Ghee and cane sugar, when mixed with water, will melt, yet they do not have the qualities of water. Similarly, the Alaya consciousness, together with the seven consciousnesses, constantly enters the body, and is forever abandoned by the individual consciousnesses. The magnet relies on the stone as its base, and although the iron turns like a sentient being, neither of them has any function, yet it moves like a living being. The mind is called the seven, and the Alaya is the eighth. Because habits are strung together by a thread, it moves like a sentient being, but is not a sentient being. It is universally present in the body, circulating in the narrow cycle of existence, not knowing each other, like the useless iron and magnet. Numerous heads, numerous tongues, numerous mouths, numerous hands, and the body also transforms into many, to make offerings to the Tathagata. The beings in the extremely numerous Buddha-fields, go to immeasurable and countless worlds, and the protectors there also constantly make offerings to them. Flowers, clothes, and numerous rains, equal in size to Mount Sumeru, in various different forms, make great offerings to them. Garlands, half-garlands, headdresses, and various jewel ornaments, are all used to constantly make offerings to the all-knowing ones and the Buddha's children. Immeasurable palaces like clouds, transforming into various images, ultimately the same as the edge of the sky. In addition, there are also daughters of the gods with numerous emanations, like the number of dust particles, playing wonderful musical instruments, appearing in immeasurable palaces, to make offerings to the Tathagata. Those who have obtained power, clairvoyance, and dominion, not retreating from the narrow ground, emerging from the cloud of Dharma, entering the Buddha-land. Transforming into courageous practitioners, etc., abiding in samadhi, those who are skilled in dharani, all make offerings to the Tathagata. The beings who truly praise the Buddha, go to boundless and limitless Buddha-fields, the beings who possess true qualities, greatly praise the qualities of the Buddha. Destroying the armies and the hordes of demons, together with the Buddhas, the Buddha's children each with their self-realized wisdom, practice the samadhi that should be realized. Possessing the qualities of changing places, the beings who proclaim the selflessness of all dharmas, cutting off all elaboration, and making

Meditation. The nature of the five dharmas, And likewise the eight consciousnesses. Always becoming wise, I make offerings to those who are in meditative equipoise. Like the finest dust, And likewise with a great body, Transforming into various forms, I make offerings to the Thus-Gone One. All lands are my body, And I can also fully enter into mustard seeds. The ocean follows the ox's hoofprint, And the ox's hoofprint also enters the great ocean. On the tip of a single hair, the steady and moving, I can fully insert beings, Yet it does not harm them, I act in various ways among beings. The joyful land of those who enjoy, Is equal to the sun, moon, and earth. Like the earth without anger, Benefiting in all ways, Like fire and wind, Always like water and medicine. Like the source of precious elements, All sentient beings are nourished. There is no birth and no cessation, Neither is there permanence nor annihilation. Not different meanings, nor one meaning, Those without going and without coming. With names that are discriminated, And with the nature that is completely imputed, Accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings, Free from names and non-names. Like an illusion, like a dream, Like the example of a city of gandharvas, Like a mirage, the moon in water. Those with a completely imputed nature, Like lightning, clouds, smoke, A firebrand wheel, like a mirage. These dharmas that are examined in this way, Are those with a completely imputed nature. With the names of whatever, Whatever dharmas are spoken of, That is not there in that. It is the nature of complete imputation. All of these are just names, These beings are just names. Different from speech, There is nothing to be said. This is the nature of earth, The completely imputed is well shown. Depending on the eye and form, From the three, mind arises. The sound of a drum and fire from coming together, A sprout gradually from seed and earth. Houses and so forth, various, Woolen cloth, pottery, and so forth, Of embodied beings and dharmas, This is the nature of other-dependence. Without abandoning meanings, And dharmas without any leakage. Individual self-aware continuums, And the selflessness of dharmas, All are the accomplishment of dharma.
