Thinking of doing it and then going back. What is the reason for that? Because the Tathagatas, the Arhats, the perfectly complete Buddhas, also come from this, and all the means of happiness for all sentient beings also arise from this, and the relics of the Tathagatas also arise from this Prajnaparamita. Similarly, this Prajnaparamita, when the Tathagata practices the Bodhisattva conduct, also becomes the basis of all-knowingness, becomes a condition, becomes a cause, becomes a power. World Honored One, it is like that, so from those two parts, I seek Prajnaparamita. After taking this Prajnaparamita, I will recite it with a heart longing for the Holy Dharma. World Honored One, when I remember the Prajnaparamita, I do not truly see a reason to become afraid or shrink back. What is the reason for that? World Honored One, Prajnaparamita is without characteristics. World Honored One, Prajnaparamita is without signs, unspeakable, and unutterable. World Honored One, similarly, from the Paramita of meditation, diligence, patience, discipline, and generosity to all-knowingness, it is because it is unutterable. World Honored One, if Prajnaparamita were with characteristics, and not without characteristics, then the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, having understood that all dharmas are without characteristics, without signs, unspeakable, and unutterable, would not have attained the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, and would not teach sentient beings the Dharma that is without characteristics, without signs, unspeakable, and unutterable. World Honored One, because Prajnaparamita is without characteristics, without signs, unspeakable, and unutterable, therefore the Tathagata

Having understood that all phenomena are without characteristics, without signs, unspeakable, unutterable, and inconceivable, he awakened to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and taught beings the Dharma that is without characteristics, without signs, unspeakable, unutterable, inconceivable, and without names. Blessed One, thus it is, therefore, for this Perfection of Wisdom, the world with gods makes offerings with flowers, incense, perfumes, garlands, unguents, powders, garments, umbrellas, banners, and flags, respects, honors, depicts, worships, holds, recites, and comprehends. Therefore, beings will not fall into hell, the animal realm, or the realm of Yama. They will also not fall into the ground of Hearers or Solitary Buddhas. Until they awaken to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, they will not be separated from seeing the Thus-Gone One, maturing beings, going from Buddha-field to Buddha-field, and offering, respecting, honoring, depicting, and worshiping those Thus-Gone Ones with flowers, incense, perfumes, garlands, unguents, powders, garments, umbrellas, banners, and flags. Blessed One, furthermore, if this three-thousand great thousand world-system were filled with the relics of the Thus-Gone One, piled high, and given to me, and if this Perfection of Wisdom written in a book were also given to me, I would choose the latter, this Perfection of Wisdom. Why is that? Because the relics of the Thus-Gone One arise from it, and are worthy of respect, honor, depiction, and offering.

Therefore, those sons of good family who make it into a book, make it into a teacher, make it into a painting, or make offerings to it, will not be born in the lower realms, but will experience the perfections of gods and humans, and just as they have made their aspiration, they will completely pass into nirvana by means of the Hearer Vehicle, the Solitary Buddha Vehicle, or the Great Vehicle. Blessed One, what is seeing the Tathagata and what is seeing the Perfection of Wisdom are the same. Blessed One, therefore, what is the Perfection of Wisdom and what is the Tathagata are not two, they are indivisible. Blessed One, furthermore, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, who teaches the twelve branches of the Dharma with the three kinds of miracles, in the midst of the Sutra Pitaka, the Songs, the Prophecies, and the Instructions, and the sons or daughters of good family who hold this Perfection of Wisdom, understand it completely, and teach it to others as well, these two are the same. Why is that? Blessed One, because the three kinds of miracles, the Sutra Pitaka, the Songs, the Prophecies, and the Instructions, all arise from this. Blessed One, furthermore, in the east, the Tathagatas as numerous as the grains of sand in the Ganges River, who teach the Dharma with the three kinds of miracles, in the midst of the Sutra Pitaka, the Songs, the Prophecies, and the Instructions, and likewise in the south, the west, the north, above, below, and in the intermediate directions, in the world realms as numerous as the grains of sand in the Ganges River, the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, who teach the Dharma with the three kinds of miracles, in the midst of the Sutra Pitaka, the Songs, the Prophecies, and the Instructions, and the sons or daughters of good family who hold this Perfection of Wisdom, and others
