Likewise, his meditation between the emptiness of the nature of non-things will be uninterrupted. Likewise, his mindfulness and close placement will be uninterrupted from meditation. Likewise, combining it, his meditation between the eighteen unshared dharmas of the Buddha will be uninterrupted. Likewise, his samadhi meditation will be uninterrupted. Likewise, his dharani gate meditation will be uninterrupted. Likewise, his bodhisattva's supernormal knowledge will be uninterrupted. His ripening of sentient beings will be uninterrupted. His purification of the Buddha-field will be uninterrupted. His omniscience of all aspects will be uninterrupted. Having transcended others and being able to definitely arise from all arising observations, Kungawo, any son or daughter of good family who, with the mind of omniscience, holds this Prajnaparamita, upholds it, reads it, understands it, and writes the Prajnaparamita into letters, places it in a scripture, upholds it, and with flowers, garlands, incense, unguents, powders, Dharma robes, garments, umbrellas, victory banners, various flags, and the sounds of musical instruments, shows respect, honors it, regards it as a teacher, paints it, and makes offerings, then he will fully obtain the benefits of the merits of this life and future lives. Those who have generated the mind for perfect enlightenment also come there, and having seen, grasped, and fully understood this Perfection of Wisdom, they pay homage and prostrate, and then think of returning. Those pure abodes, such as the gods of Great Freedom, the gods of No Heat, the gods of Fine Appearance, the gods of Clear Seeing, and the gods of Akanishta, also come to that very place, and having seen this Perfection of Wisdom, and having paid homage, they think of returning. Ananda, therefore, a son or daughter of good family should generate the mind in this way: 'In the ten directions, in realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, from the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings up to the gods of Great Fruit, those gods who have rightly entered into unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and those who are in the pure abodes, and also other gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, and whatever else there may be, who come here to rightly see, grasp, hold, honor, pay homage, and make offerings to the Perfection of Wisdom, may I give them such a Dharma gift.' Ananda, in the great trichiliocosm, all the gods dwelling from the retinue of the Four Great Kings up to Akanishta will also come to that very place, and having seen, grasped, held, and recited this Perfection of Wisdom, and having fully understood it, they will pay homage and prostrate, and then think of returning, and they will always protect, guard, and conceal that son or daughter of good family. Those gods abiding in the ten directions of the world, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, who have attained unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, will also come to think of offering to this Perfection of Wisdom, and for the sake of protecting, saving, and concealing that son of good family or daughter of good family. Why is that? Ananda, it is because those gods have entered into unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and are the abode and protector of all sentient beings, do not abandon all sentient beings, benefit all sentient beings, and abide in happiness. Then, the venerable Ananda said to the Blessed One, "Venerable Blessed One, how will a son of good family or daughter of good family know that the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings from all the realms of the ten directions up to Akanistha are present here for the sake of properly viewing, grasping, holding, attending, honoring, and respecting this Perfection of Wisdom?" After he had spoken, the Blessed One said to the venerable Ananda, "Ananda, if a son of good family or daughter of good family sees a great light in the direction where this Perfection of Wisdom is placed, then it should be known that the gods who are known to have great power, great strength, and great miraculous abilities have come there for the sake of properly viewing, grasping, holding, attending, honoring, and respecting this Perfection of Wisdom. Furthermore, Ananda, if that son of good family or daughter of good family smells a great non-human fragrance, then it should be known that the gods with great power and great miraculous abilities are viewing, grasping, holding, and fully understanding this Perfection of Wisdom.
