།དེ་ནས་བདག་གི་གཉེན་ཡིན་སྙམ་སྟེ་བྱམས་པ་སྙེམས་པས་སློབ་ཏུ་མི་བཏུབ་ནས་ཉིན་པར་ནི་བྲེ་མོ་གཏམ་གྱིས་དུས་འདས་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །མཚན་མོ་ནི་རྨུགས་པ་དང་གཉིད་ཀྱིས་དུས་འདས་པར་བྱེད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོས་དེ་གཉིས་མཐོང་ནས་དེས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ཁྱེའུ་འདི་གཉིས་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་མི་སློབ། ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་སྨྲས་པ། ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ཁྱོད་བྱམས་པའི་དབང་དུ་གྱུར་ཏེ་སློབ་མི་ཕོད་ན་དགེ་སློང་གཞན་དག་ལ་གཏོད་ཅིག །ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་སྨྲས་པ། བཙུན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་སུ་ཞིག་རང་གི་དགེ་བའི་ཕྱོགས་བོར་ཏེ་འདི་གཉིས་སློབ་ཏུ་བཏུབ། དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བཤེས་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ལ་ཚོལ་ཅིག །ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་སྨྲས་པ། བཙུན་པ་ཁྱོད་ཉིད་བདག་གི་བཤེས་ལགས་སོ་ཞེས་བྱས་ནས། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་གཉིས་ལག་པ་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་ཕུལ་ནས་སྨྲས་པ། བུ་ཁྱེད་གཉིས་ང་ལ་སློབ་ཏུ་མི་བཏུབ་ན་བཙུན་པ་འདི་ལ་སློབས་ཤིག་ཅེས་བྱས་སོ། དེ་ནས་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་བསམས་པ། དགེ་སློང་འདི་ནི་མི་སྲུན་པ་ཞིག་ཡིན་གོར་མ་ཆག །དེ་བས་དེང་བདག་ཅག་གཉིས་འདི་ལ་གཏད་དོ་སྙམ་ནས་བརྩོན་འགྲུས་སུ་སློབ་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡང་དེས་ཤིང་འགྲོགས་ན་བདེ་བར་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་ཤེས་ནས་ཉམ་བུ་ཤེད་བྱེད་དེ་དེའི་ཐད་དུ་སློབ་ཏུ་མི་བཏུབ་བོ། །དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་སྨྲས་པ། བཙུན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ཁྱེའུ་འདི་གཉིས་ཅིའི་སླད་དུ་མི་སློབ། དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་བདག་ལ་ཡང་འདི་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་ཉམ་བུ་ཤེད་བྱེད་དེ་བདག་ལ་སློབ་ཏུ་མི་བཏུབ་བོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་སྨྲས་པ། འདི་གཉིས་སྐྱོ་བ་བསྐྱེད་འཚལ་ལོ། །དེ་ལྟར་མ་བགྱིས་ན་འདི་གཉིས་སློབ་ཏུ་མི་བཏུབ་བོ། །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ཇི་ལྟར་འདོད་པ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱས་ནས། མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོས་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་གཉིས་ཁྲིད་དེ་འཆག་ཏུ་སོང་ནས་དེས་དེ་གཉིས་སྐྱོ་བ་བསྐྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་ཞིག་སྤྲུལ་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་གཉིས་འཆག་པའི་ས་ནས་ཐག་མི་རིང་བ་ཞིག་ནས་འཇིགས་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་སྒྲ་གྲག་སྟེ། དེ་ཐོས་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོའི་ཐད་དུ་སོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོས་དེ་གཉིས་ལ་དྲིས་པ། བུ་གཉིས་སྒྲ་འདི་ཅི་ཞིག་གི་སྒྲ། དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། སློབ་དཔོན་སྒྲ་ཆེན་པོ་འདི་ཅི་ཞིག་གི་སྒྲ་ལགས་པ་བདག་ཅག་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་གློ་བར་མ་ཆུད་དོ། །མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོས་དེ་གཉིས་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱེད་གཉིས་དེང་ལ་སྒྲ་ཆེན་པོ་འདི་ག་ལས་བྱུང་བ་ལྟོས་ཤིག ། དེ་ནས་དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོས་བསྒོ་བ་བཞིན་དུ་མཉན་ཏེ་ཕྱོགས་དེར་སོང་ངོ་། །དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་བལྟས་ན་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་མང་པོ་དག་གཅད་པ་དང་། གཏུབ་པ་དང་། བརྡེག་པ་དང་། འཚེད་པ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་རྣམས་ཉམས་སུ་མྱོང་བ་མཐོང་ནས་དྲིས་པ། ཁྱེད་སུ་དག་ཅིག །སྤྲུལ་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་དེ་ཉིད་ན་ལྕགས་ཀྱི་རྫ་བུམ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་ཁོལ་ཞིང་འདུག་པ་མཐོང་ལ། དེའི་ནང་དུ་འཚེད་པ་ནི་འགའ་ཙམ་ཡང་མི་སྣང་ངོ་། །དེ་ལྟར་མཐོང་ནས་དྲིས་པ། ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ལྕགས་ཀྱི་རྫ་བུམ་འདི་དོན་མེད་པར་ཁོལ་ཞིང་འདུག །སྤྲུལ་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། འདི་ནི་དོན་མེད་པ་མ་ཡིན་གྱི་ཀུན་དགའ་བོའི་སྲིང་མོའི་བུ་གཉིས་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ནས་དད་པས་བྱིན་པ་སྤྱོད་ལ་ལེ་ལོ་བྱེད་ཅིང་འདུག་པ་དེ་གཉིས་ཤི་བའི་འོག་ཏུ་འདིར་སྐྱེ་བར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་ཕྱིར་ལྕགས་ཀྱི་རྫ་བུམ་འདི་ཁོལ་ཞིང་འདུག་གོ །དེ་ནས་དེ་ཐོས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་གཉིས་འཇིགས་པ་ཆེན་པོ་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། དེ་གཉིས་འཇིགས་ཤིང་སྐྲག་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོའི་ཐད་དུ་སོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོས་དེ་གཉིས་མཐོང་ནས་དྲིས་པ། བུ་གཉིས་སྒྲ་ཆེན་པོ་འདི་ག་ལས་བྱུང་། དེ་ནས་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་ཐམས་ཅད་རྒྱས་པར་བསྙད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོས་དེ་གཉིས་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། བུ་གཉིས་དེ་ནི་ངས་ཁྱེད་གཉིས་ལ་བྱས་ན་ཁྱེད་གཉིས་ང་ལ་ཡིད་མི་ཆེས་ཏེ། ད་ནི་དོན་དེ་ཁྱེད་ཅག་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་མཐོང་བ་ཡིན་གྱིས་དེའི་ཕྱིར་ཁྱེད་གཉིས་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བར་སྐྱེ་བར་མི་འགྱུར་བ་དེ་ལྟར་གྱིས་ཤིག །དེ་ནས་དེ་ཐོས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་གཉིས་བརྩོན་འགྲུས་སུ་སློབ་པ་ལ་ཞུགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་དེ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་དེ་གལ་ཏེ་དེ་སྔ་དྲོ་དྲན་པར་གྱུར་ན་ནི་དེ་གཉིས་ཟན་སྟོར་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེ་སྟེ་ཕྱེམ་རེད་དྲན་པར་གྱུར་ན་ནི་ཅི་ཟོས་པ་ཡང་སྐྱུག་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །རྒྱུ་དེས་ན་དེ་གཉིས་ཉམ་ཆུང་ཞིང་རིད་ལ་སྦེག་ཅིང་ལུས་ཀྱི་མཐུ་མེད་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་དེ་གཉིས་མཐོང་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ལ་དྲིས་པ། བཙུན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ ཅིའི་སླད་དུ་ཁྱེའུ་འདི་གཉིས་ཉམ་ཆུང་ཞིང་རིད་ལ་སྦེག་ཅིང་ལུས་ཀྱི་མཐུ་མེད་པར་གྱུར། དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུ་ཆེན་པོས་དེ་ལ་ཐམས་ཅད་རྒྱས་པར་བསྙད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་དེ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། འདི་གཉིས་ཧ་ཅང་མི་དགའ་ཆེས་ཏེ་བྲུ་བས་གཟིར་བར་གྱུར་ན་ན་བར་འགྱུར་དུ་འོང་གིས་སྤྲོ་བ་བསྐྱེད་དགོས་སོ། །མཽད་གལ་གྱི་བུས་སྨྲས་པ། If these two children were to be ordained, why shouldn't they be ordained? They reported: O Blessed One, they can be ordained. The Buddha declared: Then what is wrong with ordaining them? They reported: The Blessed One has declared that a person under the age of fifteen should not be ordained, nor should they receive the full ordination. These two are not even seven years old, how can I ordain them? The Buddha declared: Ananda, can these two children drive away crows after setting out the food for the Sangha? Blessed One, they can do it. The Buddha declared: Therefore, I allow those who are seven years old and can drive away crows to be ordained, let them be ordained. Then, in this way, the Blessed One declared, allowing those who are seven years old and can drive away crows to be ordained, let them be ordained. After that, the Venerable Ananda ordained those two children and had them study recitation. Then, thinking they were his relatives, he