In that surrounding environment, there are five hundred gardens, all made of the seven precious substances, beautiful and pleasing to the eye. In each of these gardens, there are five hundred lakes of one yojana in extent, and all of these lakes are covered with beautiful and pleasing-to-the-eye seven precious lotuses (Sanskrit: utpala, 青莲花), lotuses (Sanskrit: padma, 莲花), water lilies (Sanskrit: kumuda, 白色睡莲), and white lotuses (Sanskrit: pundarika, 白莲花). All of these lotuses, lotuses, water lilies, and white lotuses are as wide as a chariot wheel. The blue ones are blue in color, look blue, and appear blue; the yellow ones are yellow in color, look yellow, and appear yellow; the red ones are red in color, look red, and appear red; the white ones are white in color, look white, and appear white. All of these lakes are filled with the sounds of swans, ruddy shelducks, cranes, herons, and geese. All of these gardens are not man-made, nor are they possessed by anyone, but arise from the maturation of the previous karma of those beings themselves. This is because they have long practiced the Perfection of Wisdom and have great faith in the profound Dharma. Son of good family, in the center of the streets of the city of Incense, the house of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharmadhika is one yojana in circumference, made of the seven precious substances, adorned with various jewels, pleasing to the eye, and surrounded by seven walls and seven rows of palm trees. In that house, there are four gardens as the enjoyment of the house: the garden called Always Joyful, the garden called Without Sorrow, the garden called Free from Sorrow, and the garden called Beautiful Flowers. In each of these gardens, there are eight lakes: called Good, Best Good, Joy, Best Joy, Bliss, Possessing Bliss, Certainty, and Non-Regression. One side of these lakes is gold.

The inner base is made of karketana, and the base is scattered with gold sand. Each of these lakes has eighty-eight thousand embankments with steps. The surfaces of the embankments are all adorned with various jewels, and jambunada gold trees grow in the middle of the embankments. All these lakes are covered with various kinds of utpala flowers, lotus flowers, kumuda flowers, and pundarika flowers, and the sounds of swans, sarasa birds, and mandarin ducks are heard. Various kinds of flowering trees grow around these lakes. The flowers blown by the wind from these flowering trees also fall into the lakes. The water of all these lakes has the fragrance of sandalwood and is endowed with perfect qualities of color, smell, taste, and touch. There is the pleasure ground of Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma-victorious, and he, together with his retinue and sixty-eight thousand women, enjoys the pleasures of the five senses. The beings living in that city, whether men or women, are also always very happy and enjoy the pleasures of the five senses in the gardens and lakes. Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma-victorious also plays and rejoices together with his retinue, and afterwards, he expounds the Prajnaparamita in the three times. The beings living in the city of Spices also set up a Dharma throne for Bodhisattva Mahasattva Dharma-victorious in the middle of the city's roads, with legs made of gold, silver, lapis lazuli, or crystal, and covered with a cotton pad, an antelope skin pad, a brocade pad, or Kashi cloth, with a height of about half a yojana, and a canopy decorated with pearls hanging above. And, in that direction all around, flowers of various colors are scattered, scattered everywhere.

Among those who listen, both humans and gods, some learn to read, some learn to recite, some fully understand, some hold, some memorize, some repeat, some ask, some follow proper attention. All those sentient beings are not of the nature of falling back, but are all non-retreating from unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment. Son of good family, he is your long-time virtuous friend and teacher, who encourages, praises, and greatly rejoices in unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment.
