Knowing the fear of the three realms here is also useless, likewise sons and wives are of no help. Parents, siblings, sons, and wives, servants, wealth, and all the retinues, for the sake of the dead, they do not go. Actions follow behind and go to other places, actions follow behind, everyone desires them. Abiding by actions, the world moves in various ways. Having realized that this birth is the nature of action, the wise should perform all virtuous actions. If one falls into the Avici hell, they are not protectors, parents, siblings, beloved sons, relatives, friends, blood relations, and in-laws, the wise should not commit sins for their sake. Unless actions are exhausted, a very unpleasant person cannot be liberated from fear. Therefore, those who fear sin should diligently abandon all sins. Just as without doing actions, Yama and Yama's mount, as well as friends, retinues, and siblings, parents, children, and wives cannot protect. You have obtained a human body, having obtained it, you have not abandoned sins, alas! Now experience unpleasant suffering, this is the ripening of non-virtuous actions. Do not disbelieve the ripening of actions, you have committed non-virtue with your own mind, I have nothing to say in response to this. At that time, the Dharma King Yama spoke thus, one's own actions ripen on oneself, you have come here by your own actions, thus, the unpleasant actions done in the past, you should experience that suffering. At that time, parents and one's own wives, etc., cannot save one from the danger of suffering, liberation comes from doing good deeds. Thus, one should abandon the household, punishments such as sticks falling, whoever wants to abandon, seeking peace, should regard the household as terrifying and abandon it, practice Dharma in the abode of the wise in the world. The household is a blazing fire, the peak of many sufferings, the various thoughts that arise in the mind constantly burn. Like a pit of fire, it is frightening, who among the wise would develop attachment to it? Householders grieve for their children and wives, householders also grieve for enjoyment, this fault and other immeasurable faults, therefore, one should abandon the household. Ghost

Rejoicing in the teachings of the young ones, unplanted, unsown, it is the cause of ease and joy. This home is the root of many sufferings. Fools rejoice in it, but the wise do not. The body of skin, veins, flesh, and bones, generating the thought, "This is my wife." Children, the ignorant, generate desire, not knowing that women are like illusions. Those with wisdom, knowing the faults of the home, therefore abandon all the joys of desire. Generating the thought of Dharma as medicine, without attachment, they quickly emerge from the home. Then, the householder Dasabyin and about five hundred householders, having heard this Dharma discourse, attained forbearance in the Dharma of non-arising. Having attained forbearance, they became exceedingly joyful and content, and at that time, they uttered these verses: Those who desire the Buddha's Dharma, whoever generates the mind, alas, attainment, great attainment! This is the best of all attainments. The mind of enlightenment is joy, making all sentient beings happy. Whoever generates joy in this mind, they live well. Those who benefit all sentient beings, whoever generates this mind, all those sentient beings rejoice. Seeing them brings joy. Whoever rejoices in the mind of enlightenment, their bodies are like gold, adorned with excellent marks, and they will illuminate the world. The mind of enlightenment is a great mind, the best of virtues among all minds, complete with all qualities, and it completely pacifies all diseases. Sentient beings with little merit do not desire the mind of enlightenment. Those who do not contemplate samsara become weary of the mind of enlightenment. If the merit of the mind of enlightenment had form, it would fill all of space, and it would be even greater than that. More than filling Buddhafields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges with jewels and offering them to the protector of the world, whoever joins their palms and turns their mind towards enlightenment, this offering is especially excellent, without end. What is the mind of enlightenment like? As taught by the supreme sage, there is no other offering like it, nor is there any other glory. Medicine.
