为供养而去的如来，纵然以百千俱胝劫的时间来说其名号，也不能穷尽。弥勒，那些听闻如来、应供、正等觉、无量光佛名号的众生，获得是多么的善妙！弥勒，凡是众生对如来无量光佛，哪怕生起一念清净的信心，并且对这部法门具有坚定不移的信仰，他们就不会倾向于低劣的境界。弥勒，因此你应该信受，你应该领悟，在天人、魔、梵天以及沙门、婆罗门等世间众生面前，受持、宣说、读诵、通达这部法门，并广为他人如实宣说，乐于修习。弥勒，哪怕仅仅一天一夜受持、读诵、通达这部法门，并以真诚之心广为他人如实宣说；甚至将其书写在书卷上，受持并对其生起如对佛陀一般的敬意。无论何人，若想令无量众生迅速获得无上正等菩提的不退转，并得见世尊如来无量寿佛，且希望自己也能拥有圆满殊胜的佛土功德庄严，那么就应超越充满三千大千世界的火焰，来听闻这部法门。听闻之后，应以不虚伪的心，由衷地随喜。为了受持、通达、宣说、书写和修习这部法门，应发起广大的精进。哪怕只说一句，也应告诉他人。即使超越充满三千大千世界的火焰，也不要生起一丝后悔之心。

Those Tathagatas who go forth for the sake of offering, even if they were to speak their names for hundreds of thousands of billions of kalpas, they would not be able to reach the end. Maitreya, those beings who hear the name of the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, Amitabha, how well they have obtained it! Maitreya, any beings who, even for a single moment, obtain a pure mind towards the Tathagata Amitabha, and who have unwavering faith in this Dharma teaching, they will not incline towards inferior realms. Maitreya, therefore you should believe, you should understand, and in the presence of the world with gods, demons, Brahma, and ascetics and Brahmins, uphold, proclaim, recite, and comprehend this Dharma teaching, and also extensively and truthfully teach it to others, and delight in meditation. Maitreya, even if only for one day and one night, hold, recite, and comprehend this Dharma teaching, and from the depths of your heart, extensively and truthfully explain it to others; even write it well on scrolls, hold it, and generate the perception of it as the Teacher. Whoever wishes to quickly establish countless beings in non-retrogression from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and to see the Bhagavan Tathagata Amitayus, and also desires to fully possess the excellent and extraordinary qualities of the Buddha-field, should transcend the world system of the great trichiliocosm filled with fire in order to listen to this Dharma teaching. Having heard it, one should rejoice from the depths of one's heart with a non-deceitful mind. For the sake of holding, comprehending, proclaiming, writing, and meditating on this Dharma teaching, one should exert great and vast effort. Even if it is just one word, one should tell it to others. Even having transcended the world system of the great trichiliocosm filled with fire, one should not generate even a single thought of regret.

不要灰心丧气。那是什么缘故呢？弥勒菩萨，像这样成千上万的菩萨们，听闻如此广大的法门，为了不退转于无上正等菩提的缘故。未来时期，直到正法彻底衰败之际，如此广大的法门，是被所有佛陀真实赞叹的，是被所有佛陀称扬的，是被所有佛陀允许的。那些听闻能迅速成就一切智智的广大智慧的众生，是获得了非常好的获得，并且生起了善根，对过去的诸佛做了特别的奉献，并且受到了佛陀的加持。听闻之后生起欢喜，获得极大欢喜，受持，讲解，读诵，完全理解，并且也为其他众生广大的如实宣说，喜欢禅修，乃至书写文字进行供养的那些众生，也会积累大量的福德，那是不容易计算的。弥勒菩萨，既然这样，我已经做了如来所做的事，你也现在不要犹豫的精进吧！对于佛陀的无染无碍的智慧，不要疑惑！不要陷入一切种类的殊胜珍宝牢狱中啊！弥勒菩萨，佛陀出世是难以获得的，佛法开示是难以获得的，闲暇圆满是难以获得的。弥勒菩萨，我已经为你宣说了所有善根的彼岸，现在你修持现观吧！弥勒菩萨，为了不穷尽这个法门，应当行广大布施。为了不让佛法衰败，应当精进。不要扰乱如来的教言。不要长久的遭受损害，不利益，不安乐，痛苦，以及堕入邪道啊！然后，那时世尊说了这些偈颂：没有积累福德的。

Do not be discouraged. What is the reason for that? Maitreya, like this, tens of millions of Bodhisattvas, hearing such a vast Dharma, are for the sake of not regressing from the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. In the future, until the time when the true Dharma completely declines, such a vast Dharma is truly praised by all Buddhas, is extolled by all Buddhas, and is permitted by all Buddhas. Those beings who hear the vast wisdom that can quickly accomplish the all-knowing wisdom have obtained a very good attainment, and have generated roots of virtue, have made special offerings to the Buddhas of the past, and have been blessed by the blessings of the Buddhas. After hearing, they generate joy, obtain great joy, uphold, explain, recite, completely understand, and also extensively and truthfully proclaim to other beings, delight in meditation, and even those beings who write down the words and make offerings will also accumulate a great amount of merit, which is not easy to calculate. Maitreya, since that is the case, I have done what the Tathagata has done, and you should now strive without hesitation! Do not doubt the Buddha's wisdom, which is without attachment and without obstruction! Do not fall into the precious prison that possesses all kinds of excellence! Maitreya, it is difficult to obtain the appearance of a Buddha, it is difficult to obtain the teaching of the Dharma, and it is difficult to obtain leisure and perfection. Maitreya, I have explained to you the perfection of all roots of virtue, now cultivate the clear realization! Maitreya, in order not to exhaust this Dharma, one should practice great giving. In order not to let the Buddha's Dharma decline, one should strive. Do not disturb the Tathagata's teachings. Do not suffer harm, disadvantage, discomfort, pain, and falling into wrong paths for a long time! Then, at that time, the Bhagavan spoke these verses: Those who have not accumulated merit.
