Entering also is like this. The so-called "aggregate" is the Dharani of this Dharma, which is unaccomplished (empty of inherent existence), and can be well attained. Why is that? Because form is not accomplished in any way. Earth is not accomplished in earth. Likewise, water, fire, and wind are not accomplished in wind. Why is that? Because earth has no inherent nature. Whatever Dharma has no inherent nature is unaccomplished. Water, fire, and wind have no inherent nature. Whatever Dharma has no inherent nature is unaccomplished. Thus, unaccomplished form should not be designated as past, should not be designated as future, and should not be designated as arising in this way. Why is that? Because form has no substance. Because there is no substance, there is no birth. Whatever has no birth has no cessation. Whatever is unborn and unceasing should not be designated. The aggregates of feeling, perception, mental formation, and consciousness are also the same. Therefore, the aggregates have no object of focus. Because the aggregates have no object of focus, the Dharani has no object of focus. Thus, entering the aggregates is entering the Dharani. That Dharani is only a name, only a convention, only a designation, only a common expression, only a statement, only a designation. Apart from that, there is no focus on entering the Dharani. Here, there is no focus on the aggregates, no focus on the Dharani, no focus on entering, and the Dharani also has no focus on inherent nature. Why is that? What is called this aggregate is an uncreated Dharma. What Dharma is uncreated, how can there be accumulation? The aggregate is called an aggregate because of accumulation. For example, like a house, a mansion, a pavilion, a multi-storied building, a window, an eave, a net, a platform, a door, a star window, a stable, a wooden pillar, a pit, and many things gathered together are called a city. Likewise, what is called an aggregate is also the same. If form is focused on by its own nature, how can there be accumulation? Because there is no accumulation, there is no form. There is also no aggregate of form.

Similarly, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness, if they do not inherently exist as objects of focus, then how can there be aggregates? Because there are no aggregates, there is also no consciousness. There is also no aggregate of consciousness. Thus, by engaging with the aggregates, one will attain dharani. By attaining dharani, one will attain fearlessness. Furthermore, engaging with the sense-bases leads to the attainment of dharani. What is called the eye sense-base, what kind of sense-base is it? It is the sense-base of suffering. What is the eye? It is composed of the four great elements: the earth element, the water element, the fire element, and the wind element. The earth element is without inherent nature. Whatever dharma whose inherent nature is not perceived is unestablished. Similarly, the water element, the fire element, and the wind element are without inherent nature. Whatever dharma whose inherent nature is not perceived is unestablished. Thus, the fully established eye sense-base cannot be designated as past, nor can it be designated as future or present. Why is that? Because the eye sense-base is not a real entity. Because it is not a real entity, there is no arising. Where there is no arising, there is no cessation. That which is neither born nor ceases cannot be designated. Thus, the eye is neither born nor ceases. The sense-base and suffering are also neither born nor cease. That which is neither born nor ceases is merely a name, merely a term, merely a symbol, merely a convention, merely an expression, and cannot be designated otherwise. Even that name is not by name. Why is that? Because whatever dharma is designated as eye, sense-base, or suffering, none of that dharma is perceived. Even the name cannot be expressed as a name. The ear, nose, tongue, body, mind, form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharmas are also the same. Therefore, by engaging with the sense-bases, one obtains dharani. By engaging with dharani, one obtains fearlessness. Moreover, engaging with the elements leads to the attainment of dharani. The eye is not by the eye, the element is not by the element.
