This is the essence of the sutra! For example, in the world, there are six kinds, such as the four great elements, which are inconceivable. What are the six? The great earth, the great water, the great fire, and the great wind, these are the four great elements, and the sun and emptiness, these are the six. Among them, this sutra is like the great earth, which can bear all things, clean and unclean, good and bad, large and small. Also, this sutra is like the great water, which can wash away all unclean things and defilements. Also, this sutra is like the great fire, which can burn all the impurities of karma and afflictions. Also, this sutra is like the great wind, which can scatter all the impurities of karma and afflictions. Also, this sutra is like the sun, which can illuminate all the darkness of ignorance. Also, this sutra is like the empty sky, which can accommodate all things. This Mahayana sutra, perfected by great enlightenment, is unparalleled in its vastness, and can accommodate bodhisattvas and even shravakas, as well as all beings in the desire realm, form realm, and formless realm. Therefore, you should uphold this sutra and spread it widely. You should believe in and respect this sutra, so that you and other Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas can always understand the wisdom of the Buddha and see the self-nature of the Tathagata. You, the kings of gods, those who receive and uphold this sutra, should always see me and all the future Buddhas manifest enlightenment and turn the great wheel of Dharma. Then, in the assembly of many retinues, a bodhisattva named Adhimukti (信乐) rose from his seat, dressed well, bowed his head to the feet of the Bhagavan, and said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, we, for the benefit and happiness of many beings, request you to grant permission.

Please listen. Then, the Blessed One spoke to the Bodhisattva named Delightful Name, saying: Delightful Name, it is good, good that you have requested for the benefit and happiness of many beings. Listen to what you have requested, and I will tell you. What you have requested is also for the benefit and happiness of immeasurable beings. Then, the Bodhisattva named Delightful Name said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, I remember in the past, just hearing the name of the Blessed One called Jeweled Crested One once, I obtained rebirth as a god. Later, not long after, in the kingdom of a king called Divine Empowerment Light, in a monastery, there was a large pond that had dried up, and inside there were ten thousand fish that were scorched by the sun and were about to die. A merchant's son named Water Giver saw those fish and developed a compassionate heart. He gave them water and food, knowing that they would not live long and their lives would not last. Then, the merchant's son Water Giver recited the name of the Blessed One Jeweled Crested One three times, and when those fish heard it, they immediately passed away and were reborn as gods in the Thirty-Three Heavens. Therefore, Blessed One, for the benefit of these retinues and future beings, please reveal and proclaim the names of the Buddhas. Just hearing the name of the Blessed One Shakyamuni, one can benefit immeasurable and inexpressible numbers of beings, attain happiness, always possess perfect enjoyment, find immeasurable treasures of merit, and in order to directly realize the nature of the Tathagata, and in order to completely liberate sentient beings whose root of morality has deteriorated and who are confused by afflictions, please teach. Then, the Blessed One spoke to the Bodhisattva named Delightful Name, saying: Son of good family, if I were to fully reveal the names of all the Buddhas in the ten directions, even if I were to reveal them for hundreds of thousands of millions of kalpas, there would be no end to it.

。The number of all water drops can be counted and known, but the names of all Buddhas cannot be counted and known. Mount Meru can also be measured and counted with a scale, but the names of all Buddha Bhagavan cannot be spoken and known. All the dust of all worlds can be counted and known, but the names of all Buddha Bhagavan cannot be spoken and known. The realm and boundary of the sky can be known, but the names of all Buddha Bhagavan cannot be spoken and known. Therefore, I will show you a brief summary of the names of the Buddhas and Bhagavan of the three times, past, present, and future. If someone hears these names even once, that person will be reborn in the heavenly realm immediately after death. Having heard it, generate faith and respect, and write it down, or recite the names and prostrate, One can eliminate the heavy sins of countless cycles of rebirth, and obtain immeasurable merit. Even if that person's life comes to an end, they can be reborn in the pure lands of the Buddhas of the ten directions as they wish, and they can also see me, and they can also see the Buddhas of the future Good Kalpa. Then, the Bhagavan said to the many retinues: If you want to hear the Dharma, please dress properly, straighten your bodies, keep your minds undistracted, your memory unfailing, concentrate intently, and join your palms with one mind. Respectfully prostrate to the Tathagata Mount Meru Lamp King. Respectfully prostrate to the Tathagata Jewel King. Respectfully prostrate to the Tathagata Jewel Victor.