was unable to teach them properly because of affection, and he spent his days in idle talk, and his nights in drowsiness and sleep. Then, the Venerable Great Maudgalyayana saw them and said to the Venerable Ananda: Ananda, why are these two children not studying? Ananda said: Venerable Great Maudgalyayana, these two children are spoiled with me, and I am under the influence of affection and cannot punish them. Maudgalyayana said: Ananda, if you are under the influence of affection and cannot teach them, then entrust them to other monks. The Venerable Ananda said: Venerable Great Maudgalyayana, who would abandon their own virtuous deeds to teach these two children? He said: Look for your friend. Ananda said: Venerable, you are my friend. Then, the Venerable Ananda took the two children by the hand and gave them to the Venerable Great Maudgalyayana, saying: Children, if you cannot study with me, then study with this Venerable One. Then, the two children thought: This monk must be a strict person. Therefore, today we two are entrusted to him.

于是就精进地学习。具寿大目犍连也因为和他们一起感到快乐，这两个孩子知道后，就轻蔑怠慢，不能在那里学习。之后，具寿阿难陀说：尊者大目犍连，这两个孩子为什么不学习？他说：具寿阿难陀，我也被这两个孩子轻蔑怠慢，不能在我这里学习。阿难陀说：应该让他们感到厌恶，如果不这样，他们是不能学习的。他说：具寿阿难陀，如您所愿。之后，大目犍连带着这两个孩子去散步，为了让他们感到厌恶，就变幻出一个地狱。之后，这两个孩子在离散步的地方不远的地方听到巨大的恐怖声音，听到后就来到具寿大目犍连那里。之后，具寿大目犍连问他们：孩子们，这是什么声音？他们说：导师，我们也不知道这巨大的声音是什么。大目犍连对他们说：你们今天去看看这巨大的声音是从哪里发出的。 之后，他们按照具寿大目犍连的吩咐，听从并向那个方向走去。他们走到那里一看，看到许多地狱众生正在遭受砍、剁、打、煮等痛苦，就问道：你们是谁？化现的众生说：是地狱众生。他们在那里看到一个巨大的铁锅正在沸腾，但里面却没有人在被煮。看到后就问道：为什么这个铁锅无缘无故地沸腾？化现的众生说：这不是无缘无故的，阿难陀的妹妹的两个儿子出家后，享用信施却懈怠，他们死后就会投生到这里。

Then he began to study diligently. The venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana also felt happy being with them, and when the two boys found out, they became contemptuous and lazy, and could not study there. Then, the venerable Ānanda said: "Venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana, why are these two boys not studying?" He said: "Venerable Ānanda, I am also being treated with contempt and laziness by these two boys, and they cannot study with me." Ānanda said: "You should make them feel disgusted, otherwise they will not be able to study." He said: "Venerable Ānanda, as you wish." Then, Mahāmaudgalyāyana took the two boys for a walk, and in order to make them feel disgusted, he conjured up a hell. Then, the two boys heard a great terrifying sound not far from the place where they were walking, and after hearing it, they went to the venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana. Then, the venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana asked them: "Boys, what is this sound?" They said: "Teacher, we do not know what this great sound is." Mahāmaudgalyāyana said to them: "Today, go and see where this great sound is coming from." Then, according to the instructions of the venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana, they listened and went in that direction. When they went there and looked, they saw many hell beings suffering from being cut, chopped, beaten, boiled, and so on, and they asked: "Who are you?" The manifested beings said: "We are hell beings." There they saw a huge iron pot boiling, but there was no one being boiled inside. Seeing this, they asked: "Why is this iron pot boiling for no reason?" The manifested beings said: "This is not for no reason, but the two sons of Ānanda's sister, after becoming monks, enjoy the offerings of faith but are lazy, and after they die, they will be born here."

