That yoga which is equal to the realm of Dharma and without cessation is the yoga that corresponds to this dharani. Lord of Nagas, in brief, the yoga that completely knows the eighty-four thousand conducts, and the yoga that does not correspond to the realm of Dharma, that is the yoga that corresponds to this dharani. Lord of Nagas, furthermore, whatever yoga there is, and whatever non-yoga dharma there is, for that, there is neither correspondence nor non-correspondence. Why is that? Because that yoga is neither appearance, nor discrimination, nor characterized by signs. Therefore, that yoga is the true yoga. The true yoga also does not lead any dharma, nor does it not lead, does not grasp, nor does it abandon, does not abide, nor does it go. Therefore, that yoga is called the true yoga. Lord of Nagas, a Bodhisattva who practices yoga in this way will obtain this inexhaustible treasure of dharani. Then, at that time, the Bhagavan spoke these verses: When he obtains this dharani, his memory and wisdom will be completely pure. He will go beyond all the realizations of the Sutras, and will also know well the languages and sounds of beings. He will know the minds and evil deeds of beings, as well as the causes of good and mediocre. Having known the conduct and the continuum of the mind, he will also teach the words of the Dharma as appropriate. When he is skilled in the dharani, he is also skilled in cause, agent, and condition. He will not fall into eternalism and nihilism, and has completely abandoned all clinging to extremes. When he obtains this dharani, he is also skilled in distinguishing letters and words. He knows many different languages, and is also skilled in meaning and letters. His divine eye will also become stainless, and his divine ear will also be completely pure. His wisdom is boundless, he is skilled in the minds of others, and remembers past and future kalpas. Likewise, having obtained the miraculous feet, he travels in an instant through countless billions of Buddha-fields. He makes offerings to the guides of the world, and likewise, by hearing the dharani, he also holds the Dharma. Hundreds of thousands of demons, as many as there are, cannot hinder his going.

Not knowing the lands, eliminating darkness, beings are pure, without afflictions. Teaching immeasurable thousands of sutras. Just as a lotus in water is not stained, so he practices in the world without being stained by worldly dharmas. Always liberated from attachment and anger, his mind is equal like the sky to all beings in the world. The holy one of names, possessing a pure form, beings are never satisfied looking at him. Conduct and actions proceed with awareness, benefiting beings and walking in the world. When one obtains this dharani, like Indra, Brahma, and the protectors of the world, they respectfully bow at his feet. Yet, his mind is not filled with pride. He possesses the sweet voice of Brahma, delighting the minds of beings. Without fault, sweet, pure, and speaking at the right time, his teachings are never in vain. When he obtains this dharani, he has no fear in the assembly. Like a lion's roar, he proclaims fearlessly, utterly destroying all opposing groups. Beings who are deceitful, difficult to tame, arrogant, and conceited, those with pride and faults, if they obtain the wisdom of the wise, they will abandon pride and bow at his feet. The essence of dharma is naturally peaceful, understanding the meaning and the nature of dharma. Therefore, when deciding on dharmas and explaining letters, his words never run out. The nature of beings is naturally pure, and so is the essence of dharma. He also knows that self-nature is naturally pure. Thus, knowing the tathagatagarbha of beings, his teachings are unobstructed. Exhaustion can never exhaust it, and what is inexhaustible will never be exhausted. Having realized this most peaceful nature of dharma, he teaches countless millions of sutras there. These letters do not reside in the body, do not reside in the mind, and do not arise from the mind. Like hearing the echo of a valley, the nature of letters is empty and desolate. This dharani is not in letters or sounds, nor in the path of speech, body, or language. Thus, having understood the nature of letters, even when speaking, his words are unobstructed. Even when teaching, he has no conceptual thoughts in his mind, nor does he have any pride in his mind. However, it is for the sake of understanding this dharma.
