That is, clinging to the self-nature of things, such as thinking, "This is not different from this," and observing with the view of distorted discrimination. Among them, what is the discrimination of cause? For example, in what way do cause and condition cause the nature of the cause to appear to arise or not arise? That is the discrimination of cause. Among them, what is the discrimination of view? For example, clinging to the heretical discriminations of distorted views such as existence, non-existence, oneness, difference, both, and neither. Among them, what is the discrimination of reason? For example, debating with reason and showing the nature of self and what belongs to self. Among them, what is the discrimination of arising? For example, clinging to the arising of the existence and non-existence of things of all conditions. Among them, what is the discrimination of non-arising? For example, all things are without cause, the previous body has not arisen, and things that have not appeared arise from conditions. Among them, what is the discrimination of relation? For example, like a golden thread, what is related to what. Among them, what is the discrimination of bondage and non-bondage? For example, just as clinging to the cause of bondage and what is to be bound, it is like a skillful person tying and untying knots on a rope. Great wise ones, these are the characteristics of the detailed classification of the nature of complete imputation. All ordinary people cling to the characteristics of the detailed classification of the nature of complete imputation. Great wise ones, because of clinging to the existence and non-existence of the nature of dependence on others, they cling to the various natures of complete calculation, just like seeing various illusions. Children discriminate with the wisdom of seeing different illusions. Great wise ones, the various and the illusions are neither one nor different. If they are different, then the various are not born from the cause of illusion. If the various are not different from the illusion, then the illusion and the various will be no different. Because the difference is seen, they are neither one nor different.

Therefore, for that reason, you of great wisdom, and other Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, should not be attached to the existence and non-existence of illusion. To that, it should be said: The mind is connected to objects. When thoughts arise, consciousness enters into them. For the absence of signs and distinctions, correct wisdom deeply enters. The nature of the completely imputed is existent, the other-dependent is non-existent. The deluded perceive the imputed as appearing, one should not fixate on the other-dependent. How can an illusion composed of many parts not be established? Likewise, various signs, if carefully examined, will not be established. Signs are objects of bad states, bondage arises from the mind. Those who do not understand impute, and also discriminate in the other-dependent. Whatever is the object of imputation, that itself is the other-dependent. The appearance of various imputations, that is called the other-dependent. Conventional truth and ultimate truth, are not three produced from causes. Imputation and conventional truth are taught, that is the realm of activity for the noble ones. Like the objects of a yogi, although diverse and beautifully arranged in one, there is no diversity in it. Likewise, that is the characteristic of imputation. Just as those with cataracts impute various forms on the appearing form, cataracts are neither form nor formless. Likewise, the wise should understand the other-dependent. Just as gold becomes pure, water also removes turbidity, and the sky becomes pure without clouds, likewise, purity should be carefully examined. In imputation there is no object, the other-dependent exists. If one adds or slanders, it will be destroyed if examined carefully. If imputation exists truly in the unreal, then the unreal is real, and the real arises from the unreal. By dwelling in the completely imputed nature, the other-dependent can be observed. From the connection of name and sign, the completely imputed arises. Imputation is completely unestablished, it does not arise from others. At that time, the ultimate nature will be known as completely pure. The completely imputed has ten aspects, the other-dependent has six aspects. The self-awareness of each is suchness, it should be understood, therefore there is no difference. The five dharmas are reality, likewise there are also three natures.
