All begin and dwell in all places. King Suddhodana was also surrounded and gazed upon by five hundred Shakya youths, riding on horses and elephants, celebrating at his own house gate. The great mother of beings, Gautami, also said to her group of maids: Light the spotless lamps, and place all the jewels on the top of the banner. Also, clean the pearl necklaces and illuminate this entire house with light. Also, tune the songs and celebrate diligently and without懈怠. Be sure to guard him so that the youth will not leave without noticing. Wearing armor, holding swords and other weapons in their hands. Holding short spears, bows and arrows, and double-pointed weapons. In order to protect the beloved son. Everyone must be very serious and strictly guarded. Close all the doors and lock them tightly. Securely fix the strong door闩 to the door frame. Do not open the door until the time is right. Be sure to prevent this sacred being from slipping away. Wear jewel necklaces and pearl necklaces. Decorate with lotus, moon, lion, and leaf patterns. Wear belts, rings, earrings, and hair bands. Also wear very exquisite anklets. The one who benefits gods and humans (the prince) walks like a proud elephant. If it suddenly appears. Be sure to avoid making him feel uncomfortable. Be sure to do it very carefully. Those women who are holding short spears. Surround (the prince) lying on the spotless bed. Be sure to guard him with your eyes like a butterfly, and do not let him fall asleep. In order to protect this prince. Hang a net of jewels in this house. Also, play the flute to your heart's content. Be sure to guard him, away from dust. Remind each other. Be sure to guard him and do not sleep. If he abandons the throne and the country. If he sneaks out of the house. If he really slips away. Then this entire royal palace will decline and be unpleasant. Even if the king's bloodline can continue for a long time. The king's lineage and descendants will be cut off. Monks, then the yaksha leaders such as Five Peaks, as well as the twenty-eight great yaksha leaders and the five hundred sons of the夺命女 gathered together and said:

Having spoken thus, he said: "Friends, be diligent in the act of making offerings to the Bodhisattva Doto when he descends!" The four great kings also entered the palace of Willow Grove Garden and said to the great Yaksha retinue: "Friends, when the Bodhisattva Doto descends, you should lift him up from under his feet." The Yaksha retinue said: "His body is like the powerful vajra of the son of no desire, indivisible, hard, and heavy. That supreme one of all beings has the power of diligence and is immovable. He can uproot the supreme mountain, Mount Sumeru, from its foundation and hold it in the sky. No one can honor the king's qualities, which are as heavy as Mount Sumeru, the abode of merit and wisdom, anywhere." The son of Vaishravana said: "To the proud, the teacher is heavy. To those who dwell in joy and reverence, he feels light. Strive with a firm mind, and with reverence, know that it is as light as a bird eating a piece of meat. I will go in front, and you will lift up what is being ridden. When the Bodhisattva Doto descends, he bestows many merits, etc." Monks, then Indra, the lord of the gods, said to the gods of the Thirty-Three: "Friends, when the Bodhisattva Doto descends, all of you should be diligent in making offerings to him." Then, the son of the gods named Peaceful Wisdom said: "I will cause all the men, women, boys, and girls of the great city of Kapilavastu to fall asleep." The son of the gods named Playful Arrangement said: "I will make the sounds of horses, elephants, donkeys, mules, cows, buffaloes, men, women, boys, and girls inaudible." The son of the gods named Arrangement Wisdom said: "In the center of the sky, I will arrange seven great chariots surrounded by seven jeweled platforms, with mani jewels blazing with fire, raising umbrellas, victory banners, and flags, scattering various flowers, and burning various incenses from incense burners.

In short, the path from which the Bodhisattva arises is placed here. The Naga king named Son of Earth Protector said: I will build a house on my nose, thirty-two yojanas high, and place goddesses there, and have them play music and sing, and with the great sound of song and music, I will make offerings and reverence to the Bodhisattva. The Lord of the Gods, Indra himself, said: I will open the door and show the way. The son of the gods, Dharma Practice, said: I will show the displeasure of the retinue of consorts. The son of the gods, Right Effort, said: I will pray for the Bodhisattva to rise from his sleeping quarters. Then the Naga King Water God, the Naga King Glorious, the Naga King Ocean, the Naga King Anavatapta, the Naga King Nanda and Upananda said: We will manifest clouds of sandalwood that follow the seasons for the purpose of offering to the Bodhisattva, and rain down showers of sandalwood snake heart powder. Monks, in this way the gods, nagas, yakshas, and gandharvas, having thought in this way, began to act. The Bodhisattva, having entered into the thought of Dharma, sitting comfortably on a bed in a singing pavilion, being among a retinue of consorts, remembering the conduct of the Buddhas of the past, recollecting the benefit of sentient beings, and making manifest the four lines of vows of the past. What are the four lines? In the past, when I desired to become the lord of self-arising, seeking omniscience itself, I put on such armor, and seeing sentient beings suffering, alas! I will bind the inhabitants of the world and place them in the great prison of samsara, I will break the prison of samsara and proclaim the sound of liberation from bondage. I will also liberate sentient beings bound by the rope of desire and the firm lock, this is the manifestation of the first line of the past vow. Alas! I will the world's ignorance of
