Take various kinds of clothes, incense, fragrances, garlands, unguents, powders, Dharma robes, umbrellas, banners, and flags. Take gold flowers and silver flowers. Take various kinds of precious jewels, gold, gems, pearls, lapis lazuli, conch shells, crystals, and corals. Take many foods, edibles, and drinks. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita rode in a single chariot together with them. Those five hundred girls also rode in five hundred chariots, surrounding him. Leading with many attendants, they went separately in the direction of the east. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita gradually went on and on. From a long distance, he saw a fragrant city made of the seven precious jewels, beautiful and pleasing to behold. It was surrounded by seven walls made of the seven precious jewels, possessing seven horse-landing places, seven moats, and surrounded by seven rows of palm trees. The water area was twelve yojanas in length, and the width was also twelve yojanas. It was rich and prosperous, peaceful and happy, and populated by many people. There were five hundred market streets, like those painted in a picture. He saw such bridges where vehicles could travel side by side. In the middle of the road junction, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmādgata was on a Dharma seat, surrounded and preceded by hundreds of thousands of attendants, teaching the Dharma. As soon as he saw him, he obtained such bliss, like a monastic meditating in the first dhyana, with his mind fixed on one point, he obtained such bliss. Having seen him, he thought, 'It is not appropriate for me to go to the presence of the noble Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmādgata while riding in a chariot.' Thinking this, he got off the chariot. The merchant's daughter and the five hundred girls also got off those chariots. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita was surrounded by the merchant's daughter and the five hundred girls.

To illuminate the four corners of the pavilion, luminous precious gems were arranged. Four silver incense burners were also suspended from the air, in which pure black agarwood incense was burned, this was for the purpose of offering to the Prajnaparamita. Inside the pavilion, a throne made of seven precious materials was placed, and on it were placed four precious boxes. Inside it was enshrined the Prajnaparamita scripture written on golden leaves with lapis lazuli ink. The pavilion was also adorned with flowers and various silk garlands, making it extremely magnificent. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita, together with five hundred women including the merchant's daughter, saw the pavilion decorated with immeasurable ornaments. They also saw countless gods. Lord Indra also scattered heavenly Mandarava flowers, heavenly sandalwood powder, heavenly gold powder, and heavenly silver powder all over the pavilion, scattering everywhere, scattering abundantly, scattering exceedingly abundantly, and heard the sounds of heavenly musical instruments. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita then said to Lord Indra: Lord Indra, why do you, together with countless gods, scatter Mandarava flowers and sandalwood powder, etc., all over this precious pavilion, scattering everywhere, scattering abundantly? And why do the gods play these heavenly musical instruments from the sky? After saying these words, Lord Indra said to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita: Son of good family, do you not know? She is the beloved mother of all, the creator of birth, the chief mother. If one learns from her, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas will attain the perfection of all qualities, all the Buddha-dharmas, and omniscience itself. Having spoken thus, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva Sadāprarudita said to the Lord of the Gods, Indra: Kauśika! Where does the Prajñāpāramitā, the beloved mother of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, the creator of birth, the chief mother, reside? Indra said: Well then, inside the multi-storied pavilion, on golden scrolls written with lapis lazuli ink, Bodhisattva-Mahasattva Dharmoddgata, sealed with seven layers, we are not allowed to show it to you. Then the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva Sadāprarudita, together with five hundred daughters, including the merchant's daughter, gathered with flowers and garlands, clothes and jewels, incense and perfumes, ointments and powders, Dharma robes and umbrellas, banners and streamers, gold and silver flowers, which we brought to offer to the Prajñāpāramitā. Some of these were placed for the purpose of offering to the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva Dharmoddgata. Then the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva Sadāprarudita, with flowers and incense and perfumes and garlands, ointments and powders and clothes, umbrellas and banners and streamers, and various kinds of cymbals, having first made offerings to the Prajñāpāramitā, went to where the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva Dharmoddgata was. Having gone there, he also scattered flowers and incense and perfumes and garlands and ointments and powders, clothes and umbrellas and banners and streamers and sandalwood powder, and gold and silver flowers, everywhere, manifestly scattered, completely manifestly scattered, for the sake of offering to the Dharma. Then those flowers, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva
