Thereafter, in this way, he became manifestly and perfectly enlightened in unsurpassed, complete, and perfect enlightenment. Manjushri, the so-called nature of the Buddha is the supreme expression of the Dharmadhatu. The powers, the fearlessnesses, and the Buddha-dharmas included in the unmixed should also be understood as being solely the Dharmadhatu. I see the Dharmadhatu in this way: whether they are the dharmas of ordinary beings, or the dharmas of arhats, or the dharmas of solitary buddhas, or even the dharmas of buddhas, I do not truly see any difference between them. Why is that? Manjushri, that realm has no distinctions, it is the Dharmadhatu. The Dharmadhatu is the realm of the unmixed. Manjushri, for example, when rivers of different names, different colors, and different tastes flow into the ocean, it is impossible to distinguish them, saying, "This is the Ganges (藏文:གང་གཱ།)," or "This is the Sindhu (藏文:སི་ཏ།)," or "This is the Yamuna (藏文:ཡ་མུ་ན)." It is impossible to differentiate or distinguish them. Manjushri, likewise, even the dharmas of different names cannot be designated in the Dharmadhatu as "These are the dharmas of ordinary beings," or "These are the dharmas of shravakas, solitary buddhas, bodhisattvas, and buddhas." Manjushri, for example, just as various heaps of grains can be designated as "This is a heap of such-and-such grain," or "This is such-and-such," likewise, in the Dharmadhatu, it is impossible to designate "These are the dharmas of ordinary beings," or "These are the dharmas of shravakas, solitary buddhas, bodhisattvas, and buddhas." Manjushri, for example, just as various heaps of grains can be designated as "This is a heap of such-and-such grain," or "This is such-and-such," likewise, in the Dharmadhatu, it is impossible to designate "These are the dharmas of ordinary beings," "These are the dharmas of arhats," "These are the dharmas of solitary buddhas," "These are the dharmas of bodhisattvas," "These are the dharmas of buddhas." This is the Dharmadhatu, it is this.

Or, it is not possible to indicate or establish that it is in some place. Why is that? Like this, the realm of Dharma is invisible and cannot be indicated, because it is not something to be established, and because it is completely beyond establishment. I have shown that beings are such a realm, and if you believe that committing the five inexpiable sins is also such a realm, then you will not be completely defiled by afflictions. Why is that? Manjushri, the five inexpiable sins are equally equal to the realm of Dharma. Like this, the realm of the five inexpiable sins and the realm of Dharma, these two are non-dual and inseparable, because for these two, there is no coming, going, or arising. After the Blessed One said that, Manjushri Kumara said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, I have not seen the realm of Dharma go to the lower realms, or go to the higher realms, or go to Nirvana. The Buddha said: Manjushri, if someone asks you: How does your teacher establish the cycle of existence with the six realms? If asked that way, Manjushri, how would you answer? Manjushri said: Blessed One, if it is said that way, I will answer like this: For example, if a person whose sleep is disturbed sees in a dream hell beings, or the birth place of animals, or the realm of pretas, or the class of asuras, or the gods, or people. Blessed One, just as a person who dreams sees various things in a dream, but there are actually no various things in the dream, so although I have shown various different beings, the nature of the realm of Dharma cannot be established as different. Because it is like that, Blessed One, I will answer that question in that way. Blessed One, similarly, the complete Nirvana of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Shravakas cannot be established as different. Blessed One, the places where they dwell cannot be established as different. Why is that? Like this, the realm of Dharma
