And to you, supreme Shakya, today I make offerings. I am the one who does not stray from the bravery of the Buddha, seeking the supreme enlightenment. The earth may crumble, the mountains may shake, and all beings may perish. But whoever has a mind for enlightenment, who has become superior through surpassing intention, it is impossible that they would not become endowed with the ten powers today. Utter the lion's roar, possessor of Brahma's voice, blessed one, guide, please speak! Then, after Peaceful Wisdom, the noble consort of the Naga King Black, named Golden Light, surrounded by a great multitude of Naga daughters, bearing various umbrellas in front, bearing various silk garments, bearing various pearl necklaces, bearing various precious jewels, bearing garlands of gods and humans, bearing various instruments, and together with those playing various sounds of cymbals and lutes, scattered various precious flowers upon the Bodhisattva Light Garland, and praised him with these verses: You have no error, no fear, no shrinking back, no timidity, no dejection, no inferiority, you are exceedingly joyful, invincible, without attachment. 在某处生起，前往菩提树的心要之处时，在道路的右侧，有一个名叫吉祥草的牧草人，他正在割草，他取了一把菩萨喜旋、右旋、具有颜色、具有香味、像卡匝林地嘎一样触感舒适的草，然后菩萨前往那里，牧草人将一把草献给菩萨，从内心深处发起了无上正等觉之心。寂静慧，你认为吉祥牧草人是不早不晚地发起菩提心并献上草的人，不要那样看。为什么呢？这是吉祥牧草人往昔的愿力。就像我为贤劫的菩萨们在菩提树的心要之处铺设座位一样。为什么呢？寂静慧，我以神通了知，在过去的时间里，在这个贤劫之前九十一劫时，如来、应供、正等觉者、明行足、善逝、世间解、调御丈夫、无上士、天人师、佛、薄伽梵名叫毗婆尸（藏文：རྣམ་པར་གཟིགས།），出现在世间。他的教法中，有一千比丘修习梵行，世尊对他们授记说：你们将在贤劫证得无上正等觉。当时，有一个名叫慧护的居士聚集在那个眷属中，听到菩萨们被授记后，发起了无上正等觉之心，并发愿说：贤劫的菩萨们前往菩提树的心要之处时，我要打扫狮子座。寂静慧，你是否怀疑或犹豫，或者心存二念，认为当时的居士慧护是另一个人呢？你不应该那样看。为什么呢？这个吉祥牧草人就是他。

Having arisen in a certain place, when going to the essence of the Bodhi tree, on the right side of the road, there was a grass cutter named Auspicious Grass, who was cutting grass. He took a handful of grass that was joyfully swirling, swirling to the right, possessing color, possessing fragrance, and comfortable to the touch like a Kacalindika. Then the Bodhisattva went there, and the grass cutter offered a handful of grass to the Bodhisattva, and from the depths of his heart, he generated the mind of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Peaceful Wisdom, if you think that the auspicious grass cutter is the one who generated the mind of enlightenment and offered the grass neither early nor late, do not view it that way. Why? This is the former aspiration of the auspicious grass cutter. Just as I arrange seats for the Bodhisattvas of the Good Aeon at the essence of the Bodhi tree. Why? Peaceful Wisdom, I know through clairvoyance that in the past, ninety-one aeons before this Good Aeon, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened One, endowed with knowledge and conduct, Sugata, Knower of the World, Tamer of Beings, Unsurpassed One, Teacher of Gods and Humans, Buddha, Bhagavan named Vipashyin appeared in the world. In his teachings, a thousand monks practiced celibacy, and the Bhagavan prophesied to them, saying: "You will attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment in the Good Aeon." At that time, a householder named Wise Protector gathered in that assembly, and upon hearing that the Bodhisattvas had been prophesied, he generated the mind of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and made the aspiration: "When the Bodhisattvas of the Good Aeon go to the essence of the Bodhi tree, I will sweep the lion throne." Peaceful Wisdom, do you doubt or hesitate, or have a divided mind, thinking that the householder Wise Protector at that time was someone else? You should not view it that way. Why? This auspicious grass cutter is he.
