Transformation in the assembly. Even if the object of generosity is small, if one does not dwell on the five desires, it can be transformed into a true field of merit for Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Therefore, abandoning the five desires, constantly performing pure giving, and bringing happiness to all sentient beings, it can be transformed into a true field of merit. Son of good family, furthermore, the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva possesses ten kinds of wheels of great armor of Dharma giving. If the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva is endowed with this wheel, from the initial generation of bodhicitta, in order to completely eliminate the five desires, he quickly obtains the Samādhi called "Light of the Sun Lamp," and far surpasses all Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, becoming a vast field of merit for all Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and is worshiped, protected, and revered by all practitioners of the Śrāvaka and Pratyekabuddha vehicles. What are the ten? They are the sacred Dharma taught by the Tathāgatas, the sacred Dharma corresponding to the Śrāvaka vehicle, the sacred Dharma corresponding to the Pratyekabuddha vehicle, the sacred Dharma corresponding to the Mahāyāna vehicle, worldly Dharma, transmundane Dharma, Dharma with outflows, Dharma without outflows, conditioned Dharma, unconditioned Dharma, and non-dual Dharma. The Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva generates faith and reverence for these ten kinds of Dharma, strives to uphold the Dharma he has heard, remembers it, contemplates it well, ultimately understands and comprehends it, and explains it to others as appropriate. When teaching the Dharma, one should have a mind without jealousy, a mind without stinginess, a mind without arrogance, a mind without seeking gain, a mind without slandering others, a mind without praising oneself, with a mind of respect, a mind of benefit, a mind of great love, and a mind of great compassion. For a person of the Śrāvaka vehicle, one teaches and explains the Dharma of the Śrāvakas, but not with the Dharma of the Pratyekabuddhas or the Dharma of the Mahāyāna, and the Pratyekabuddhas.
