Knowing the suchness of the past, future, and present arising, the suchness of the past does not contradict the suchness of the future. The suchness of the past, future, and present arising is the suchness of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases. The suchness of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases is the suchness of all afflictions and purification. The suchness of all afflictions and purification is the suchness of samsara and nirvana. The suchness of samsara and nirvana is the suchness of non-manifestation and accumulation. The suchness of non-manifestation and accumulation is the suchness of all manifestation and accumulation, and it is that itself. Son of the lineage, what is called suchness is reality, is thusness, is non-difference, is immutability, is non-arising, is non-contention, is formlessness. There is no form in suchness, formlessness is called suchness. Just as suchness is formless, so all forms are also formless. Although the Bodhisattva shows that form to all beings, he does not make suchness into form. Although it is formless and without contention, it also shows all bodies and forms, but suchness is not confused. With the wisdom of suchness, one realizes the body of the Tathagata. The body of the Tathagata, with equality, realizes the equality of my body. Since the body is extremely unborn, all bodies are truly seen as without body. All bodies are thoroughly known as interdependent arising. Having known this, one realizes the Dharmakaya. Having realized the Dharmakaya, he becomes the Dharmakaya itself, and not the body of aggregates, elements, and sense bases. Because he thoroughly distinguishes with the Dharmakaya, he benefits beings by seeing, and benefits beings by seeing beings. He also benefits beings by hearing and touching. The wisdom of peace is like a doctor.

King Jivaka collected all the resins, and from many resinous woods, he skillfully crafted beautiful and attractive images of young women, pleasing to behold. Well-made and well-polished, they neither came, nor went, nor stood, nor sat, nor lay down, without thought or discrimination. When any sick person came there, be it a monk, a king, a great minister of a king, a prince, a merchant, a householder, an official, or a petty king, the King of Medicine, Jivaka, would have them meet with those medicine-maidens, and as soon as they met, all their illnesses would vanish, and they would become free from disease, happy, and without impairment. Peaceful Wisdom, do not disparage others; look to the knowledge of the King of Medicine, Jivaka, in healing the diseases of the world. Peaceful Wisdom, similarly, when a Bodhisattva who is fully endowed with the Dharmakaya touches the bodies of sentient beings—whether they are men, women, boys, or girls—who are tormented by desire, hatred, and ignorance, all their afflictions will immediately cease. Also, know that their bodies are completely free from suffering. This is because the Bodhisattva's previous aspirations were exceedingly pure. Peaceful Wisdom, because of the full endowment of the Dharmakaya, this is also a secret of the Bodhisattva's body. Peaceful Wisdom, the bodies of Bodhisattvas who possess the Dharmakaya are not born from food and drink, nor are they sustained by the food that the elements consume. They eat food out of compassion for sentient beings, because they are fully aware of all foods. Although they eat food, it is not out of need, nor does it enter their bodies. By the power of the Dharmakaya, they do not weaken, they do not weaken at all. Peaceful Wisdom, Bodhisattvas who possess the Dharmakaya do not have birth, death, or arising, but in order to fully ripen sentient beings, they also show birth, death, and arising. Although they show death, they fully know that all dharmas have no death and no manifest activity. Although they show arising, they fully know that all dharmas have no change. Although they show birth, they fully know that all dharmas have no birth.
