Has bathed. Has unloaded the burden. Has obtained one's own benefit. Has completely exhausted all combinations in existence. With correct wisdom, the mind is completely liberated. Completely liberated with wisdom. Called the ascetic who has reached the holy other shore of all the powers of the mind. Called a Brahmin. Called the one who has bathed. Called the one who has gone to the other shore. Called the one who knows. Called the one with purity. Called the son of the Buddha. Called the son of Shakya. Called the one who has pulled out thorns. Called the one who has not broken the precepts. Called the one who has broken through the abyss. Called the one who has crossed the abyss. Called the one who has pulled out the sting. Called the one who is without disease. Called a Bhikshu. Called the one without entanglements. Called a man. Called a holy man. Called a supreme man. Called a great man. Called a lion among men. Called an elephant among men. Called a wise man. Called a man of weight. Called a brave man. Called a man of great strength. Called a flower among men. Called a lotus among men. Called a white lotus among men. Called a tamer among men. Called a moon among men. Called a man who is not an ordinary man. Called the one who is not stained. Then, the Bhagavan, in order to show this category of Dharma that enters into the forbearance of the profound Dharma, spoke these verses: When this world realm arises, and all the worlds become empty space, how it was before, so it is later, all dharmas should be known as such. Whatever exists in this world, this mass of water flows downwards. How it is downwards, so it is upwards, all dharmas should be known as such. Just as in the sky, slightly without clouds, in an instant, a circle of clouds appears. One should know from where it originally came, likewise, all dharmas should be known. After the Tathagata has passed into Nirvana, how an image appears as one wishes. How it was before, so it is later, all dharmas should be known as such. Just as many bubbles collide, the water flows

The wise person sees with certainty, But if examined, there seems to be no essence. Know all phenomena to be like that. Just as when a great raindrop falls, Bubbles of water arise separately, Having arisen, they vanish, and there are no water bubbles. Know all phenomena to be like that. Just as when a letter is sent to another town, Virtuous and non-virtuous deeds occur separately, But the sound does not transform into the letter. Know all phenomena to be like that. Just as when people are intoxicated with alcohol, They think this earth is spinning around, But this earth does not move or shake. Know all phenomena to be like that. On the surface of a mirror and in vessels of sesame oil, When a woman looks at her face adorned, A child develops attachment to it, And runs eagerly to seek desire. But the face has not moved there, And one never finds the face in the reflection. Just as those fools develop attachment, Know all phenomena to be like that. Just like a mirage, a city of gandharvas, Like an illusion, like a dream, Meditating on signs, empty of inherent nature. Know all phenomena to be like that. Just as the sky and the moon in the sky rise, And their reflection appears in a clear lake, But the moon has not moved into the water. Know all the characteristics of phenomena to be like that. Just as people sit in the midst of forests and mountains, Singing, speaking, laughing, and crying, And hear echoes but see nothing. Know all phenomena to be like that. Songs and music, and likewise crying, Though echoes arise based on them, There is never melody in the sound. Know all phenomena to be like that. Just as one indulges in desire in a dream, But a person does not see it after awakening, And children are very attached and cling to desire. Know all phenomena to be like that. Magicians conjure up forms, Creating horses, elephants, chariots, and various things, But there is nothing whatsoever that appears in them. Know all phenomena to be like that. Just as in a young girl's dream, She sees a male child born and die, And is happy when he is born and unhappy when he dies. Know all phenomena to be like that.
