At all times, one can see the Bodhisattva, but all the Maras cannot see or appear. Even if they see, there is no appearance of seeing. Even if they do not see, it will appear as seeing. It is also not distinguished by seeing, hearing, feeling, and knowing. Even if distinguished by completely maturing sentient beings, it will not be lost from focusing on the mindfulness of the body, and will not be lost at all. He shows sentient beings the impermanence of the body, the suffering of the body, and the selflessness of the body, and also fully understands the peaceful Dharma nature of the body. He also shows sentient beings the various decompositions of the body, and also truly sees that there is no agent and no experiencer in those causes and objects by which the body is manifestly accomplished. He fully understands the body as grass, wood, walls, dreams, and illusions, and also shows sentient beings that the karma of the body is completely purified. This peaceful wisdom, from the Tathagata Dipamkara onwards, is the secret of the Bodhisattva's body and the complete purification of the karma of the body. Therefore, the complete purification of the karma of the body of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is declared even more excellently, for hundreds of thousands of kalpas, or even longer. Peaceful wisdom, even if the Tathagata himself declares the secret of the Bodhisattva's body for as many kalpas as the sands of the Ganges, it will not be exhausted, because the declaration of the secret of the Bodhisattva's body is so immeasurable and inconceivable. The first chapter, the Thus Declared Chapter. From the Mahayana Sutra called "Declaring the Inconceivable Secret," the first chapter, the Thus Declared Chapter.
