They will manifest the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment in one kalpa. Ananda, the great Bodhisattva Mihin will become the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, known as Mind Equanimity. All those who attend to the Bodhisattva Mihin will become Tathagatas with different names. Those five hundred musicians will not fall into countless kalpas. It can be said that they will become billions of Chakravartin kings. During that time, they will please ten thousand Buddhas, respectfully serve them, honor them as their teachers, make images of them, and make offerings to them. All of them will manifest the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment in one kalpa, and all will share the same name as the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, named Gentle Sound. Among those ten million kotis of beings, four hundred beings, after pleasing the Tathagata Maitreya, will completely pass into nirvana at that time. The remaining beings will not fall into as many kalpas as the sands of the Ganges River. In this way, after pleasing billions of Buddhas, they will respectfully serve them and honor them as their teachers.

They will also please the excellent Maitreya, the best of individuals, and treat him with respect. They will become teachers, they will become pictures, they will become offerings. After that, for twenty kotis of nayutas of kalpas, they will not fall into lower realms. Then, having obtained all the mastery of the body, urged by the roots of virtue, with faith, they will go forth from home to homelessness, completely and thoroughly, and they will realize enlightenment directly. Among the hundred thousand sentient beings, one thousand sentient beings who have seen birth will generate the mind of unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment.
