The narration of the Many-Kings asking questions to Vajra-essence and giving answers, etc. The narration of the Many-Kings asking questions to Vajra-essence and giving answers, etc. How is iron to a lodestone? Completely Everything revolves around. Likewise, the chariot of the aggregates, emptiness and habitual tendencies arise and revolve. From the gathering of grass, clay, wooden poles, and ropes, how a house appears, so is this body of aggregates. In iron, lodestone, and corpses, there is no close object of sentient beings, yet everything moves like sentient beings. Likewise, the aggregates are without self. Prince Ratnapani said to the supreme Many-Kings: "Before the Samadhi Vajra-essence, O King, you should ask questions. Princes, fearless wise ones, all who accomplish hearing, that which cannot be thought about, cannot be thought about. Words are completely abandoned, names and name-holders are separate. However, the accumulation is such that, what is the nature of this diverse earth and where does it abide?" Then the Many-Kings again asked Vajra-essence, the fearless one, about the meaning of following accordingly: "Objects, different meanings should be observed. What is the object of the Vajra-lord? What should be thoroughly observed? Are there objects of names, consciousness, etc.? Please tell me, Vajra-essence. Who made the names and what are they like? Where do the names abide?" Having heard the words of the Protector of Men, Vajra-essence said to him: "All these are just names, and they abide only in consciousness. Those who are transformed differently from words, there is nothing to be said. The four aggregates are all named, and form is also observed as just that. The one who applies names to 'just that', is called 'this person'. The Victorious Ones and the Buddha-sons say that 'just that' is called a sign. Without a sign, they cannot properly conceive of names. Therefore, relying on signs, all names are applied. Just as sparks, the five aggregates, and the intermediate 'I' are also not there. Without a sign, nothing can arise. Children cannot observe it. Likewise, all this earth is also not there without a sign. If one does not contemplate anything as a sign, if there is a sign, then one can contemplate. Pots, woolen cloths, and chariots, objects with form can be observed.

Speak. This world is just this, only form, it will not change into other forms. Merely naming the word "merely," for this "merely," there is no real name. Even in the state of having no name and being away from distinctions, when practitioners are able to see these realms, discriminating thoughts will arise strongly. Without discriminating thoughts, there will be no arising. Without thorns growing, changing into other states, it will not be exhausted, it will continue to arise. Because there is no cause, there is no name, only discrimination arises in consciousness. Therefore, Your Majesty, you should always practice the consciousness that is not consciousness. All these are just like this, from all things there is nothing else. Merely should be understood as form. Likewise, body, shape, and form, posture length and body width, characteristics and names are the same. Consciousness, name, and discrimination, speech and difference exist simultaneously. Merely and characteristics are in consciousness, and are widely used. Where merely exists, those names are also only distinguished in the worldly sense. Without speech, things will not arise, nor will they become arising. The arising of various consciousnesses, if there is no object of focus, will not exist. Object of focus, name, and merely, all these realms are the same. For any thing, using any name to name it, such naming does not exist. This is the Dharma nature of all Dharmas, if analyzed, there will be no existence. All these are just names, there are no things with consciousness. Because there is not that, there is no name, because there is no name, there will be no distinction. Not distinguishing will become peaceful, like the flame that burns things. Just like using a burden to compare a burden, it is different from the burden and has a name. Similarly, merely is the burden of the name, it is different from the name and has characteristics. In the heart, merely is distinguished. Use the name as merely, use merely as the mind. This is called man, tree, etc., whatever it is, it is just the distinction of names. The elements and aggregates, merely is also distinguished on form. Without merely, the merely of the elements will not be observed. Just like the surface of a vase has merits, the name exists on merely. The vase is isolated from distinctions through the substance of the vase, and has no name. Does the vase exist in the substance of the vase? The name also does not exist in the name. When the yogi, the merely of the name does not move, and is related to the two discriminations, when seeing the existence or non-existence of the merely of the name, like iron with flames.
