And, to know external things as merely the appearance of one's own mind. If one utterly destroys the three liberations, which are without outflows, with hatred towards the eight aggregates of consciousness, it is like drawing blood with hatred from the Buddha of consciousness. This is called committing an unforgivable crime. O Mahamati, a son or daughter of good family who commits these five unforgivable crimes is one who possesses the Dharma of direct realization; he is one who commits an unforgivable crime. Furthermore, O Mahamati, I will explain to you the external unforgivable crimes so that you and other great Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas will not become extremely foolish in the future. For example, the unforgivable crimes mentioned in the teachings that have been taught, if committed, will not lead to the direct realization of any of the three liberations, except through the blessing of transformation. O Mahamati, the blessing of transformation, the Shravaka is the blessing of the Bodhisattva, or the blessing of the Tathagata, for someone who has committed an unforgivable crime and then feels remorse, in order to reverse his view of remorse, and to prevent those who have abandoned diligence from having a view of remorse, in order to make them rejoice again, therefore, through the blessing of transformation, he clearly shows direct realization. O Mahamati, there is no certainty that one who commits an unforgivable crime will not have direct realization, because he recognizes that his own consciousness is merely an appearance, and that the body, enjoyments, and the realization of places, and the attachment to self and what belongs to self, are seen as utterly remote. If he meets a virtuous friend at a crossroads, he will be freed from the faults of his own discrimination in other transmigrations, unless this happens. To this, it should be said: Desire has been said to be Mara, and ignorance should also be known. If one knows the realms of consciousness with wisdom, then that also shows the Buddha. Habitual tendencies are Arhats, and the gathering of the five aggregates is the Sangha. By cutting off the uninterrupted, that is from the uninterrupted. Again, Mahamati asked: O Bhagavan, please explain to me the Buddhahood of the Buddhas. O Bhagavan, how is it?

It is the Buddhahood of all Buddhas. The Blessed One said: Understanding the selflessness of Dharma and persons, fully knowing and comprehending the two obscurations, obtaining the two kinds of death and transmigration, and abandoning the two kinds of afflictions, therefore, Great Wisdom, the Buddhas are the Buddhahood of the Blessed Ones. Great Wisdom, the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas also attain Buddhahood by comprehending these very Dharmas. Therefore, Great Wisdom, it is therefore taught as the One Vehicle. To that, it should be said thus: Selflessness two and afflictions, Likewise two obscurations also, Inconceivable transformation, By obtaining death and transmigration, thus the Tathagata. The fifth chapter of the "Noble Lankavatara Sutra". Then again, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Great Wisdom said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, after entering the assembly, you said that all the Buddhas who have passed away are myself. In various birth stories, it is also myself, and at that time I was the king of self-grasping, elephant, parrot, prosperity, power, and beautiful eyes, and so on. Blessed One, with what intention did you speak of the hundreds of thousands of birth stories? The Blessed One said: Great Wisdom, the Tathagata Arhat Samyak-sambuddhas enter the assembly considering the four kinds of similarities. For example, I myself became the one who dispels wrong beliefs, Golden Steadfast, and Light Protector at that time. Thus, words are spoken. Considering which four similarities? For example, similarity of letters, similarity of speech, similarity of Dharma, and similarity of body. Great Wisdom, the Tathagata Arhat Samyak-sambuddhas speak words when entering the assembly considering these four similarities. Among them, Great Wisdom, what is the similarity of letters? For example, with whatever letters my name is called Buddha, the letters of those Buddha Blessed Ones are also the same. Great Wisdom, those letters are also not different in the nature of letters, that is the similarity of Great Wisdom letters.

No. In this regard, Mahamati, what is the equality of speech of the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas? It is like this: the discrimination of my speech also arises from sixty-four kinds of Brahma sound tones. Mahamati, the discrimination of speech of those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas also similarly arises from sixty-four kinds of Brahma sound tones, and there is no difference, neither increase nor decrease, in the nature of the Kalavinka and the Brahma sound tones. In this regard, what is the equality of body? It is like this: I and those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas are equal and without difference in the Dharmakaya, Rupakaya, and the body of marks and excellent signs, except that due to the power of taming, the Tathagatas show various different Rupakayas to the different dispositions of sentient beings. In this regard, Mahamati, what is the equality of Dharma? It is like this: they and I have mastered the thirty-seven limbs of enlightenment. Mahamati, the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, considering these four kinds of equality, if they walk among the retinue, they will utter words. That is, they say this: Kashyapa cuts off wrong faith, Golden Sage is also me, having become equal in equality, I declare to the Buddha's son. Again, Mahamati asked: World Honored One, from the night the Tathagata attained unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, until the night he will enter complete Nirvana, the Tathagata has not spoken a single word, has not spoken, and will not speak, non-speech is the speech of the Buddha. The World Honored One said, "Non-speech is the speech of the Buddha," what did the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha mean by saying that? The World Honored One taught: Mahamati, I spoke this word referring to two dharmas. What are the two dharmas? Namely, the dharma of each individual's own nature and the dharma of the previous rules.
