Those with faults and those without faults, those with afflictions and those without afflictions, those completely afflicted and those completely purified, the suchness of conditioned and unconditioned dharmas. What is the suchness of conditioned and unconditioned dharmas? It is the suchness of past, future, and present dharmas. What is the suchness of past, future, and present dharmas? It is the suchness of a stream-enterer. What is the suchness of a stream-enterer? It is the suchness of the fruit of stream-entry. Similarly, the suchness of a once-returner, a non-returner, an Arhat, and a Pratyekabuddha. What is the suchness of a Pratyekabuddha? It is the suchness of self-awakening. What is the suchness of self-awakening? It is the suchness of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete awakening. What is the suchness of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete awakening? It is the suchness of the Tathagata. What is the suchness of the Tathagata? It is the suchness of all sentient beings. Subhuti, thus, what is the suchness of the Tathagata, and what is the suchness of all sentient beings, is a single suchness, a suchness without difference. What is the suchness without difference? It is inexhaustible. Because it is inexhaustible, it is non-dual. Subhuti, it is by relying on this Perfection of Wisdom of the Tathagata that the Tathagata has manifestly and perfectly awakened. Subhuti, this Perfection of Wisdom also gives birth to the Tathagatas. Subhuti, thus, this Perfection of Wisdom is the teacher of the world. Subhuti, thus, with what suchness does the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly and completely awakened Buddha, understand the suchness of all dharmas, by which he is called the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly and completely awakened Buddha, and without error?
