大（菩萨）法胜住在花朵的楼阁中。那些金银花朵的各种颜色也住在天空的宫殿中。法衣和珍宝衣服也像虚空中各种珍宝的云彩一样存在。菩萨摩诃萨常啼和商人的女儿等五百个女儿，看到菩萨摩诃萨法胜的如此神变和奇迹，心想：这位菩萨摩诃萨法胜如此神通广大，如此威力强大，如此光辉灿烂，真是太神奇了！这位善男子在行菩萨行时，尚且能变现如此神变，如果证得无上正等菩提，那还用说吗？然后，商人的女儿等五百个女儿对菩萨摩诃萨法胜生起欢喜和恭敬，她们都发起了无上正等菩提心，并发愿说：愿我们以此善根，在未来世证得如来、应供、正等觉。愿我们在行菩萨行时，也能获得菩萨摩诃萨法胜所获得的那些法。就像圣者菩萨摩诃萨法胜恭敬般若波罗蜜多一样，愿我们也恭敬般若波罗蜜多。就像菩萨摩诃萨法胜为众多众生开示一样，愿我们也为众多众生开示。就像圣者菩萨摩诃萨精通并圆满般若波罗蜜多一样，愿我们也精通并圆满般若波罗蜜多。她们就这样发愿。

The great (Bodhisattva) Dharmotkranta resided in a flower pavilion. Those gold and silver flowers of various colors also resided in a celestial palace in the sky. The Dharma robes and precious garments also existed in the sky like clouds of various precious jewels. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita and the five hundred daughters, including the merchant's daughter, saw such miraculous transformations and wonders of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmotkranta and thought: This Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmotkranta is so miraculously powerful, so mighty, and so glorious, it is truly amazing! This noble son, even while practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, can manifest such miraculous transformations. What need is there to mention when he attains the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment? Then, the five hundred daughters, including the merchant's daughter, developed joy and reverence for the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmotkranta, and they all generated the mind of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and made the aspiration: May we, through this root of virtue, in the future, become a Tathagata, Arhat, perfectly and completely enlightened Buddha. May we, while practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, also attain those very Dharmas attained by the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmotkranta. Just as the noble Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmotkranta reveres the Prajñāpāramitā, may we also revere the Prajñāpāramitā. Just as the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmotkranta extensively teaches many beings, may we also extensively teach many beings. Just as the noble Bodhisattva Mahasattva is skilled in means and perfect in the Prajñāpāramitā, may we also be skilled in means and perfect. They made such aspirations.

孩子们的祈愿也已发出。此后，菩萨摩诃萨常啼，以及商主之女等五百位女子，对般若波罗蜜多做了供养。也对菩萨摩诃萨法增做了恭敬侍奉，菩萨摩诃萨常啼以头顶礼拜菩萨摩诃萨法增的双足，连同住处和侍从，合掌于一处安坐。安坐于一处后，菩萨摩诃萨常啼对菩萨摩诃萨法增如此说道：善男子，我寻找般若波罗蜜多时，从一处寺庙中听到了声音，说：善男子，往东方去，从那里就能听闻般若波罗蜜多。之后我听到了那个声音，便朝着东方而去，我心想，我没有问那个声音我需要走多久，以及从谁那里能够听闻和获得般若波罗蜜多。就这样，我变得不悦和极度悲伤，在那片土地上度过了七天，心想我需要走多久，从谁那里能够听闻般若波罗蜜多，我没有问那个声音，除了忆念般若波罗蜜多的悲伤之外

The children's prayers were also offered. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita, and the five hundred daughters including the merchant's daughter, made offerings to the Prajñāpāramitā. They also honored and served the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmodgata, and the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita bowed his head to the two feet of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmodgata, together with his residence and attendants, and sat down in one place with folded palms. Having sat down in one place, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sadāprarudita spoke thus to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmodgata: Noble son, when I was searching for the Prajñāpāramitā, I heard a voice from a monastery, saying: Noble son, go to the east, and from there you will hear the Prajñāpāramitā. Then, when I heard that voice, I went towards the east, and I thought to myself, I did not ask that voice how long I needed to go, and from whom I could hear and obtain the Prajñāpāramitā. Thus, I became displeased and greatly saddened, and spent seven days in that land, thinking that I needed to go for how long, and from whom I could listen to the Prajñāpāramitā, I did not ask that voice, other than the sorrow of contemplating the Prajñāpāramitā.

被那光芒遍布之后，我听到了你未曾离开那个地方，正在宣讲般若波罗蜜多。听到之后，生起了无数的等持之门。当我在那里的时候，十方诸如来都为我吹气，并说：‘善哉！善哉！种姓之子，这些等持都是从般若波罗蜜多中产生的。’我们也是安住于这些等持，圆满了诸佛之法。然后，那些如来对我极好地开示后，便隐没了。我也从那个等持中起身，心想：那些如来从何而来？那些如来往何处去？然后我又心想：圣者菩萨摩诃萨法增，因为曾经为过去的诸佛做事，积累了善根，学习了般若波罗蜜多的善巧方便，所以请他为我指示那些如来从何而来，那些如来往何处去。因此，种姓之子，我向你请问那些如来从何而来，那些如来往何处去。种姓之子，请你务必为我们指示，那些如来从何而来，往何处去，我们如何才能知晓，如何才能见到如来。般若波罗蜜多中常啼菩萨品第七十四。

After being pervaded by that light, I heard that you were expounding the Prajnaparamita without moving from that place. After hearing that, countless doors of samadhi arose. When I was there, the Tathagatas from the ten directions breathed on me and said, 'Well done! Well done! Son of good family, these samadhis have arisen from the Prajnaparamita.' We also abide in these samadhis and have perfected all the Buddha's teachings. Then, those Tathagatas showed me very well and disappeared. I also arose from that samadhi and thought: From where did those Tathagatas come? Where did those Tathagatas go? Then I thought again: The noble Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmavardhana, because he had done deeds for the Buddhas of the past, accumulated roots of virtue, and learned the skillful means of the Prajnaparamita, please show me from where those Tathagatas came and where those Tathagatas went. Therefore, son of good family, I ask you from where those Tathagatas came and where those Tathagatas went. Son of good family, please show us how we can know from where those Tathagatas came and where they went, and how we can see the Tathagatas.
