The sacred Dharma will remain for ten kalpas. His Sangha will consist only of Bodhisattvas, and there will be thirty-two kotis of irreversible Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. When the Bodhisattva Maitreya attains enlightenment, she will become the son of King Dhvaja, a prince named Youthful Joyful Sight, and he will make offerings to the Tathagata Maitreya and then renounce the world. He will uphold the first, middle, and last of the sacred Dharma of the Tathagata Maitreya. In this Fortunate Aeon, he will please and make offerings to all the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, who will appear. Eventually, when the Tathagata Ashoka attains enlightenment, he will become a universal monarch named Chakravarin. He will make immeasurable offerings to that Tathagata, and in that very Buddha-field, he will manifest complete perfect enlightenment, becoming the Tathagata Samantaprabha. Then, Queen Moonface, having heard her own prophecy, was satisfied, delighted, and rejoiced, and offered the Blessed One a necklace of pearls worth a hundred thousand, and with the king's permission, practiced celibacy and observed the precepts. Then, through the blessing of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Ashoka, the Mandarava flowers offered by the gods were scattered upon the Blessed One and all the retinue. Then, descending from the sky, gathering in one place, they spoke these words: By the truth and the words of truth, when I attain enlightenment, all these Bodhisattva Mahasattvas will be born miraculously, wearing ochre robes, sitting cross-legged on jeweled lotuses.
