Furthermore, if one does so, one thinks: "By this root of virtue, may all sentient beings in that Buddha-field have the touch of divine substances when I awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment." Furthermore, Subhuti, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva thinks: "Just by thinking, may I offer and give desirable forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and touches to all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, the Shravakas, and all sentient beings." When he thinks in this way, he thinks: "By this root of virtue, in that Buddha-field of mine, when I awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, and together with the Shravaka Sangha and all sentient beings, just by thinking, may desirable forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and touches be perfectly accomplished." Furthermore, Subhuti, when the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he thinks: "May I personally abide in the first Dhyana, and may all sentient beings also abide in the first Dhyana. May I personally abide in the second Dhyana, the third Dhyana, and the fourth Dhyana, and may all sentient beings also abide in the fourth Dhyana.

You yourself should also truly abandon and meditate on the miraculous feet, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the Noble Eightfold Path. May all sentient beings also be established on the Noble Eightfold Path. Moreover, you yourself should meditate on the doors of liberation: emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. May all sentient beings also be established on the doors of liberation: emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. Thinking thus, when he thinks in this way, he thinks to himself: 'By this root of virtue, may all the sentient beings in that Buddha-field where I attain perfect enlightenment in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment not be separated from the four dhyanas, not be separated from the four immeasurables, not be separated from the four formless absorptions, not be separated from the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, and not be separated from the doors of liberation: emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness.' Thus, he generates the thought. Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva thus engages in the Perfection of Wisdom, he purifies the Buddha-field. Until all those aspirations that he has thought of are completely fulfilled, he will not awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Moreover, he himself is endowed with all roots of virtue, and he makes all those sentient beings endowed with roots of virtue. Moreover, his own body is also beautiful. Those sentient beings who have been completely ripened by that Bodhisattva-Mahasattva also manifest beautiful, lovely, and pleasing forms because they are embraced by merit. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva thus purifies the Buddha-field. In any case, the name of being consigned to the three lower realms will not exist, the name of being consigned to wrong views will not exist, the name of being consigned to desire, hatred, and delusion will not exist, the name of being consigned to women and men will not exist, and the name of being consigned to the two vehicles will not exist.

The name imputed as impermanence and suffering and selflessness is also impossible, the name imputed as complete grasping is also impossible, the name imputed as self and what belongs to self is also impossible, the name imputed as latent and arising is also impossible, the name imputed as inverted is also impossible, and the name imputed as result is also impossible. Otherwise, those sentient beings are blown by the tree wind as they wish, or among the internal and external objects, for example: the sound of emptiness and, the sound of signlessness and, the sound of wishlessness and, the sound of non-arising and non-ceasing and, the sound of all phenomena being without essence and, the sound of all phenomena being empty of all phenomena arise, and the sound of the essence of those phenomena being without essence as it is, whether the Tathagatas appear or the Tathagatas do not appear, all phenomena are empty of all phenomena. Whatever is empty is signless. Whatever is signless is wishless. Thus, the sound of teaching the Dharma goes on day and night, whether walking, sitting, standing, or sleeping, it always arises, and in this way the Buddha-field is completely purified. In such a Buddha-field, after manifestly awakening to unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who reside in the ten directions of the world, will be well praised. Any sentient being who hears the name of that Tathagata will definitely attain unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment. When the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha teaches the Dharma, no sentient being will doubt, "This is Dharma, this is not Dharma." Why is that? Because, this is the suchness of all phenomena, there is no non-Dharma in it, all phenomena are Dharma. For those sentient beings who are oppressed by non-virtuous roots, and for the Buddhas or the Shravakas of the Buddhas, practicing virtuous
