在何处放光，天与人们如此命名。金刚慧，彼薄伽梵如来应供正等觉恒常放光者，最初现证菩提之教法中，出现一位名为无边光之菩萨，具有千名侍者。金刚慧，彼菩萨无边光以此如来藏之法类为始，向薄伽梵如来应供正等觉恒常放光者请问。之后，薄伽梵如来应供正等觉恒常放光者，为了摄受和完全摄受那些菩萨，于一坐之上安住五百大劫，如实宣说此如来藏之法类。他以词句明辨之法修行此如来藏之法类，以决定之词和无数譬喻，为那些菩萨如实宣说，因此在十方如来刹土中，如十俱胝佛土微尘数之世界，也极易理解。金刚慧，其中哪些菩萨听闻此如来藏之法类，乃至听闻“如来藏”之名者，彼等一切逐渐成熟善根，于如是功德庄严中，现证无上正等菩提，唯除四位菩萨摩诃萨。金刚慧，彼时彼刻，你心中莫以为彼时成为无边光菩萨者是他人，金刚慧，你自身即是彼时彼刻成为无边光菩萨者。薄伽梵之教法中，谁等如今仍将现证无上正等菩提，

Where light is emitted, gods and men named it thus. Vajra Wisdom, in the teachings of that Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha, who constantly emits light, when he first attained complete enlightenment, there appeared a Bodhisattva named Infinite Light, who had a thousand attendants. Vajra Wisdom, that Bodhisattva Infinite Light, beginning with this category of Dharma of the Tathagatagarbha, asked the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha who constantly emits light. Then, the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha, who constantly emits light, in order to embrace and fully embrace those Bodhisattvas, remained on one seat for five hundred great kalpas, and truly expounded this category of Dharma of the Tathagatagarbha. He practiced this category of Dharma of the Tathagatagarbha with words that can be clearly distinguished, and with definitive words and countless metaphors, he truly expounded it to those Bodhisattvas, so that in the ten directions, in the realms of the Buddhas, in the worlds as numerous as the dust particles of ten kotis of Buddha-fields, it became easy to understand with little effort. Vajra Wisdom, among them, whichever Bodhisattvas hear this category of Dharma of the Tathagatagarbha, even those who hear the name "Tathagatagarbha," all of them will gradually mature their roots of virtue, and in such a glorious array of qualities, they will manifest the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, except for the four Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. Vajra Wisdom, at that time, do not think in your heart that the one who became the Bodhisattva Infinite Light at that time was someone else. What are the four bodhisattvas who have not yet attained enlightenment? For example: Bodhisattva Manjushri, Mahasthamaprapta, Avalokiteśvara, and Vajramati, you are those four. Vajramati, just hearing this category of Dharma of the Tathagatagarbha, like this, is of great significance for bodhisattvas and great beings to accomplish the wisdom of the Buddha. Then, at that time, the Bhagavan spoke these verses: In the past, in immeasurable kalpas, there was a Bhagavan named Emit Light. From his body came such light that a hundred thousand lands became illuminated. The Victorious One who first attained perfect enlightenment, the Bodhisattva Infinite Light, at that time asked the Sugata Victorious One, this sutra should be constantly and correctly proclaimed. Whoever directly hears this sutra from the teachings of that Buddha, they will quickly attain supreme enlightenment. Except for the four bodhisattvas, Mahasthamaprapta and Avalokiteśvara, the third is Bodhisattva Manjushri, and the fourth is Vajramati, you.
