The joint creation of rays is the nature of non-anger. His eyes are completely purified by the disturbances and defilements of the mind. His eyes are naturally radiant and without stain. His eyes are confirmed by the Buddha's eye because they do not abandon intention. His eyes are free from attachment and anger, are without attachment, without hatred. His eyes dwell in meaning, realm of activity, conduct, and great compassion for sentient beings. His eyes have no anger towards those who beg. His eyes have no anger towards those who break their vows. His eyes protect those who harbor harmful thoughts. His eyes give great support to the lazy. His eyes show the limbs of meditation to those whose minds are disturbed. His eyes bestow the eye of wisdom upon those of shallow wisdom. His eyes guide those who have gone astray. His eyes show the vast Buddha-dharma to those of little faith. His eyes are manifestly superior with the vast omniscient wisdom, and are manifestly devoted to the essence of enlightenment, which is the goal of superknowledge. Shariputra, this is the complete accomplishment of the work of the superknowledge of the divine eye of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas. Shariputra, what is the superknowledge by which the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas manifestly know things through the realm of the divine ear? And what is the complete accomplishment of the work of superknowledge and wisdom? Shariputra, the divine ear of the Bodhisattva is purified, far surpassing the human realm, and can hear the sounds of both humans and non-humans. In those boundless and limitless realms of the ten directions, whatever sound is heard, whether it is the sound of gods, or the sound of nagas, or the sound of yakshas, or the sound of gandharvas, or the sound of asuras, or the sound of garudas, or the sound of kinnaras, or the sound of mahoragas, or the sound of humans and non-humans, whether it is the sound of noble ones, or the sound of Buddhas, or the sound of Pratyekabuddhas, or the sound of Bodhisattvas.

Or, even the sound of a Hearer, all of that Bodhisattva knows with the realm of his divine ear. Whatever sound of a bad destination, or the sound of hell beings, or the sound of the birthplace of animals, or even the sound of the world of Yama, all of those he knows with the realm of his divine ear, even the sound of worms and, butterflies and, bees and, flesh flies, or the object of the minds of these beings, virtuous or, non-virtuous, all of the actions they utter with their speech, he also fully knows. The action of speech that holds the cause of virtue, and the action of speech that holds the cause of non-virtue, that also he fully knows. Whatever action of speech arises from the latent tendency of desire and anger, and whatever action of speech arises from the latent tendency of hatred and desire, and whatever action of speech arises from the latent tendency of desire and hatred and delusion, that also he fully knows. Whatever action of speech arises from the latent tendency of ignorance and desire, and whatever action of speech arises from the latent tendency of desire and desire, and whatever hatred arises from the latent tendency of hatred, and delusion arises from the latent tendency of ignorance, that also he fully knows. Whatever action of speech, anger that applies to one's own mind, and whatever action of speech, anger in thought towards those who apply, all of that also with the clairvoyance of the divine ear and, unobstructed wisdom, he fully knows as it truly is. With that divine ear, he hears the sounds of the noble ones and, the non-noble ones, and having heard, he has no attachment to the sounds of the noble ones, and no anger towards the sounds of the non-noble ones, from the sounds of the noble ones he fully finds great love, from the sounds of the non-noble ones he fully finds great compassion. With all those sounds, he fully knows with the wisdom that cuts off the beginning and the end, just as it is. With that divine ear, he hears all that is spoken by all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of all the countless realms of the ten directions, and having heard, with the vessel of memory that does not forget, he holds all of it completely. Having completely held it, he does not forget it, and he teaches it as it is to the vessel of beings. All of the Dharma
