For these dharmas, there is no prior limit or subsequent limit that can be specified. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should thus practice the Prajnaparamita of dharmas that are empty of their own nature. Practicing dharmas that are empty of their own nature, one will not become manifestly attached to anything, whether it be internal, external, conditioned, unconditioned, the dharmas of the Hearers, or the dharmas of the Solitary Buddhas. When this was said, the venerable Subhuti said this to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, we say Prajnaparamita, Prajnaparamita. Blessed One, for what reason is it called Prajnaparamita?" The Blessed One said: "Subhuti, this Prajnaparamita is the supreme other shore of all dharmas, therefore it is called Prajnaparamita. Furthermore, Subhuti, by this Prajnaparamita, all Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, and Tathagata-Arhats-Perfectly Awakened Buddhas have reached the other shore of all dharmas, therefore it is called Prajnaparamita. Furthermore, Subhuti, in the ultimate sense, the meaning of the undifferentiated nature of all dharmas is that by this Prajnaparamita, the Tathagatas have manifestly and perfectly awakened to complete enlightenment, therefore it is called Prajnaparamita. Furthermore, Subhuti, in this Prajnaparamita, Suchness is also included, the true limit is also included, and the sphere of dharma is also included, therefore it is called Prajnaparamita. Furthermore, Subhuti, this Prajnaparamita is neither associated with any dharma, nor is it unassociated. It is neither visible nor invisible, neither obstructed nor unobstructed. Why is that? Thus, this Prajnaparamita is formless, invisible, and unobstructed. Thus, it is of one characteristic in that it is without characteristics. Furthermore, Subhuti, this Prajnaparamita practices all dharmas and all fearlessness.

which bestows all appearances. Subhuti, this Prajnaparamita of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas is not to be cut off by the Maras, nor by the gods of the Mara's retinue, nor by the individuals of the Hearer and Solitary Buddha vehicles. This Prajnaparamita cannot be cut off even by the obstacles of other heretical opponents. Why is that? Subhuti, Whatever cuts off in this way, and with what it cuts off, and what it cuts off, all those are not apprehended in the Prajnaparamita. Subhuti, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should thus practice this Prajnaparamita. Furthermore, Subhuti, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should thus practice the meaning of Prajnaparamita: that is, he should practice the meaning of impermanence, he should practice the meaning of suffering, he should practice the meaning of selflessness, he should practice the meaning of knowing suffering, he should practice the meaning of knowing the origin, he should practice the meaning of knowing cessation, he should practice the meaning of knowing the path, he should practice the meaning of knowing exhaustion, he should practice the meaning of knowing non-arising. He should practice the meaning of knowing the Dharma, he should practice the meaning of knowing subsequent realization, he should practice the meaning of knowing conventional truth, he should practice the meaning of knowing complete familiarity, he should practice the meaning of knowing literal meaning, he should practice the meaning of knowing reality as it is. Subhuti, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should thus practice the meaning of Prajnaparamita with meaning and method. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, if in this profound Prajnaparamita, meaning and non-meaning are not apprehended, then Blessed One, how should the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practice the meaning of Prajnaparamita?" The Blessed One said: "Subhuti, here, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, practicing the meaning of the profound Prajnaparamita, should practice thus: he should not practice that desire is for my benefit, or that it is harmful to me. He should not practice that hatred is for my benefit, or that it is harmfu

It should not be used as something called "thing." It should not be used as something called "ignorance is my thing" or "causes harm to me." Attachment and hatred and, It should not be used as something called "ignorance is my thing" or "causes harm to me." It should not be used as something called "wrong view is my thing" or "causes harm to me." Among all views, it should not be used as something called "my thing" or "causes harm to me." What is the reason for that? Because the suchness of attachment and hatred and ignorance neither benefits nor harms anything. And, the suchness of the aspect of views neither benefits nor harms anything. It should not be used as something called "form is my thing." It should not be used as something called "form causes harm to me." Until "consciousness," it should not be used as something called "my thing." It should not be used as something called "consciousness causes harm to me." Similarly, by analogy, until enlightenment, it should not be used as something called "my thing." It should not be used as something called "enlightenment causes harm to me." What is the reason for that? Because, Subhuti, after the Tathagata has realized the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment, he has not found any benefit or harm. Subhuti, furthermore, whether the Tathagatas appear or do not appear, the suchness of phenomena, and the abiding nature of phenomena, and the faultlessness of phenomena, and the abiding of the realm of phenomena, these do not cause any benefit or harm to anything. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should thus abandon benefit and harm, and practice the Prajnaparamita. When this was said, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: "For what reason, O Blessed One, does the Prajnaparamita neither do benefit nor harm?" The Blessed One said: "Subhuti, it is like this, the Prajnaparamita does not do any conditioned or unconditioned phenomena, Subhuti, therefore, the Prajnaparamita does not do benefit or harm to anything." Reported: "Blessed One, does not do conditioned"
