The ray of light called "Completely Abandoning" enables sentient beings abiding in the path of the ten non-virtuous actions to attain the path of the ten virtuous actions. The ray of light called "Knowing Shame" enables intoxicated sentient beings to regain mindfulness. The ray of light called "Eliminating" enables sentient beings with wrong views to attain right views. The ray of light called "Completely Giving" enables miserly sentient beings to attain generosity. The ray of light called "Completely Without Torment" enables sentient beings with evil conduct to attain moral discipline. The ray of light called "Having Benefit" enables sentient beings with harmful thoughts to attain patience and loving-kindness. The ray of light called "Having Radiance" enables lazy sentient beings to attain diligence. The ray of light called "One-Pointed" enables sentient beings who have lost mindfulness to attain meditative concentration. The ray of light called "Wisdom" enables sentient beings with perverse wisdom to attain wisdom. The ray of light called "Untroubled" enables sentient beings without faith to attain faith. The ray of light called "Universally Holding" enables sentient beings with little learning to attain learning. The ray of light called "Endowed with Conduct" enables sentient beings without shame or fear to attain knowing shame and having a sense of propriety.

亦然转变。名为“悲悯”的光芒，将摧毁众生贪欲的行为。名为“喜悦”的光芒，将摧毁众生嗔恨的行为。名为“光明”的光芒，将使众生愚痴的行为领悟缘起。名为“周遍”的光芒，将使众生平等行为舍弃平等行为。具有网的光芒，如来具有名为“示现一切形象”的光芒。此光芒所触及的众生，将能看见如来之身，具有各种颜色，多种颜色， 成百上千种颜色，更加殊胜。具有网的光芒，我赞叹如来的光芒，即使讲述一劫，或超过一劫，也无法穷尽如来光芒所具有的法。因此，如来、阿罗汉、正等觉，具有无量无边的光芒功德。如是宣说之后，菩萨具网光向世尊如此禀告：世尊，如此示现如来之身的无量庄严，以及具有不可思议善巧方便的教法，真是稀有！世尊，这些光芒我们以前从未听闻。如世尊所说，我所理解的意义是：世尊，任何菩萨听闻这些光芒的名字，并生起信心，他们都将具有被如此如来正等觉的光芒照耀的力量。世尊，又如来以何种光芒，能立即劝请其他佛土的菩萨来到这个娑婆世界，以及哪些菩萨在提问、授记和说法上达到究竟，前来向如来请教、恭敬供养，并再次请教。

The ray called "light" will cause the behavior of sentient beings who are ignorant to understand dependent origination. The ray called "all-pervading" will cause sentient beings who practice equality to abandon the practice of equality. The light with a net, the Tathagata has a ray called "showing all forms." The sentient beings touched by this ray will be able to see the body of the Tathagata, with various colors, many colors, Hundreds and thousands of colors, even more excellent. The light with a net, I praise the light of the Tathagata, even if I speak for a kalpa, or more than a kalpa, I cannot exhaust the Dharma possessed by the light of the Tathagata. Therefore, the Tathagata, Arhat, perfectly enlightened Buddha, has immeasurable and boundless merits of light. After saying this, the Bodhisattva with the net of light reported to the Blessed One: Blessed One, it is rare to show the immeasurable adornment of the body of the Tathagata in this way, and the teaching with inconceivable skillful means! Blessed One, we have never heard of these rays before. As the Blessed One said, the meaning I understand is: Blessed One, any Bodhisattva who hears the names of these rays and generates faith, they will all have the power to be illuminated by the light of such a Tathagata, perfectly enlightened Buddha. Blessed One, what kind of light does the Tathagata use to immediately urge the Bodhisattvas of other Buddha lands to come to this Saha world, and which Bodhisattvas have reached the ultimate in asking questions, giving predictions, and speaking Dharma, come to ask the Tathagata for advice, respectfully make offerings, and ask again.

Please send down the light called "Urging Bodhisattvas with Radiant Light." Then, the Bhagavan immediately emitted such a light from his body, a light that could illuminate the boundless and limitless world. As soon as the Bodhisattvas were urged by that light, they immediately went to this Sahā world. Then, from this Buddha-field to the east, passing through hundreds of thousands of Buddha-fields equal to the sands of seventy-two Ganges rivers, there is a world called "Completely Pure." There, there is a Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha, named Lunar Light, who now dwells, lives, and exists, and only teaches the Dharma to Bodhisattvas. From that Buddha-field, a non-regressing Bodhisattva, a great being named Brahma Distinguished Mind, as soon as he was urged by that light, immediately went to the Bhagavan Tathāgata Lunar Light. After he arrived, he bowed his head at the feet of the Bhagavan, and then said to the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, what is the cause of this great light appearing in the world? What are the conditions?" The Bhagavan replied: "Brahma, from this Buddha-field to the west, passing through hundreds of thousands of Buddha-fields equal to the sands of seventy-two Ganges rivers, there is a world called Sahā. There, there is a Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha, named Shakyamuni, who now dwells, lives, and exists, and teaches the Dharma. That Tathāgata is like this, in order to gather the Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, he emits this light from his body." Then, Brahma Distinguished Mind said to the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, if you wish me to see that Tathāgata, I will go to the Sahā world to see, bow down to, serve, honor, inquire, and re-inquire of the Bhagavan Shakyamuni." The Bhagavan replied: "Brahma, there are now countless Bodhisattvas in the Sahā world."
