Thinking of the earth in mind, the wheel is well established on foot, the immovable foot can overcome, the vajra foot can overcome, the foot can overcome the three realms, joy and, quick courage, courage unceasing, courage blessed, soft sound, universally benefiting sentient beings, Brahma's sound, good protection, Ratnasambhava, good guide, human giving, water deity, Maitreya, Manjushri, Bodhisattva Mahasattva Manjushri Kumara and other seventy-two thousand Bodhisattvas were together. Why? In this realm of the three thousand great thousand worlds, Indra and, Brahma and, the world protectors and, other gods, dragons, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, humans and non-humans, in order to see the Blessed One, to pay homage, to make offerings, and to listen to the Dharma, gathered in that assembly and stayed. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva named Heavenly Crown, who was gathered in that assembly, knowing that the great assembly of Bodhisattvas had gathered, arose from his seat, bared one shoulder, bowed his head to the feet of the Blessed One, circumambulated the Blessed One three times, knelt on his right knee, and with palms joined together towards the Blessed One, praised the Blessed One with these verses: Transcending the world, making the lamp of the world, you are the wise one who benefits the world, having attained light and removed the defilements of affliction, I prostrate to you, the lamp of the world. Rejoicing in generosity and possessing the ten supreme powers, the tamer who tames has reached the other shore, Blessed One, worshipped by gods, humans, and dragons, I prostrate to you, the ultimate in taming. The excellent marks benefit many beings, the fathom-long light is like the color of gold, possessing the supreme form of auspicious marks, I prostrate to you, the unequaled in the three existences.
