Entered into Samadhi. Immediately after Manjushri, the Youth, entered into the Samadhi of Universally Manifesting Immaculate Adornment, from that very moment, the Buddha-fields of the eastern direction, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, were all heard. Gentle, pure, radiant, immaculate, completely pure great light and vast manifestation pervaded. That light and manifestation illuminated all the darkness between worlds in the ten directions, the mountain peaks, trees, mountains, environments, single-storied houses, multi-storied houses, snow mountains, Mount Sumeru, great mountains, and everything else with great manifestation. Then, in the ten directions, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, who resided and lived, were asked by their respective attendants: "Bhagavat, this light, so pleasing, never seen or heard before, this great manifestation of such radiant light, what is the cause, Bhagavat, for this appearance in the world? What is the condition? Bhagavat, this light fills us with joy and great bliss in body and mind, and the desire, hatred, and ignorance of sentient beings do not arise. Bhagavat, by whom is such a light emitted? Whose power is this? Whose blessing is this?" After they asked thus, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, did not answer their attendants at all. By the power of the Buddha, in the ten directions, the sounds of gods, the sounds of nagas, the sounds of yakshas, the sounds of garudas, the sounds of gandharvas, the sounds of kinnaras, the sounds of mahoragas, the sounds of humans, the sounds of non-humans, the sounds of birds, and the sounds of deer all ceased to exist. The sound of the wind, the sound of the mass of water, the sound of the force of the great ocean, the sound of musical instruments, and the sound of songs all ceased to exist, and no sound was produced, and everything became peaceful and utterly peaceful. Again, the attendants of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat

They requested again and again, saying: "For the benefit of many beings, for the happiness of many beings, for the sake of the benefit, healing, and happiness of the majority of beings, both gods and humans, by what means does the Bhagavan emit such light, illuminating all these Buddha-fields? Whose power is this? Please explain." Then, all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, from the Buddha-fields of the ten directions, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, gathered all the voices of all the Buddhas into one sound, and proclaimed the function of speech. Just as one Tathagata speaks, so do the others, and they gathered the function of speech into one sound, and in that way, they bestowed teachings upon those who served them. The words spoken by those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, filled all the Buddha-fields, and hundreds of thousands of millions of musical instruments, including those of gods and humans, also produced sounds, and even without being played, the sounds of music arose. From those sounds of music, the sounds of impermanence, suffering, and selflessness arose, as well as the sound of emptiness, the sound of signlessness, the sound of wishlessness, the sound of detachment, the sound of liberation, the sound of the realm of Dharma, the sound of suchness, the sound of the ultimate reality, the sound of generosity, the sound of morality, the sound of patience, the sound of diligence, the sound of meditation, the sound of wisdom, the sound of certainty, the sound of beneficial things, and the sounds of loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity, and the sounds of hundreds of thousands of Dharma gates that are in accordance with such things arose. Those sounds that arose caused countless billions of trillions of immeasurable beings to become irreversible from the attainment of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, the state of a Hearer, the state of a Solitary Buddha, the state of Indra, the state of Brahma, and the complete accomplishment of the sovereignty of a Universal Monarch. Then, those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, to those who served them...
