Thinking and observing without discouragement, without fear or terror, That Bodhisattva is near to the supreme fruit of enlightenment. If one does not know its nature, but perceives form in the skandha of form, Practicing with feelings, mind, and consciousness as aggregates, Even if one contemplates that these aggregates are empty, That Bodhisattva dwells in characteristics and does not believe in the unborn nature. If one does not dwell in form, nor in feeling, Not dwelling in perception, nor in consciousness, practicing without dwelling, Not focusing on the actor or the action, relying on wisdom to practice, The wise one of unborn mind relies on meditation, attaining the supreme state of peace. That Bodhisattva who dwells here in such a way, In the state of peaceful Nirvana, Is the one who has been prophesied by the Buddhas of the past. "I have settled" or "I have arisen," one has no pride in this, Why? Because one knows the true nature of all phenomena. Practicing in this way is practicing the wisdom of all the Sugatas, Because one knows well that practicing without practice is true practice. The phenomenon that is practiced does not transform into an object of reality, This is the supreme practice of the highest Prajnaparamita. If there is existence, it is non-existence; if there is non-existence, it is non-non-existence, Foolish ordinary people think in this way, distinguishing between existence and non-existence. Existence and non-existence, these two, Their nature is emptiness; if a Bodhisattva knows this, He will surely attain liberation from it. If one knows that in this, The five aggregates are like illusions, Not making illusions different from the five aggregates, nor the aggregates different from illusions, Free from various perceptions, practicing peacefully and gently, This is the supreme practice of the highest Prajnaparamita. Having the support of a virtuous friend, and also accomplishing the power of insight, When hearing the mother of the Buddhas, one will not be afraid. If one has evil companions, constantly relying on others, It is like a new, unseasoned bottle that is destroyed by water. Why is this called the true meaning of a Bodhisattva? Cutting off the root of attachment, also desiring to extinguish all attachments, The enlightenment of the Tathagatas, free from attachment, he has attained and realized, Therefore, this one obtains the true name and title of a Bodhisattva. Why is this called the true meaning of a Mahasattva? Among all sentient beings, becoming the most supreme, Cutting off all kinds of wrong views in the realm of sentient beings, Therefore, he is called a Mahasattva; thus, this is declared. Great generosity, great wisdom, and great power, Entering the unsurpassed, supreme, vast Mahayana of the Tathagatas, Donning the

ūdulwa. Therefore, it is rightly called a great hero. For example, a magician creates illusions at a crossroads, creating many ordinary people with many heads, who are about to be killed. Like those who are to be killed, so is the mind of enlightenment. If one knows that all beings are like illusions, then there is no fear for them. Form, feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness are neither bound nor liberated, nor do they exist. Thus, entering into enlightenment without a timid mind is the supreme armor of holy beings. Why is this called the Great Vehicle of Enlightenment? Because by riding it, all sentient beings can stop their suffering. This vehicle is like the sky, a vast and immeasurable mansion, which enables the manifest attainment of joy, happiness, and bliss, and is the supreme vehicle. Whoever rides on it has no specific direction to go. The going to nirvana that is spoken of is also not a specific direction. For example, a dead person has no way to go. For that reason, it is rightly called nirvana. Bodhisattvas do not perceive the beginning, the end, or the present arising, and are pure in the three times. Those who are unconditioned and without elaboration, this is the supreme practice of the Perfection of Wisdom. When a Bodhisattva is wise and intelligent, he contemplates the unborn nature and practices in this way, generating great compassion but without the perception of sentient beings. This is the supreme practice of the Perfection of Wisdom. If the perception of sentient beings and the perception of suffering arise, thinking to do good for beings and wanting to abandon suffering, then the Bodhisattva who imagines self and sentient beings is not practicing the supreme Perfection of Wisdom. Know all sentient beings as I am. Know all dharmas as all sentient beings are. Not discriminating between the unborn and the born, this is the supreme practice of the Perfection of Wisdom. All the names of dharmas that are spoken of in the world, having abandoned birth and true cessation in all of them, one attains the immortal wisdom, and there is nothing else to be attained. Therefore, this is called the Perfection of Wisdom. If a Bodhisattva practices in this way without doubt, he is wise and knows to abide in equanimity. If one fully understands that all dharmas are without inherent existence, this is the supreme practice of the Perfection of Wisdom.
