Wonderful! The Blessed One spoke thus: Subhuti, it is so, it is so. The Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, has well explained to the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas about attachment and non-attachment. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, if they do not practice in what is called 'form without attachment,' then they are practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. If they do not practice in what is called 'feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness without attachment,' then they are practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. If they do not practice in what is called 'eye without attachment,' then they are practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Similarly, if they do not practice in what is called 'ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind without attachment,' then they are practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. If they do not practice in what is called 'the Perfection of Generosity without attachment,' then they are practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Similarly, if they do not practice in what is called 'morality, patience, diligence, meditation, and the Perfection of Wisdom without attachment,' then they are practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Similarly, if they do not practice in what is called 'the ten powers, the fearlessnesses, the individual perfect knowledges, the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, and all-knowingness without attachment,' then they are practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices in this way, they do not perceive what is called 'form without attachment.' They do not perceive what is called 'feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness without attachment.' Up to all-knowingness, they do not perceive what is called 'without attachment.' They do not perceive what is called 'the fruit of stream-enterer, the fruit of once-returner, the fruit of non-returner, Arhatship, solitary enlightenment, and unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment without attachment.'

Chapter Twenty-Nine. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, even though this profound Dharma is taught in this way, there is no increase, and even if it is not taught, there is no decrease. It is wonderful!" After he said this, the Blessed One said to the venerable Subhuti: "Subhuti, it is so, it is so. The Perfection of Wisdom, even if it is taught, there is no increase, and even if it is not taught, there is no decrease. Subhuti, for example, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, dwells for as long as he lives, and even if he praises and does not praise the sky, for the sky, there is no increase even if he praises, and there is no decrease even if he does not praise, because the sky, there is no increase even if he praises, and there is no decrease even if he does not praise. Subhuti, for example, for a person of illusion, there is no increase even if he praises, and there is no decrease even if he does not praise, there is no attachment even if he praises, and there is no anger even if he does not praise. Subhuti, similarly, the Dharma-nature of all Dharmas is the same whether it is taught or not. Subhuti said: Blessed One, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, who practices the Perfection of Wisdom and cultivates the Perfection of Wisdom, will not be timid, and those who practice yoga in this Perfection of Wisdom, and will not regress from the Unsurpassed Perfect Enlightenment, are truly difficult to practice! What is the reason for this? Blessed One, for example, cultivating the Perfection of Wisdom is cultivating the sky, for the sky, there is no Perfection of Wisdom, no Perfection of Dhyana, no Perfection of Diligence, no Perfection of Patience, no Perfection of Morality, and no Perfection of Generosity. For the sky, there is no form, no feeling, no perception, no formation, and no consciousness. For the sky

Emptiness of the inner does not exist. The emptiness of the nature of non-things does not exist either. In space, mindfulnesses do not exist either. Right abandonment, miraculous feet, faculties, powers, limbs of enlightenment, and paths do not exist either. In space, the ten powers, the fearlessnesses, the individual discriminating awarenesses, and the unmixed qualities of the Buddhas do not exist either. In space, the fruit of entering the stream does not exist. Likewise, the fruit of once-returning, the fruit of non-returning, the state of being an Arhat, and self-enlightenment do not exist either. For the sake of unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment does not exist either. Blessed One, those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who don the armor for the sake of sentient beings, strive, endeavor, and exert themselves for the sake of space. Blessed One, those who don the armor for the sake of sentient beings, strive for the complete liberation of space. Blessed One, those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who don the armor for the sake of all dharmas like space, don the great armor. Blessed One, those who don the great armor for the sake of sentient beings, strive to rise in the space of the sky. Blessed One, those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who awaken to unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment for the sake of sentient beings, have attained the perfection of diligence. Blessed One, I prostrate to those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who don such armor. What is the reason for that? Blessed One, if this three-thousand great thousand world system were completely filled by the Tathagatas like this, for example, like a reed forest, or a light forest, or a sugarcane forest, or an arrow shaft forest, or a sesame field, and those Tathagatas were to teach the Dharma for a kalpa or more than a kalpa, and each of those Tathagatas also
