and also clings to the feeling of pleasure. It also clings to the feeling of suffering. It also generates attachment to the feeling that is neither pleasure nor pain. Because it is bound by all kinds of feelings, it revolves in samsara, continuously from one body to another. Because of the afflictions of feeling, it does not know the true nature of the aggregate of feeling as it is. We should not imitate the actions of foolish ordinary people, but should examine and analyze the aggregate of feeling as it is. At that time, observing the aggregate of feeling as it is, one will recognize that the non-aggregate is the aggregate of feeling, the unreal aggregate is the aggregate of feeling, the inverted aggregate is the aggregate of feeling, and the unstable aggregate is the aggregate of feeling. At that time, one can truly see the true nature of the aggregate of feeling, without fabrication, without an agent, and one does not see the characteristics of the aggregate of feeling in the aggregate of feeling. When observing the aggregate of feeling in this way, one does not see the aggregate of feeling residing within, nor does one see the aggregate of feeling residing outside. One does not cling to "feeling is me," nor does one cling to "feeling is mine." Therefore, for the aggregate of feeling, from any aspect, there is no master in the future, knowing that it is not produced by any dharma. Knowing that feeling is accompanied by inversion, and that it is named the aggregate of feeling from the maturation of the fruits of previous karma. Seeing that the aggregate of feeling continuously operates with unreal causes and conditions. At that time, one does not accept, cling to, or become infatuated with the past aggregate of feeling. One also does not accept, cling to, or become infatuated with the future aggregate of feeling. One also does not accept, cling to, or become infatuated with the present aggregate of feeling. That person can eliminate the all-pervasive defilement of desire from the feeling of pleasure. He eliminates the all-pervasive defilement of hatred from the feeling of suffering. He eliminates the all-pervasive defilement of ignorance from the feeling that is neither pleasure nor pain, and thus exerts great effort. At that time, when that Bodhisattva experiences the feeling of pleasure, he does not generate a mind of desire. The suffering of
