Therefore, there is no manifestation of activity, and because there is no object, there is no perception. Similarly, the first ground has no object, so there is no perception. Because it is extremely pure, there is no object between the ten grounds, so there is no perception. What are these ten grounds? They are: the ground of white and clear vision, the ground of lineage, the eighth ground, the ground of vision, the ground of thinness, the ground of detachment from desire, the ground of accomplishment, the ground of solitary Buddhas, the ground of Bodhisattvas, and the ground of perfect and complete enlightenment, which is the tenth. Among them, in the emptiness of inner emptiness, the first ground has no object. Similarly, the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth grounds have no object. Similarly, combining them, because it is extremely pure, from the emptiness of the nature of non-existence to the emptiness, the first ground has no object, and because it is extremely pure, there is no object between the ten grounds. Why is that? Subhuti, the first ground is not perceived or not perceived by anyone, because it cannot be perceived by anyone, and because it is extremely pure, the ten grounds are not perceived or not perceived by anyone, because it cannot be perceived by anyone. Similarly, because it is extremely pure, in the emptiness of inner emptiness, the maturation of sentient beings is not perceived, and from the emptiness of the nature of non-existence to the emptiness, the maturation of sentient beings is not perceived. Similarly, because it is extremely pure, in the emptiness of inner emptiness, the purification of the Buddha-field is not perceived, and from the emptiness of the nature of non-existence to the emptiness, the purification of the Buddha-field is not perceived. Similarly, because it is extremely pure, in the emptiness of inner emptiness, the five eyes are not perceived, and from the emptiness of the nature of non-existence to the emptiness, the five eyes are not perceived. Subhuti, in this way, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Prajnaparamita, by not perceiving all dharmas, he will surely attain omniscience through the Great Vehicle. After he spoke thus, the Blessed One to

The venerable Subhuti said this to the Buddha: "Venerable Lord, this which is called the Great Vehicle, the Great Vehicle, will surely subdue the world with its power, including gods, humans, and asuras, and will certainly lead to liberation. Venerable Lord, as I understand the meaning spoken by the Blessed One, that Great Vehicle is equal to space. For example, in space, coming, going, and abiding are not seen. Similarly, in that Great Vehicle, coming, going, and abiding are not seen. For example, in space, the prior limit is not perceived, and the subsequent limit and the middle are not perceived. Similarly, in that Vehicle, the prior limit is not perceived, the subsequent limit and the middle are not perceived, because it has completely transcended the three times. Therefore, that Vehicle is called the Great Vehicle." After he had spoken thus, the Blessed One said this to the venerable Subhuti: "Subhuti, it is so, it is so. Just as you have said, that Vehicle is equal to space. Therefore, the Great Vehicle will surely subdue the world with its power, including gods, humans, and asuras, and will certainly lead to liberation. Subhuti, the vehicle of the Bodhisattvas is like this: the six perfections. What are the six? They are the perfection of generosity, the perfection of ethics, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom. Subhuti, that is called the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattvas, the great beings. Furthermore, Subhuti, the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattvas, the great beings, is like this: from inner emptiness to the emptiness of the nature of non-things. Furthermore, Subhuti, the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattvas, the great beings, is like this: all the doors of dharani, all the doors of samadhi, and all the samadhis, such as the samadhi of courageous conduct. Thus combined, like space, it is without attachment, and it is liberated and without defilement.

of the samādhi. Furthermore, Subhūti, the Mahāyāna of a Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva is as follows: the four mindfulnesses, similarly combined, up to the Noble Eightfold Path, and the ten powers of the Tathāgata, similarly combined, up to the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. //Prajñāpāramitā in One Hundred Thousand Verses, Volume Thirteen// Moreover, Subhūti, it is said that the vehicle will subdue the world including gods, humans, and asuras, and will certainly lead to liberation. What is the world including gods, humans, and asuras? It is the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. Subhūti, if the desire realm were to change in such a way that it is not mistaken, not other, not inverted, correct, true, as it is, constant, stable, solid, and of unchanging nature, and if it were not without substance, then this supreme Mahāyāna would not subdue the world including gods, humans, and asuras and would not certainly lead to liberation. Subhūti, because the desire realm is examined, thoroughly proven, expressed in words, and is of an impermanent, unstable, unsolid, and changing nature, because it is without substance, therefore this supreme Mahāyāna subdues the world including gods, humans, and asuras and certainly leads to liberation. Subhūti, similarly, the form realm and the formless realm also change in such a way that they are not mistaken, not other, not inverted, correct, true, as they are, constant, stable, solid, and of unchanging nature, and if they were not without substance, then this supreme Mahāyāna would not subdue the world including gods, humans, and asuras and would not certainly lead to liberation.
