If one correctly seeks who would abandon it, that pride is not found. Whoever completely grasps it, and in whom it fully arises, and whoever strives to abandon it, that is also not found, because by grasping in a non-true way, one truly sees that self and the world are deceived. He truly sees that all phenomena are without inherent existence, and fully knows that whichever phenomenon is without inherent existence, that is without substance. He fully knows that without substance is not fully established. Because it is not fully established, it does not arise. Whichever does not arise, that does not cease. He fully knows that whichever does not arise and does not cease, that is unnameable. Whichever is unnameable, that is neither past, nor future, nor present. He fully knows that whichever is not found in the three times, that is neither obtained, nor wasted. O you who go everywhere, thus that is the nature of all phenomena. Whichever nature does not err in the thusness of all phenomena, that is thusness. The thusness that is not other. The Tathagata is also thusness. The thusness that does not err. The thusness that is not other, therefore all phenomena are the Tathagata. O you who go everywhere, I have said that both in the past and now, the designation of the world is the nature of pride. Because of pride, it will be designated that one transmigrates from death as a human. Because of pride, it will be designated that one transmigrates from death in the heavens. Because of pride, it will be designated that one transmigrates to the hells of sentient beings. If there is no pride, there is no designation. O you who go everywhere, that is to be known as the wisdom without pride. That can also be known by relying on skillful means and the perfection of wisdom, and by being fully embraced by a virtuous friend. Then, O you who go everywhere, those sixty thousand will obtain forbearance of the unborn dharma after hearing this teaching. After they obtain forbearance of the unborn dharma, they will rise from the teaching, bow to the feet of the Bhagavan with their heads, and then sit on one side. After sitting on one side, at that time they will praise the Bhagavan with verses. Head

I prostrate to the one who is truly superior through the power of wisdom, Who does not rely on others for all beings. Who sees the nature of actions in all beings, Like an Emblica fruit placed in the palm of the hand. He stirs up everything with the aspect of observing the world, Like thick clouds covering the sky. Those people act out of ignorance, Like a group of blind people completely losing their way. The world is permanent and the world is impermanent, Some are permanent and some are impermanent. It is said that it is neither permanent nor impermanent, Destroyed like an elephant king tied in a house. The world has an end and the world has no end, Some have an end and some have no end. It is said that it is neither finite nor infinite, Like a bird trapped in a box. Some say the body is the self, Some say this body is other. They sleep completely entangled in thoughts, Like a bird caught in a small bird net. Some say it is an emanation of Ishvara, Some claim it arose without cause. Entangled in various aspects of views, The Victorious One sees like the moon in the sky. How Like an ignorant bird trapped in a box, Hoping to escape through the holes. Like the unwise bound by aspects of views, Unable to be liberated, like being bound by two feet. Brahma, the Lord of beings, and the desiccator, As well as the Wheel-holder and Vaishravana, I pay homage to all directions and oceans, Like a king catching a thief at night. A poor person indebted and a debtor, When caught, they pray like begging for forgiveness. The meritorious ones who abide in aspects of views, Seek happiness from Ishvara, Like a group of thieves being thrown into prison. Experiencing hundreds of sufferings among beings, The Tathagata sees those things. Like the five fingers in the palm of the hand. Having generated great compassion, the lord of men, Knowing beings, he acts among beings, Supreme wisdom liberates beings in lifetimes, Like a king releasing prisoners. For the sake of diminishing the world in countless eons, Having practiced austerities, he attained supreme enlightenment. Knowing that sentient beings wander in aspects of views, You liberate them from bondage. The Sugata, lion among men, chief of bipeds, In whatever Dharma assembly
