It is not for the sake of enjoying gains and respect, not for the sake of praising myself, not for the sake of belittling others, not for the sake of being greedy for gains and respect, not for the sake of being attached to the alms bowl and Dharma robes, not for the sake of pretending, not for the sake of flattery, not for the sake of soliciting, not for the sake of measuring by what is obtained, not for the sake of seeking gains from gains. World Honored One, it is not for the sake of such beings that I request the Thus Come One. World Honored One, for those beings who seek the wisdom of all-knowing, seek the wisdom without attachment, seek the self-born wisdom, seek the wisdom of inequality and equality, seek the supreme wisdom, and those beings who do not cling to self and others, where would there be praising oneself and belittling others? World Honored One, like a hornless bull without arrogance, having removed the thorns, like a lowly person with a humble mind, beings whose minds are equal to earth, water, fire, wind, and space, and Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, I request the Thus Come One for them. World Honored One, for those who do not cling to Dharma, are not arrogant, and have no attachment, where would there be non-Dharma? Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, I request the Thus Come One for them. World Honored One, with pure thoughts, without deceit, without hypocrisy, upright, with an equal mind, benefiting all beings, compassionate, giving correct guidance, giving correct praise, giving correct joy, bearing great burdens, entering the Great Vehicle, abiding closely with great deeds, possessing great compassion, leading all beings to attain happiness, guiding, completely guiding, abiding without relying on all Dharmas, not seeking all places of birth, liberated from all the bonds of Mara, having desire, possessing diligence, cautious, reaching the other shore of all Dharmas, for those beings who are skilled in cutting off all doubts

Bodhisattva. For the sake of the great Bodhisattvas, Blessed One, I ask the Tathagata. Blessed One, for those beings who do not take pride in the wisdom of the Buddha, do not cling to appearances, do not dwell in attachment, abide on the path that has completely transcended all pride, have entered the path, and guide beings on the path, and for those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, Blessed One, I ask the Tathagata. Blessed One, I wish to bring about happiness for all beings, unsurpassed happiness, supreme happiness, the happiness of Nirvana, the happiness of the Buddha, and the happiness of non-action. I ask the Tathagata for the benefit of all beings, for healing, for happiness, for accomplishment, and for happiness. Blessed One, I wish to be without doubt, and from being without doubt, to teach the Dharma to beings in order to dispel their doubts. Blessed One, I ask the Blessed One in order to dispel the doubts of all beings. Why is that? Blessed One, all beings dislike suffering and seek happiness, all beings seek happiness as their purpose. Blessed One, apart from wisdom, I have not seen any other way to bring happiness to beings. Blessed One, apart from the Bodhisattva's Great Vehicle, there is no other way to bring happiness to beings. Blessed One, having seen this meaning, I ask for the Prajnaparamita in order to bring happiness to beings. Blessed One, having truly seen the benefit of the Bodhi- sattvas, I ask the Tathagata about this matter. After praying in this way, the Blessed One said to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Greatly Subduing Power: Greatly Subduing Power, well done, well done! Because you have compassion for the vast populace, you ask the Tathagata about the Prajnaparamita, this is your merit.

Its limits are not easy to understand. Therefore, listen well and keep in mind the subjugation by great effort, and I will tell you. "Blessed One, very well," thus requested the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Subjugation by Great Effort, listening as the Blessed One did. The Blessed One spoke thus: Subjugation by Great Effort, you say thus, "Blessed One, Prajñāpāramitā, Prajñāpāramitā," how is it called? Blessed One, in what way is the Prajñāpāramitā of the Bodhisattvas called? Subjugation by Great Effort, Prajñāpāramitā is not something that can be expressed by any dharma, Prajñāpāramitā is beyond all words. Subjugation by Great Effort, Prajñāpāramitā is this Prajñāpāramitā. This is Prajñāpāramitā. By this is Prajñāpāramitā. Therefore, it is Prajñāpāramitā, it cannot be said thus. Subjugation by Great Effort, this is the transcendence of all dharmas, therefore it is called Prajñāpāramitā. Subjugation by Great Effort, if the Tathāgata has not attained or perceived wisdom itself, how can one perceive Prajñāpāramitā? Subjugation by Great Effort, what is called wisdom is the complete knowledge of all dharmas, it is the complete awareness of all dharmas, therefore it is called wisdom. Subjugation by Great Effort, what is the complete awareness of all dharmas? All these dharmas are in another way, all dharmas are spoken of in another way, all dharmas are not liberated from speech. Whoever completely knows all dharmas, and whoever completely understands all dharmas, that also cannot be expressed in words, but however sentient beings understand, that is how it is called wisdom. This is called imputation, therefore it is called wisdom. Subjugation by Great Effort, all dharmas are not to be established, not to be grasped, not to be spoken, appearing
