Who could bind you? Like the unattached, faultless conduct, abiding nowhere, the immeasurable sky. There is no supreme example, nor are you counted as the supreme in the world. Possessing a mind like the sky, why do you, who are without sin, show a smile? From your face, various rays of light, blue, red, and white, emanate. Shining like immaculate gold, red rays arise like the sands of the Ganges. Countless realms equal to the expanse of the sky illuminate the worlds in all directions. All beings in the lower realms touched by the light of the Mighty One are pacified and filled with bliss. If the rays disappear into your knees, it foretells that you will become an Arhat. If the rays disappear into your arms, it indicates that you will become a Pratyekabuddha. Today, the immaculate light disappears into the crown of your head, O helpful Mighty One, Surely you will be prophesied to attain the all-knowing, equalizing vehicle. Therefore, you are better than the gods, worthy of worship by the gods, worthy of worship by the three realms. Many sentient beings who hear this will rejoice and their minds will be satisfied. The true and certain words will surely be spoken by the Victorious One. Why do you smile? Dispel doubts and delight your disciples. Having thus requested, the Blessed One spoke to the venerable Ananda, saying: Ananda, son of good family, do you see that the one called 'Victorious Intellect,' who has attained forbearance, is dwelling seven tala trees above in the sky, with palms joined, prostrating to me, and being worshipped by hundreds of thousands of gods? He replied: Blessed One, I see him. The Blessed One said: Ananda, son of good family, when this Victorious Intellect became a Chakravartin king, he generated roots of virtue from seventy-two kotis of Buddhas, and he also made offerings to all those Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, while they were dwelling and after they had passed into complete Nirvana. He practiced pure conduct under seventy-two kotis of Buddhas, and he always upheld the sacred Dharma. Ananda, son of good family, from now on, this Victorious Intellect will also please, respect, honor, serve, and make offerings to countless Tathagatas. He will also practice pure conduct and will lead immeasurable, countless sentient beings to enlightenment.

Who will I bring to maturity? In that future time, having perfectly practiced the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, after countless eons, in an eon called 'Adorned with Jewels,' in a world called 'Delightful to Behold,' the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, named Jnana-skandha, endowed with knowledge and conduct, Sugata, Knower of the World, Supreme Guide for those who need to be tamed, Teacher of gods and humans, Buddha, Bhagavan, will appear in the world. Ananda, the enjoyment of that world called 'Delightful to Behold' will be like that of the gods of Paranirmitavasavartin. In front of those beings, no undesirable dharma from the six sense objects will arise. When all those beings see each other, joy and happiness will arise. All those beings will see that Tathagata Jnana-skandha even in their dreams, and they will never be separated from the recollection of the Buddha, therefore that world is called 'Delightful to Behold.' In that eon, that Tathagata will appear alone, and the lifespan of that Tathagata will also be able to last for an eon, therefore that eon is also called 'Adorned with Jewels.' The Sangha of that Bhagavan will be only Bodhisattvas, and there will be ninety-two kotis of Bodhisattvas. All those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas are non-retreating, possessing unobstructed courage, and are skilled in the analysis of words. When that Tathagata Jnana-skandha passes into nirvana, he will also prophesy to the Bodhisattva named Lion's Swift Gait, saying: 'This noble son, the Bodhisattva Lion's Swift Gait, after me, will become the Tathagata named Lion's Roar,' and then pass into nirvana. After that Tathagata Jnana-skandha passes into nirvana, the sacred Dharma will remain for ten intermediate eons. The body of that Bhagavan will also not be destroyed, and beings will make offerings to it.

There will be a stupa made of precious jewels, sixty-four yojanas in circumference and eighty yojanas in height, entirely made of all kinds of precious jewels. Then, son of good family, Victorious Intellect descended from that space and bowed his head to the two feet of the Blessed One, circumambulated the Blessed One three times, and praised the Blessed One with these verses that are non-different from the realm of Dharma: My realm and the realm of sentient beings, the realm of Dharma and those are equal. That realm possesses the realm of wisdom, therefore you prophesy me. The realm of Dharma and the realm of afflictions, the realm of emptiness and those are equal. All dharmas possess that realm, therefore you prophesy me. Desire, hatred, and ignorance, and whatever other realm, these three, are equal to the realm of space, therefore you prophesy me. Samsara and nirvana, the realm of Dharma and those are equal. The realm of wind and water and fire, earth and so on possess that realm. Equal to the realm of aggregates, the realms of eye and so on, and the realm of mind and the realm of Dharma, those realms are all equal. Whatever is the conditioned realm, and whatever is the unconditioned realm, those realms of Dharma are non-dual, therefore you prophesy me. The aggregates are devoid of consciousness, the realms and sources are also so. There is no name, and there is no form. There is no inside, and there is no outside. By whatever sound one becomes aware, the capable one prophesied me. As the sound was spoken, so I was prophesied. By whatever was I prophesied, the mind does not possess a Buddha. In me also, in perfect and complete enlightenment, the prophesied consciousness does not exist. As the Buddha is like me, as I am like the Sugata, so are all sentient beings. Therefore you prophesy me. This prophecy is true, possessing suchness, abiding in the true limit, therefore there is no difference from the realm of Dharma. Truly arising from the realm of Dharma, wisdom is as profound as the sky. Skilled in means and well-trained, Blessed One, I prostrate to you. Then, son of good family, to the Blessed One
