, by completely abandoning harsh language, one becomes a vessel praised by the world; by not speaking frivolous words, one is not enslaved; by completely abandoning greed, one finds a great treasure; by completely abandoning harmful intentions, one becomes a foundation; by completely abandoning wrong views, one is trusted by all the world; by practicing the vast Dharma, one possesses the ten powers; by not expecting the fruition of all giving, one obtains non-retrogression from the Buddha's Dharma; by completely abandoning all clinging, one obtains fearlessness. Son of good family, even if I were to teach the conduct of a Bodhisattva for an eon or more than an eon, it would not be exhausted. Thus, the conduct of Bodhisattvas is immeasurable; this is called the conduct of a Bodhisattva. Son of good family, thus, conduct and field of activity are perfect. Thus, a Bodhisattva with perfect conduct and field of activity is not one who thinks that the Buddha's Bodhi is difficult to attain. The son of the gods, Good Mind, asked: Blessed One, how is a Bodhisattva said to possess mindfulness? The Blessed One replied: Son of the gods, whoever is a Bodhisattva who always does not abandon samadhi, and also does not take birth by the power of samadhi, and having turned away from samadhi, takes birth wherever there is work to be done for the benefit of sentient beings, son of good family, thus, it is said that a Bodhisattva possesses mindfulness. The son of the gods, Good Mind, asked: Blessed One, how is a Bodhisattva said to be solitary? The Blessed One replied: Son of the gods, whatever Bodhisattva sees all suchness, the true limit, and the realm of Dharma, even if he goes into the midst of many people, he should be known as solitary. Son of good family, thus, it is said that a Bodhisattva is solitary. Not engaging the mind in any two things, that is called truly solitary.
