentient beings! Alas, delight in giving, well done, well done! Great King, even though you are destroyed by intense suffering, it is excellent that you do not turn back from giving your own body with compassion! Great King, I ask you, what purpose do you seek with such extremely difficult diligence?" The Bodhisattva said, "Kausika, with this giving of my body, I will perfectly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and liberate sentient beings from samsara." The Bodhisattva said: Kaushika, therefore, let this half of my body remain as it is. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, restored the severed half of the Bodhisattva's body to its original state. Then, the Bodhisattva, having placed a mind of loving-kindness that follows all sentient beings, made a declaration of truth, and at that time, he spoke in verse: Since I desire to attain enlightenment, Having given up my body with compassion, Without stinginess and without fear, Today I have no regrets. If there is no regret in my mind, By this true word and good deed, Indra, today my body, May this be complete with all faculties, As it was before! Monks, immediately after he spoke that verse, the Bodhisattva's body instantly became as it was before. The gods, nagas, yakshas, garudas, kinnaras, and mahoragas dwelling in the sky saw that miracle, and their eyes widened with wonder, and they uttered sounds of clamor and creaking. All these great assemblies of beings were also filled with wonder and amazement at the miracle, the wondrous transformation that delighted gods and humans, and the Bodhisattva's body being completely restored, as if recovered from death. They also said: Behold, you must see the miracle of being alive again! This world, with its land and forests, is fortunate indeed! Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, seeing that the Bodhisattva's body had become as it was before, with eyes filled with wonder, and for the sake of generating joy, said: Great king, your mind is very firm, your aspiration is unwavering, and your great compassion for sentient beings is excellent, excellent! In any case, you, with fearlessness towards those who cause fear in the mind, by this very effort of yours, before long, you will awaken to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. 那时以偈颂说道：唉呀，您的精进极为殊胜！坚定本身也是无与伦比！唉呀，对众生心怀慈悲！唉呀，菩提心在心中坚定！唉呀，不久这个世界，将由您这位怙主来守护！从痛苦的剧烈恐怖大海中，使之真正达到寂灭。如是说后，天帝释迦眼泪如雨般落下，发出哀鸣声，开始向菩萨祈求宽恕：大国王啊，请您以我因懈怠而产生的想法，从剧烈的感受中完全解脱吧！此外，当您证得无上圆满正等觉成佛之时，也请您顾念我！菩萨说道： कौशिका（藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思），宽恕吧，就这样做了，我也会记住的。在那期间，由于菩萨的威力，立即从天空中降下各种各样令人愉悦的天界珍宝雨，遍布整个赡部洲，整个赡部洲都充满了各种各样的装饰，比天界的光芒还要明亮。然后，住在山里的仙人看到如此奇妙的景象，心中充满了惊奇，心想：前所未有的奇迹发生了，这到底是怎么回事？这样的威力是谁的呢？然后，住在仙人住所的其他天神详细地讲述了这件事。之后，仙人听到菩萨极其艰难且令人毛骨悚然的声音，非常高兴，毛发竖立，心想：这位大心众生值得尊敬。于是带领五百眷属和王妃胜光，迅速赶到菩萨面前，祝愿胜利和长寿，与帝释天一同说道：如同天女般美好的，这些美丽的女儿们，请您这位怙主守护她们，并与这位善女一同欢喜吧！不会离家的美丽妃嫔，我将她们献给您，请您永远不要拒绝她们的请求。然后，菩萨接受了仙人和诸天之王帝释天的祈求。

At that time, he spoke in verse: Alas, your diligence is extremely excellent! Steadfastness itself is unparalleled! Alas, cherish compassion for sentient beings! Alas, Bodhicitta is firm in your mind! Alas, soon this world will be protected by you, the protector! From the terrible and frightening ocean of suffering, you will lead them to true Nirvana. After saying this, the lord of the gods, Indra, shed tears like rain and, with a wailing voice, began to ask the Bodhisattva for forgiveness: Great King, please release me from the intense feelings caused by the thought of my negligence! Furthermore, when you attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment and become a Buddha, please remember me! The Bodhisattva said: Kauśika (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思), forgive me, it is done, and I will remember you. In the meantime, due to the power of the Bodhisattva, immediately from the sky, a rain of various delightful celestial jewels fell, covering the entire Jambudvipa, and the entire Jambudvipa was filled with various ornaments, brighter than the light of the heavens. Then, the hermit living in the mountains saw such a wonderful and amazing sight, and with a mind filled with wonder, he thought: What is this unprecedented miracle that has occurred? Whose power is this? Then, another god living in the hermit's abode told the hermit about this in detail. After that, the hermit heard the Bodhisattva's extremely difficult and hair-raising voice, and was very happy, his hair standing on end, and he thought: This great-minded being is worthy of respect. So he led five hundred attendants and the queen, Royal Light, and quickly went to the Bodhisattva, wishing him victory and long life, and said together with Indra: These beautiful daughters, like celestial maidens, please, protector, take care of them, and be pleased with this virtuous woman! These beautiful consorts who will not leave home, I offer them to you, please never refuse their requests. Then, the Bodhisattva accepted the request of the hermit and Indra, the king of the gods.
