吉祥！如同恒河中五十条支流的沙粒数量般的微尘，以微尘的百万、千万、亿、兆、无数倍数量的世间，比世间海洋的微尘还要少。相比之下，菩萨众以五种波罗蜜多为善根，在无数劫中修持，即使是对这部法门心生欢喜的菩萨，哪怕是对转生为畜生道的众生布施一口饭或一杯酒，也能胜过那些菩萨以五种波罗蜜多为善根的功德。文殊菩萨，譬如上弦月十五的半夜时分，月亮的圆满光辉如此高大、无与伦比、巨大，以至于压倒了所有的星辰，明亮、闪耀、光芒四射。文殊菩萨，同样地，对这部法门心生欢喜的菩萨，其善根如此高大、无与伦比、巨大，以至于压倒了所有世间如微尘般菩萨以五种波罗蜜多为善根的功德，明亮、闪耀、光芒四射。文殊菩萨，相比之下，如果菩萨对三千大千世界中的所有众生，用棍棒击打或用兵器伤害，并抢夺他们的一切财物，不如另一位菩萨对菩萨生起嗔恨心、嫉妒心、愤怒心，甚至生起轻蔑心，这会增长更多的罪恶。为什么呢？因为菩萨对菩萨生起嗔恨心、嫉妒心、愤怒心和轻蔑心，就等于做了使佛法衰败的行为，等于完全接受了非法。完全接受非法，就是断绝佛种。如果没有佛陀出现，四大天王的天众就不会出现，三十三天众，无诤天众，兜率天众也不会出现。

Auspicious! Like the fine dust of the sands of fifty Ganges rivers, the worlds of millions, billions, trillions, and countless times the number of fine dust particles of the ocean worlds are extremely few. Compared to that, the roots of virtue of the ocean of Bodhisattvas arising from the five perfections, cultivated for immeasurable and countless eons, even a Bodhisattva who rejoices in this Dharma, even giving a mouthful of food or a cup of beer to a being born in the animal realm, will overwhelm the roots of virtue of those Bodhisattvas arising from the five perfections. Manjushri, for example, at midnight on the fifteenth day of the waxing moon, the orb of the moon is so high, incomparable, and large that it overwhelms all the constellations, shining brightly, brilliantly, and radiantly. Manjushri, similarly, a Bodhisattva who rejoices in this Dharma, with such high, incomparable, and great roots of virtue, overwhelms the roots of virtue of all the Bodhisattvas in all the worlds, as numerous as dust particles, arising from the five perfections, shining brightly, brilliantly, and radiantly. Manjushri, compared to a Bodhisattva who strikes all sentient beings belonging to the three-thousand great-thousand world system with sticks or injures them with weapons, and plunders all their possessions, if another Bodhisattva generates harmful thoughts, jealousy, and anger towards a Bodhisattva, and even generates contempt, this will increase much more sin. Why is that? Because a Bodhisattva generating harmful thoughts, jealousy, anger, and contempt towards a Bodhisattva is equivalent to doing an act that causes the Dharma to decline, equivalent to fully embracing non-Dharma. Fully embracing non-Dharma is cutting off the lineage of the Buddhas. If the Buddhas do not appear, the hosts of the Four Great Kings will not appear, nor will the Thirty-three, the No-Conflict, or the Joyful.
