如果具備四法，就能捨棄一切惡趣，不墮入罪惡朋友之手，迅速現證無上正等菩提而成佛。四法為何？即是安住於戒律，對一切法無有懷疑，對寂靜處極為歡喜，不從正確的進入和正確的受持中動搖。慈氏，菩薩具備這四法，就能捨棄一切惡趣，不墮入罪惡朋友之手，迅速現證無上正等菩提而成佛。慈氏，再者，菩薩具備五法，就能捨棄一切惡趣，不墮入罪惡朋友之手，迅速現證無上正等菩提而成佛。五法為何？即是安住於空性，不尋求他人的過失，觀察我見，對法極為歡喜，進入利益他人。慈氏，菩薩具備這五法，就能捨棄一切惡趣，不墮入罪惡朋友之手，迅速現證無上正等菩提而成佛。慈氏，再者，菩薩具備六法，就能捨棄一切惡趣，不墮入罪惡朋友之手，迅速現證無上正等菩提而成佛。六法為何？即是無有貪慾，無有瞋恚，無有愚癡，被提問後立即如實回答，不難親近，以空性為行境。慈氏，菩薩具備這六法，就能捨棄一切惡趣，不墮入罪惡朋友之手，迅速現證無上正等菩提而成佛。慈氏，再者，菩薩具備七法，就能捨棄一切惡趣，不墮入罪惡朋友之手，迅速現證無上正等菩提而成佛。七法為何？即是善於憶念，

If one possesses four qualities, one will abandon all evil destinies, not fall into the hands of sinful friends, and quickly realize the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment and become a Buddha. What are the four? They are: abiding in morality, having no doubt about all dharmas, being extremely delighted in solitary places, and not wavering from correct entry and correct acceptance. Maitreya, a Bodhisattva who possesses these four qualities will abandon all evil destinies, not fall into the hands of sinful friends, and quickly realize the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment and become a Buddha. Maitreya, furthermore, a Bodhisattva who possesses five qualities will abandon all evil destinies, not fall into the hands of sinful friends, and quickly realize the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment and become a Buddha. What are the five? They are: abiding in emptiness, not seeking the faults of others, examining the view of self, being extremely delighted in the Dharma, and entering into benefiting others. Maitreya, a Bodhisattva who possesses these five qualities will abandon all evil destinies, not fall into the hands of sinful friends, and quickly realize the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment and become a Buddha. Maitreya, furthermore, a Bodhisattva who possesses six qualities will abandon all evil destinies, not fall into the hands of sinful friends, and quickly realize the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment and become a Buddha. What are the six? They are: being without greed, being without hatred, being without delusion, answering immediately and truthfully when asked, not being difficult to approach, and having emptiness as one's field of activity.
