That is Dharma. What is the reason for that? World Honored One, all dharmas are not Dharma because of clinging. That which is without clinging is Dharma. World Honored One, all dharmas that possess the concept of both Dharma and non-Dharma are non-Dharma. World Honored One, all dharmas that possess complete understanding of concepts are Dharma. World Honored One, if explained in the ultimate sense, Dharma and non-Dharma are not visible. For one who has neither the concept of Dharma nor the concept of non-Dharma, there is nothing that can be considered Dharma. For one who has nothing that can be considered Dharma, that is non-end. That which is not an end is the true end. What is the reason for that? The end of space is the true end, because space has no limiting end whatsoever. Just as space has no limiting end whatsoever, so too all dharmas have no limiting end whatsoever. Therefore, all dharmas are called the end of space. World Honored One, those Bodhisattvas who, having heard this explanation of the true end, acknowledge it as truly being so, do not acknowledge that there is a division into two in any Dharma. World Honored One, I have not truly seen any Dharma that, by completely grasping the Dharma, demonstrates the grasping of the Holy Dharma. World Honored One, if I explain it in this way, is it like the Tathagata speaking, teaching the Dharma, and prophesying the Dharma that accords with the Dharma? Or is it prophesying with a true prophecy? World Honored One, the Buddha replied: Son of good family, it is true. It is the Tathagata speaking, teaching the Dharma, and prophesying the Dharma that accords with the Dharma. It is prophesying with a true prophecy. Son of good family, when the Bodhisattva Dharma teacher speaks this prophecy, in that assembly of gods, hundreds of thousands of sons of gods attained the forbearance of Dharma that accords with it. King of Qualities, do you doubt or hesitate, or have a divided mind, thinking that the Bodhisattva who was then, who was called a Dharma teacher, is another person? Do not look at it that way.

What is the reason for that? O King of Qualities, Light, at that time and at that moment, you became a bodhisattva named Dharma Speaker. Therefore, O King of Qualities, Light, I entrust to you this unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment that I have accomplished over countless billions of eons. For the sake of receiving, holding, fully understanding, and also for the sake of extensively and accurately showing it to others, I entrust it to you in front of this assembly. As soon as the Bhagavan spoke these words, sixty billion bodhisattvas rose from their seats and, with one voice, said: "Bhagavan, we will receive this enlightenment of the Tathagata." After they made this request, the Bhagavan spoke these words to those bodhisattvas: "Sons of noble family, abiding in what kind of Dharma will you hold this enlightenment that I have accomplished over countless billions of eons?" Then, the bodhisattva named King of Mountains, having gathered there and being seated, said this to the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, by considering body and life, one cannot fully receive the sacred Dharma. Bhagavan, I will not consider body and life, and thus I will fully receive the sacred Dharma of the Bhagavan." The bodhisattva named King of Glorious Accumulation said this: "Bhagavan, by hoping for gain, respect, and offerings, one cannot fully receive the sacred Dharma. Bodhisattva Lightning-flash requested: O Blessed One, one cannot completely uphold the true Dharma with wisdom dependent on others. O Blessed One, may I, without relying on others for all dharmas, obtain manifest wisdom, and thus completely uphold the true Dharma. Bodhisattva All-hidden requested: O Blessed One, one cannot completely uphold the true Dharma with ordinary faculties and a deluded mind. O Blessed One, may I completely hide and completely subdue all faculties, doors, and sources of origination, and thus completely uphold the true Dharma. Bodhisattva Light Without Stain requested: O Blessed One, one cannot completely uphold the true Dharma by having the perception of difference between beings and dharmas. O Blessed One, may I obtain equanimity towards all beings and obtain equality towards all dharmas, and thus completely uphold the true Dharma. Bodhisattva Superior Conduct requested: O Blessed One, one cannot completely uphold the true Dharma with a mind that is not in equipoise and is distracted. O Blessed One, may I completely uphold the true Dharma with a mind that is in equipoise and is not distracted. Bodhisattva Merchant Leader requested: O Blessed One, one cannot completely uphold the true Dharma by not knowing the ritual of knowing the path and entering the wrong path. O Blessed One, may I know the ritual of knowing the path and thoroughly establish beings on the correct path from the wrong path, and thus completely uphold the true Dharma.