就成了。为了那两个的缘故，铁的陶罐正在沸腾着。然后听到那话之后，那两个孩子生起了极大的恐惧。那两个又怕又害怕，就到具寿大目犍连子那里去了。然后大目犍连子见到那两个，就问道：两个孩子，这巨大的声音是从哪里来的？然后那两个孩子对具寿大目犍连子详细地讲述了一切。然后大目犍连子对那两个说：两个孩子，如果我跟你们说，你们两个不会相信我的。现在这件事你们两个已经亲眼见到了，因此，你们两个要那样做，才不会转生到有情地狱。然后听到那话之后，那两个孩子就开始努力学习了。然后那两个如果早上想起有情地狱的痛苦，那两个就会把食物吐出来。如果下午想起，就会把吃下去的东西也吐出来。因为那个缘故，那两个变得虚弱、消瘦、苍白，身体也没有力气了。然后具寿阿难陀见到那两个，就问具寿大目犍连子：尊者大目犍连子， 为什么这两个孩子变得虚弱、消瘦、苍白，身体也没有力气了？然后具寿大目犍连子对他详细地讲述了一切。然后具寿阿难陀对他说道：这两个太不高兴了，如果被忧愁折磨就会生病的，应该让他们高兴起来。目犍连子说：就按照你希望的那样做吧。说完，具寿大目犍连子对那两个孩子说：拿着坐垫去散步吧。那两个说：圣者，我们两个散步就够了。我们两个就在这里学习。大目犍连子说：两个孩子，我们不是去那个散步的地方，而是去其他的地方散步。说完，就带着那两个孩子去其他的地方散步了。具寿大目犍连子让他们高兴

It became. For the sake of those two, the iron pot is boiling. Then, as soon as they heard that, the two boys felt great fear. The two were frightened and scared, and went to the Venerable Great Maudgalyāyana. Then the Great Maudgalyāyana saw the two and asked, "Two boys, where did this great sound come from?" Then the two boys told the Venerable Great Maudgalyāyana everything in detail. Then the Great Maudgalyāyana said to the two, "Two boys, if I told you, you two would not believe me. Now that you two have seen this matter with your own eyes, therefore, you two must do that so that you will not be reborn in the sentient hell." Then, as soon as they heard that, the two boys began to study diligently. Then, if the two remembered the suffering of sentient hell in the morning, the two would vomit their food. If they remembered in the afternoon, they would vomit whatever they had eaten. Because of that, the two became weak, thin, pale, and had no strength in their bodies. Then the Venerable Ānanda saw the two and asked the Venerable Great Maudgalyāyana, "Venerable Great Maudgalyāyana, Why have these two boys become weak, thin, pale, and have no strength in their bodies?" Then the Venerable Great Maudgalyāyana told him everything in detail. Then the Venerable Ānanda said to him, "These two are too unhappy, if they are tormented by sorrow they will become ill, they should be made happy." Maudgalyāyana said, "Let it be done as you wish." Having said that, the Venerable Great Maudgalyāyana said to the two boys, "Let's go for a walk with the mat." The two said, "Holy One, it is enough for us two to walk. We two are here and want to study." The Great Maudgalyāyana said, "Two boys, we are not going to that walking place, but to another place to walk." Having said that, he took the two boys and went to another place to walk. The Venerable Great Maudgalyāyana made them happy.
