I, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, say thus: O monks, you have done what is to be done, not what is not to be done. O monks, draw near to the wisdom of the Tathagata and behold, realize. Your Nirvana is not Nirvana. O monks, what is taught as the Three Vehicles is the skillful means of the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones, thus it is truly proclaimed. Then, the Blessed One extensively explained this meaning, and at that time, these verses were spoken. Manifest knowledge, wisdom, subduing, guiding the world, thus having entered the heart of enlightenment, even after ten intermediate kalpas were complete, he saw the true meaning but did not attain enlightenment. Gods, nagas, and non-god secret ones, all diligently worshipped that Victorious One. At the place of the Buddha of enlightenment, the guide of men, there fell a rain of flowers. For the sake of worshipping and honoring that Victorious One, they beat drums in the sky above. Since long ago, for the sake of realizing the unsurpassed state, thereafter the Victorious One became extremely distressed. Thereafter, after ten intermediate kalpas had passed, the Blessed One, the subduer, attained enlightenment. At that time, non-gods, nagas, and non-gods, all became greatly joyful and satisfied. The sons of that virtuous lord of men, the sixteen youthful heroes, leading hundreds of thousands of crores of beings, went before the supreme two-legged lord. Having prostrated at the feet of the guide, the lion-like king of men spoke well here, "You satisfy these worlds of ours, please teach the excellent Dharma." Since long ago, in these worlds of the ten directions, it is well known that a great guide has appeared. In order to encourage beings with omens, the immeasurable palaces of Brahma all greatly moved. In the eastern direction, hundreds of thousands of crores of fields, fifty thousand crores of them moved. Thereafter, the supreme immeasurable palaces of Brahma, they all became greatly glorious. Having recognized such omens as these, they approached the presence of the guide, the lord of the world. Flowers were scattered upon that guide, upon that

All the palaces were offered. I pray that you turn the wheel of Dharma. Praised with verses and melodies. That king said, "Now is not the time for me to teach the Dharma." Similarly, the southern direction, and also the west, below, and the north, the upper direction and the intermediate directions, are the same. Hundreds of thousands of Brahmas appeared, pouring upon that guide, prostrating at the feet of the guide, offering all the immeasurable palaces there, praising and praying, praying that you, with boundless eyes, turn the wheel of Dharma. It is very difficult to find you in many billions of kalpas. Please show the power of love in the past. Please open the gate of immortality. Knowing the endless prayers with his eyes, he extensively taught the Dharma in many ways, expanding the four truths, and all these things arose from interdependence. The suffering of the four deaths, including ignorance, was also spoken by the one with boundless eyes. All these faults arise from birth. Know that this is also the lord of death for humans. Many kinds, various, and endless Dharmas, as soon as he spoke them, upon hearing them, hundreds of thousands of billions of beings, eighty Shravakas quickly abided in the ground. That Victorious One spoke many Dharmas, and when it happened for the second time, beings as numerous as the sands of the Ganges became pure, and in an instant, all of them became Shravakas. After that, at that time, the Sangha of the guide of the world became countless. Even if counted in hundreds of thousands of billions of kalpas, one would not reach the end of each of them. Those sixteen princes, all of them became young sons of the heart. Those monks prayed to that Victorious One, saying, "Guide, please teach the supreme Dharma, may we all become knowers of the world like you, may all these beings be like you, the hero with pure eyes." The Victorious One knew the thoughts of those young princes, and with many hundreds of thousands of billions of examples, he extensively taught the supreme and sacred Bodhi. Many causes were repeatedly shown, appearing.
