Its nature is without arrogance, without giving, without darkness, without light, without non-attention, without duality, without suchness, without elaboration, like an image without distinction, contemplate it as without substance. The four great elements are extremely non-discriminating, and are seen as exhaustion and bubbles. In these ways, contemplate form as without substance, like an image. From no nature to no sign, one truly sees all conditioned phenomena as the nature of exhaustion. Whatever is the nature of exhaustion is impermanent. Whatever is impermanent is without discrimination. Whatever is without discrimination is suffering. Whatever is unborn is also without self. Whatever is separated from the path of words of all conditioned phenomena is also emptiness. Just as the emptiness of inner and outer forms is like a bubble, so knowing this well, the afflictions of the highest, middle, and lowest also become pacified. Just as space is inexhaustible, formless, and cannot be shown, so too, being inexhaustible, without nature, formless, and cannot be shown, like a bubble, impermanent, suffering, without self, the nature of emptiness, cultivating patience that is free from the nature of focusing on this, this is also seen as the near cause for a Bodhisattva to fully ripen sentient beings. Son of the lineage, furthermore, the nature of the four great elements of form, from the inner to the near, whatever is said, the nature of that form is like an eye disease, like a shadow, like a bubble without a place to dwell, like space without accumulation, unspeakable, without suchness, even the cycle of the three realms is like no-self, obtaining the nature of the three times, without object, without letters, the limit of non-duality, the limit of permanence, the limit of pervasive grasping, the limit of inexhaustible conduct, the limit of no affliction, the limit of no object, the limit of no pervasive going, the limit of no speech, like an image, one thoroughly knows the nature of that form. The appearance of form in both the desire realm and the form realm is like space.

It should be regarded as an illusion. The nature of eye-flower (mIg yor) is like the sky, not focused on things, just as the sky cannot be grasped and nothing arises from it. Things do not exist, and similarly, the nature of form is like eye-flower, a place without separation from this shore and the other shore. The nature of form is the nature of equality, like an echo, like a collection of bubbles, it is the Dharmadhatu, the echo of form in the realm of space is without realm, without difference, without equality, and without disturbance. Likewise, these dharmas are also like the sky. The appearance of form is also ungraspable, unaccumulated, unborn, unarisen, unmoving, unchanging, undeath, unstaying, not taking self and other, completely non-discriminating, without attachment, without fabrication, all are the appearance of form. Likewise, the path of all actions has been completely transcended, the path of eye consciousness arises completely, the appearance of form like a collection of bubbles, the emptiness of eye consciousness, is also the cause of the arising of the four great elements of the eye. Because of selflessness, the four great elements are also emptiness, as mentioned above, there is also no clinging to self. The two eyes are the size of grapes, and each eye contains countless extremely small particles. The extremely small particles also contain the four great elements, etc. If each of the four great elements cannot be clung to as self, nor can it be clung to as sentient beings, then what need is there to mention the place of consciousness or the path of arising? For those extremely small particles, just like gathering the four great elements of the eye, it should be regarded as the size of a grape. Looking at it this way, there is also no place or path for eye consciousness in it. Looking at it correctly in this way, the eyes of sentient beings will also be seen as they are. If someone truly knows the emptiness of eye consciousness, they will be free from desire. If someone truly understands the emptiness of eye consciousness, then
